“Visiting Courtney from Vancouver and didn't expect how great this place is! The service was fantastic, and so was the food. The rice was cooked perfectly for me, and all of the fish was fresh. Probably my favourite yam avocado roll (which surprised me, because how much variation can there be, really?), which says a lot about the place.Definitely going to come back next time we're in town!“
“HUGE serve, I wasn't expecting so much great food. All thriller very little filler (plain rice). Some of us took advance of doggy bags to take something home for dinner.Vegetarian options: If you are vego get the vegetable Bento minus miso unless they charge from having fish in it. Tofu was great and had stir fried veg, the salad was incredibly refreshing, tempura had a good mix of veg. Take the rest home for dinner“
“The only downside of our experience was how hot it was in the restaurant. The food and service were great. They are so polite and attentive. Everything tastes amazing. The temperature inside was very warm and we left with flush cheeks and carrying our hoodies and coats.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. “We stopped in for a late lunch November 2023. Place is small and in a grouping of other businesses. The menu has lots of choice besides sushi. Their menus is also posted online. Started with tea, which was nice. I had the assorted tempura with prawns and vegetables with side of miso soup and my hubby had Tropical teriyaki bowl which included miso soup to start. Both were very good! Small cafe restaurant with not too many tables, and we saw some people arriving to do take out. Overall atmosphere was pleasant as was our server. We would definitely go back again.Vegetarian options: Lots of choice if looking for dishes with no meat. The menu is posted online so can check it out ahead of time.Parking: There are a few spots outside of the restaurant, however there are more further along. Angle parking in very small strip mall type location. We managed to get a spot right out front.“
“Super friendly staff. Atmosphere was more of a fast food chain than a restaurant which was fine given I was dining alone and just wanted something quick. Very clean restaurant and bathroom. Food was pretty good (not the best sunomuno) and the presentation was lovely.“

Incredibly quick service, good prices that put every other restaurant in the area to shame and food that never ceases to amaze, Sushi Wara is not just the #1 sushi restaurant, they are the #1 restaurant in town!!!!!!!Vegetarian options: Tofu and Vegetable alternatives for most seafood/meat dishes are lovely, I recommend the spicy agedashi tofu or my personal favourite; the asparagus roll which has delicious deep fried asparagus!“
