Lin from Starbucks in Castlegar, BC is an Absolute Rockstar!
We stopped into the Castlegar Starbucks while visiting, and wow Lin completely made our day! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, genuine, and made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. Her energy is contagious, and she has this incredible way of making everyone feel special like she’s known you forever.
What really impressed us was how she greeted her regulars by name, remembered their usual orders, and even checked if they wanted to try something new. That kind of personal connection and care is rare these days, and Lin does it effortlessly.
Honestly, Starbucks — give this woman her own store and a huge raise! If I could, I’d steal her and bring her to my office — she’s that amazing. Lin, you are a true rockstar and an absolute gem!

Starbucks Canada needs to look at this review…Lin, omg AMAZING! We drove from Christina Lake to get coffee and arrived to hear their espresso machine was down (gasp!). Lin to the rescue! She asked me for my “normal” Starbucks order (Kelowna) and whipped something up even better. Starbucks you need to protect Lin at all costs!!!! Clone her, make her a regional trainer. Truly incredible xoxo I wish I could give her 100 stars.

The staff at this store are absolutely amazing! They all know my name and even ask about my week. Such wonderful people. They always make me smile, especially Lin. That girl has so much energy and is always so happy to see everyone. She was amazing at trying to get people alternatives when the espresso machine went down for a month too. My favourite of all Starbucks locations.
The baristas are always friendly, know your drink and your name. Can't rave about the Manager Lin and her workers enough.

The staff at the Castlegar location are all top notch! They’ve always been great, but when Lin arrived, this place took a turn for the magnificent!!! Her kindness and upbeat personality is unmatched, and she’s ALWAYS taking care of each of her customers like they’re her family. She’s a magical human and always makes sure her customers are taken care. Thank you to all the lovely staff here!

At this point I know all the batistas and they all know me, and my kids. We get smiles and even hugs and all the pleasantries🥰 I definitely have a Starbucks addiction and it doesn't help how much I love the people who work here. They also just know what to make for me, half the time I can just say surprise me and its amzing, I fear if I go to an out of town Starbucks I won't know how to order😂

Machines have been broken almost 1 month now. I was brought a green latte, horrible tasting, I called them and asked them to refund the person who brought it to me as they are a regular, they said yes. Probably shouldn’t sell stuff if it doesn’t taste right.
