Average food store with over price. Everything was good except for the prices. For a hot dog, I believe it was $9, I believe. And this is crazy!

They claim to open at 11 am everyday. We went at 11 am on a Sunday in July. Waited until 11:30 am and they still hadn't opened.

Kal Lake Food was my 179th eatery on my journey to visit every eatery in Vernon.

I should note this is only open during summer.

I ordered Large Fries for $7. I appreciate the stack of ketchup packets.

It was surprisingly quick service for a beach concession stand.

If you're hungry at the beach, this concession is suitable.

The poutine was seriously awesome! Fries were hot and fresh and crisp, gravy was good! Looking forward to coming back!

Cute little beach shop where you can order food such as fries, hot dogs, veggie dogs, poutine, quesadillas, and sometimes other mexican fare. They take debit, credit and cash. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer available to use.There was a small "daily specials" menu kind of hidden on the counter when you walked up. I saw chicken strips and fries on the specials menu.They also had some chips, slushies (mango and blue raspberry), and all sorts of bottled pop/iced teas, and novelty ice creams/popcicles.My family was happy with the poutine and hot dog. I was a little disappointed with the fries, they were cold, under done and in need of salt. A large fry was a generous portion, more than enough for two to share.

Closing early by 15 minutes isn't cool. Sent my daughter to the concession for ice cream and you closed the shutters when she was almost there! 15 mins early! Horribly devastating to children wanting ice cream after I told them we still had time

The chicken quesadilla was so yummy today...we both enjoyed our snacks.
