Really enjoyed the hazy and the blonde. Gluten free optiona available too. The bartender, Spencer, is a great guy. Nachoes were excellent, and dogs allowed on the patio!
Came in hungry, thirsty, and a little disoriented after a five-hour hike in the woods, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! They immediately found an iPhone charger for my dead phone, recommended some delicious beers (the hazy IPA and blackberry sour!), and even though the kitchen had technically just closed, they still managed to get us chips and salsa and the most delicious soft pretzel I’ve ever had.

Nice little brewery with great tasting beers and snacks. We were on the patio with our dogs which was great, more than a few others with dogs on the patio!

RAD Brewing Company is a great spot with two outdoor patios offering the best views in the Comox Valley. It has a lively vibe inside and out, with a pretty decent selection of good beer and limited menu options that do the job. The surf board charcuterie platter used to be very generous, but now is about what you might expect. The brewery also offers limited off sales and non-alcoholic options for designated drivers. It is a popular place for gatherings, and staff are helpful and accommodating. Overall, it’s a hidden gem with a welcoming atmosphere and some of the best beer on Vancouver Island.
