“Have been multiple times this Summer each time with different people and we always end up having a wonderful time. We try to get something different every time which is easy because it seems they are always trying a new menu item.
Caesar salad with anchovies is a must.
Shuckers choice oysters don't disappoint but for me it's all about the sauces. The jalapeno and mignonette are my favorites. They also have an excellent wine list.”

“Got a growler from here of the Cream Ale. Great service, got a taste and got my growler filled so quickly even tho it was busy, very pleasant experience.

Beer is excellent, rare to see a cream all type of beer on offer and so it’s a treat.

There was not much parking but I was lucky to get the last spot.”

“Finding a gluten free breakfast on the go is always difficult, but in airports it’s next to impossible. On The Fly has the most delightful gluten free spanakopitas though and I was shocked! They also have oat and almond milk for drinks and they are so kind and genuinely happy. Made for a very happy celiac :) thank you.”

“I came here for my husband's birthday dinner. We both are vegetarian and we ordered vegetable popza (vegetable fried gyoza) bibimbop with tofu, plain sunomono, and veggie rolls. They all tasted amazing. The restaurant felt like home style and the service was wonderful. It made our day. I highly recommend it 👌”

“We went for a birthday dinner, as we have been at Martines many times. The restaurant was full as usual on a weekend. Was so noisy that you couldn't have a conversation, the food was very good, but the service was terrible. We ordered wine with our dinner, and it didn't come till we were almost finished our meal. Very disappointed with the evening.”

We're visiting Comox area for a vacation from Victoria, and I stopped. in today, and the two staff members were super chill and friendly. Made the sandwich to perfect specifications too. “I missed the ferry and was in a terrible mood. The Griffin Pub was the closest place (so I wouldn’t miss the next ferry), but I will be back every time I’m in the Comox area!

The staff was super welcoming and the regulars were fun. They had a great vibe going on a Sunday with some country music and it filled up when the prime rib dinner special started. I opted for the schnitzel and was very impressed! 5 out of 5 on all fronts, would recommend!”

“Everything you would expect form a Tim Hortons. Drive Through line-up can get crazy long at peak times but it tends to move pretty quick.
