“Very quick review to say that is is one of the friendliest, nicest Subways I've ever been in. We're visiting Comox area for a vacation from Victoria, and I stopped. in today, and the two staff members were super chill and friendly. Made the sandwich to perfect specifications too. I wish all Subways where this friendly, clean and nice.“

“My first visit to Cooks was back in early 2025 and I enjoyed it. They make a decent burger and the toppings are fresh.

Recently though, I saw someone claim on a local food forum that Cooks serves the best burgers on the Island and I thought to myself that I might be missing something so I returned today for a second look.

I ordered their deluxe burger with double bacon, double cheese and a couple of extra patties. It was delicious but it still didn't stand out as the best burger on the island.

That said, if you're looking for a tasty smash burger and you're in the area, you definitely won't go wrong hitting this place up.“

“I went to Big Wheel Burger last night for the Big Spin event supporting CV Hospice. The staff and management were friendly, the bacon cheese burger was on point with thick cut bacon and grass fed beef! Even the veggies were local! I had a great meal and it was a lot of fun! The staff is extremely patient and understanding and very professional.

“Food is overall almost always fresh fries seemed like they changed a bit thinner burgers are very delicious bacon almost always crispy .Staff wonderful,however most of the time theirs fingerprints on fireplace windows ,garbage on floors and the darn pop tower never works sometimes theirs no ice or it’s out of pop or screen doesn’t work if it was a t.v I would be grumpier and people that are tired and need sugar may feel the same way 🤣“
