“Gluten-Friendly options!We were unaware of the opening hours when we showed up exactly at closing. The server welcomed us in regardless and we were not rushed. We were treated like valued guests for our entire dining experience. The atmosphere inside was delightful; always something for the eye to discover. Our fish and chips were tasty (we had the salmon, lingcod and the sturgeon respectively) we were happy to find the sturgeon was locally and ethically sourced. The calamari was unique and tasty! The best part was that the batter was gluten-friendly! So hard to find good fish and chips for gluten intolerance! We would definitely recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service and tasty food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-friendly batter!”

“My wife and I took a cooking demonstration class here and it was fantastic. Chef Scott prepared ordinary , everyday food in front of us into an delicious treat for all the senses. His easy banter and incredible knowledge made a few hours fly by. The meal was incredibly good when it was presented. Thank you for this experience, and we will absolutely do this again.Vegetarian options: Chef Scott and his team are very aware and pro active for the dietary needs of their patrons. They make every attempt to fulfill the vegan, vegetarian and gluten free requirements for a great dining experience. They strive as well to reduce their environmental footprint in every way possible. I look forward to dining here again.”

“Our lunch today was amazing! The monte cristo sandwich was fabulous, the raspberry cinnamon buns were to die for, and the service was friendly, fast and efficient! Anytime I am visiting Powell River, Nancy’s Bakery will be on the itinerary!”
