Great food, reasonable prices, excellent fast service, super pleasant staff, and the Takoyaki (たこ焼き) was absolutely amazing 👌🥰👍
great food... slow service
Worth going. Fast, friendly service. We started with shrimp tempura: it was very well prepare, fresh, hot and crispy; we shared Thunder roll and French Kiss roll. Both were very good. When in town, we would go back. Prices were normal.

Seh-mi Japanese Restaurant Courtenay offers a welcoming atmosphere and generous seating for large groups. The menu features a variety of delicious noodle dishes, rolls, and sushi. The staff is attentive, despite being busy during dinner hours. Vegetarian options are available, and the restaurant serves some of the best sushi, takoyaki, and agedashi cheese in the area. Customers highly recommend the sockeye salmon sashimi and rolls.
The restaurant is a favorite among locals, known for its fresh and flavorful sushi. The sashimi combo with tempura is a popular choice, with generous portions and delicious presentation. Bento boxes include miso and sunomono, with a variety of other items, showcasing the effort put into the appearance of the dishes.
While the service can be a bit slow at times, it is always pleasant. The ambiance is nice, though it may not be considered five-star. The restaurant offers booth tables, but no tatami rooms. Take-out is also available and highly recommended.
