They have the best cookies ! Awesome location to grab a morning coffee or eat in for breakfast, dog friendly patio and a dog run for the pets.

I was here for the first time Sunday after having it recommended to me by a friend ... and I AM FLOORED!! The atmosphere I noticed first, and it's the warmest country feeling. The customer service is phenomenal, Alyssa and Keaten were just truly amazing and they are definitely in the right industry the way they go above and beyond for every single customer!! The food ... oh boy ... no word of a lie, the BEST beef dip, caesar salad and iced coffee I have EVER had!! I will be returning and recommending to anyone I can!! Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!

We came out of town and oh my goodness What an amazing experience!
It was our most successful family breakfast with my toddler. This little eatery had something for every taste. The restaurant was just the style I adore with amazing reasonably priced food, a cozy atmosphere, a cute patio and a backyard with a playground for littles! The kid's menu had various options which I loved. What else does a family want? Lol
I got eggs benny with bacon and it was so yummy! Got my 2 yrs old dollar pancakes which were 3 big pancakes and two big cups of whipped cream and berries jam on the side. My husband liked his breakfast! Self-service all you want to drink coffee was great too. All of these plus great staff! Our server was a young lady with light hair colour who was so kind and energetic! My only suggestion would be to renovate the bathroom; that’s all.

Kid-friendliness: Amazing for kids and toddlers! High chair, change table, colouring stuff and a beautiful playground with slides and else!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after seeing some less favorable feedback from so-called “breakfast connoisseurs.” Having enjoyed a delightful morning at Friesen's Countrytyme Gardens, I believe it deserves a spotlight for the wonderful experience it offers.

Upon entering, I was charmed by the quaint and practical atmosphere of the restaurant. A glass case filled with enticing goodies—cinnamon buns, cookies, muffins, Nanaimo bars, and other pastries—welcomed us. It set the tone for what turned out to be a lovely breakfast outing.

My wife and I decided to go with the classic Eggs Benedict, and I have to say, the prices were definitely fair for what we received. Plus, the self-service coffee situation didn’t bother me at all; in fact, it felt quite homey as we poured our own cups. We found a table outside in the stunning garden, which was an absolute highlight on that beautiful July morning. The setting was serene and picturesque, allowing us to truly enjoy our surroundings.

The service was prompt, and soon our Eggs Benedict arrived. They came on a homemade biscuit that was simply to die for! The eggs were perfectly poached, and the Hollandaise sauce was rich and flavor-packed. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, just the way I like them.

Throughout our meal, our waitress was a beam of sunshine. She checked on us multiple times to refill our coffee and engage in friendly conversation, all while being attentive to other diners as well. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about providing a great experience for everyone.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Friesen's Countrytyme Gardens to anyone traveling through the area. It’s a charming spot with delicious food, fantastic service, and a truly lovely ambiance. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you—this place deserves to be celebrated!

Poor service and rude server. It took 45 minutes to get our food. The server took our order at the table. We didn’t know that we could had ordered at the counter and it seemed quicker.

Great eggs Benedict! Served on a biscuit if that’s your thing :)

This place is one of the best gems in the valley. It oozes cozy, warm, farmhouse charm. The food is always so fresh and hot and the selection of homemade breads and baking is enormous. Everything is always SO clean and spotless, even in the massive back patio and garden you will always see the staff picking up leaves and sweeping and wiping. The dedicated dog run was a welcome surprise. The amount of pride the owners and staff take is evident in every part. Well done.

I love their outdoor seating areas. Friendly staff. They changed their menu. Lovely baked goods and obsessed with their raspberry iced tea ❤️✨
