l came for the relaxing atmosphere and stayed because the short ribs changed my DNA. Seriously, the meat is so tender it basically dissolves on eye contact-no knife required, just a hearty appetite and a sense of wonder. The service was flawless (shoutout to the staff for being attentive without being hovering) and the vibe is pure West Kootenay chill. If you're in Castlegar and you don't order the ribs, are you even living?

Generous portions + great food. The daily specials we tried (one pasta, one beef curry) had impressive flavor and we’d easily go back for them again. We also tried the Beef Mappas and the Short Rib Yorkies: both fantastic. The fireplace makes things nice and cozy, service was quick and staff was kind.
