“Listed on their sign, is all the flavour varieties, including vegan and gluten free cone options! The people working at the counter are polite and friendly, and the ice cream is always fantastic! I recommend the chocolate coconut, which is vegan, but it’s creamy and delicious and a chocolate lover’s dream. The last time I stopped by, I got their new Lovechild ice cream (caramel + chocolate), it was rich and the caramel mixed with chocolate was marvellous.“
“This is, without a doubt, the best ice cream we have ever had. Just to clarify we live in Banff where apparently the two "best" ice creams places in the country are and they have NOTHING on Blue Spruce and just it's flavors.The young women behind the counter was a total sweetie and let us try a few before we settled on what we wanted. We couldn't make up our mind! Everything was so unique. Most flavors we had not heard of.The Spruce Tip ice cream was so bueno that my husband and I talked about it and compared it to every other ice cream we had for 2 weeks. Whether you live on the island, you're only visiting for a short time, or only there for a few hours to then catch a ferry....make some time for this place and get a double scoop to try two types.WOW! “Tonight we were helped by Cameron, Kameron, not sure how to spell her name but she was AMAZING. I have celiacs and she insisted and going into the back and get a new tub of Gelato to ensure there was no cross contamination. Using new utensils etc, we got 2 litres of Gelato and there were people behind us and she remained calm and engaged in conversation with us. Finding calm and kind customer service now a days is so hard to find and she made it seem effortless. A genuinely hard working woman, cannot give her enough praise for her help!“
