Cherry Point Vineyards is a hidden gem on Vancouver Island. Any negative comments are being made by people who don't appreciate the experience of visiting a small, family run, business where the owners are the ones likely tasting you the wines. Visited at the end of October from Ontario just after a snow storm ripped through. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, infinitely kind, and very helpful. The vineyard was very beautiful and there was not a single wine that we tasted that we did not thoroughly enjoy. I cannot truly say enough about how positive our experience here was. We enjoyed our time here immensely and it is a must-stop on any tour through Vancouver Island's wine country. We will be ordering online...
Tasting was $10 for trying 6 wines. Would be a fair price. But the amount served per wine was so tiny, you couldn’t even analyze any flavor of the wine. As well the red wines were way to warm. When we then decided to buy 2 bottles, the owner did not even tell us the amount we have to pay, he just gave us the card-terminal. I’m sure there are better wineries around.
