3.5. Number one go too lunch/coffee place in Chemainus. Great character building atmosphere. New owners have big shoes to fill. I hope they can keep service and quality standards as high as founders and previous owners. It’s all in the details. We will see. So far pretty good. I noticed some of the signage was being done a little hap hazzardly and one of the servers seemed a little rushed to take my order, hopefully just a one off. Food was ok. My bacon and avocado benny was average and it took a long time to arrive at our table. My wife had the veggie bowl which was 80% hash browns.

Beautiful building but average and expensive food. Breakfast sandwich is a frozen sausage patty and a egg on a average bun. Coffee is decent, would rather see local branded coffee though.
