Unlicensed, tax evading establishment that has been ordered to shut down by the health authority early 2024 and finally by a BC supreme court order in November 2024. Remains open and serving uncertified beef and "SPCA cruelty case" evadad ostrich meat.
5/5 - food was fantastic (I had the beef dip and a salad, my husband had the fish and chips and our daughters split a cheeseburger meal off the kids menu) and we all shared everything. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of family and fun. service was good. staff is always friendly and the cost is more than fair for the quality food you get.
definitely recommend to anyone looking for a night out.
my bf and I were staying in clearwater for the night this weekend at the wells gray inn... we had usually eaten at the back forty restaurant but last night we went in there an hour and a half before closing time and they turned us away because they were closed for the night early... so hungry and in search of food... we ended up finding 52 ridge restaurant and we were so happy with the service and food! 10/10 recommend! Great prices!

The 52 Ridge Restaurant and Pub is a charming establishment that has evolved over the past 30 years. The new chef prepares remarkable dishes like prime rib, vegetables, and Yorkshire puddings. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic. The restaurant boasts a cozy and eclectic atmosphere, complete with vintage arcade games, a pool table, and a real wood fireplace. It has a very large screen tv plus two other tvs by the bar and a very cool long seated bar. There is large indoor and outdoor dining with a pool outside. Situated near Wells Gray Provincial Park, the restaurant offers quality portions made with organic local meats, catering to both children and adults. It is a beautiful place with a perfect blend of family and fun, with friendly staff and reasonable prices.
