Beautiful winery, wonderful staff, and lovely wines

Young winery but it lots of character and classy presentation. Amazing selection of wines that left me surprised about how a winery in the Island can have such quality and variety, due to the differences in weather and soil compared to the Okanagan. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit and enjoy your wine or walk around a part of the vineyards.
We did the tasting at 3pm with Kat. She was very knowledge and friendly. Highly recommended even if you’re not a big wine drinker.

Just been to ' Jazz in the vineyard' in 40 Knots Winery. Cozy rustic setting, breeze in between the glass wall, geese marching along the tune of jazz. Gamay red wine has very clean taste. Perfect to wrap up another week..

Sustainable and clean practices here. Beautiful wine blends. Young winery but very sophisticated and classy presentation. Beautiful grounds that you can sit and enjoy, or walk around a short interperative trail. Definitely do the special pairing that is by reservation only at 3pm every day.

Very beautiful, friendly atmosphere. Different sitting areas with lighting, wool blanket to keep you warm on the patios if needed. Staff very knowledgeable regarding their organic wines.

I love this place and I love that they're doing ciders now as well. The flights are perfect and I really like the multiple areas to chill and enjoy your drink. Normally I enjoy the whites on the island, their reds were also quite delicious.

If you like wine, don’t go here. Their wines are terrible. Paid $40 for 2 flights & didn’t even finish any of the wines as they were so bad. Gimmicky & over priced.
And seeing as 40 Knots have flagged this an ‘not legitimate’ as they clearly cannot handle an honest review, I am adding a photo of proof that we went to the winery & didn’t finish our flights as the wine is vile.
This is a quality destination, informative, great service and amazing wines, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time, would highly recommend.

Great to stop by to support a local winerie. Their wine tasting was overpriced for the quantity poured. Nevertheless, it was good to talk and try to taste their winemaking decisions. Certainly, what they did with the premises - despite prices, quantity and quality - makes it a good experience.

Beautiful surroundings and an impressive venue. We popped in for a couple flights of wine. They have a good setup which allows you to either order pre-determined red/white flights and also make your own custom flight from their wide selection.
If I had one complaint, the white wines we were served in our flight were not chilled at all. It was a very hot day, so it was particularly noticeable. But other than that we had a good experience here.

The wine making tour at 40 Knots was amazing. The vintner was super passionate and interesting. Not the mention the wine is great! We are not big white wine fans but we enjoyed everything we tasted and enjoyed a few bottles later! Hugh lit recommend if you are in the area.

We were feeling a little defeated trying to find the right wedding venue until we found 40 Knots Winery! From the get go we loved their terraced floor-to-ceiling glass building that overlooked the vineyard, stunning! The customer service that was provided to us throughout the planning process was second to none. We used their day of coordinator service and our coordinator(s) took the time with us to truly understand the vision for our special day and they made sure it was executed flawlessly on the day of our wedding. Before our BIG day we had faith in them to get the job done right. On the day of our reception the staff went out of their way to make sure that we (the bride and groom) were well looked after. They catered to our needs (without us asking them to) and made sure we had a drink in our hand and food to eat! They executed the coordination seamlessly making sure every detail was accounted for. They were able to discretely make sure everything got done. They did a good job ironing out small fires the day of our wedding without concerning us, so that we could just be in the moment. We would highly recommend 40 Knots Winery to anyone considering using them as their wedding venue.
