“I would like to give a Huge shout out for the Guthrie rd Comox lo action of Subway. I buy a lot of subway subs all around as I work and travel but the Comox location on Guthrie road is hands down the very best Subway I could ever find and I go out of my way and plan ahead just to have a Sub sandwich made by them. They make very clearly the best subs sandwiches I can find! Nit just the most fillings, but that is true. They also make the very nicest made and best laid out subs I could ask for. I have been buying Subway subs for at least 30yrs now and the Comox location is absolutely stellar! Happy people making the very nicest and best subs I have ever had, hands down! Try them out. I guarantee they will make you happy and make you a super good sub sandwich that can be eaten happily and cleanly and simply enjoyed. I have been saying this for some time now and tonight's turkey breast sub is proof positive! Sandwich artists They are and the mood and atmosphere is always happy ajd joyful. Please give all these people a raise, they definitely deserve recognition and applause!“

“Small but nice little spot. Drive thru is fast and inside is always clean when I sit in with my niece. The food is McDonalds so good for what it is, but what’s really great about this location is the staff and customer service. Always fast, friendly, smiling and they always greet me. Happy customer.“

“My first visit to Cooks was back in early 2025 and I enjoyed it. They make a decent burger and the toppings are fresh.

Recently though, I saw someone claim on a local food forum that Cooks serves the best burgers on the Island and I thought to myself that I might be missing something so I returned today for a second look.

I ordered their deluxe burger with double bacon, double cheese and a couple of extra patties. It was delicious but it still didn't stand out as the best burger on the island.

That said, if you're looking for a tasty smash burger and you're in the area, you definitely won't go wrong hitting this place up.“

“I went to Big Wheel Burger last night for the Big Spin event supporting CV Hospice. The staff and management were friendly, the bacon cheese burger was on point with thick cut bacon and grass fed beef! Even the veggies were local! I had a great meal and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend heading down to Big Wheel today! I’ll be back soon for sure!“
