“A delightful small restaurant / cafe with very good coffee, interesting soups, salads, and some veggie entre items. Lovely outside seating as well. Very friendly staff.”
“Spent the weekend on Quadra and got takeout one night for dinner. The service was very quick and staff were very friendly. The food was very good as well.. so good I had to phone them and tell them afterwards. The Cesar dressing is clearly homemade and it was one of the best Cesar salads I've ever had. I also had the cod burger and fish tacos both we're great.I will eat here everytime I'm back in Quadra”
“So good! Great staff and food is delicious. Has a wonderful family & friends vibe. The deli side as amazing looking treats and products. Look forward to every visit!”
“Excellent food, from the Tapsalog to the Soup and sandwich combo. Definitely a good place to eat. We like to support the local small businesses whenever we travel, and this was a great choice. Nice place to eat. We would definitely return when we come back.”
“Comfy atmosphere perfect for dates or on your own ❤️ with pillows, funky art, awesome music, and board games. They serve coffees, teas, specialty drinks, confections, Korean food, ramen! Several gluten free and dairy free options! Tried the carrot cake muffin, very moist and flavorful. "Sarah's coffee" is very decadent and a must-try. The bulgogi rice bowl has such delicious sauces and tender meat! The gf tiramisu cheesecake was so light and smooth too! I've repeatedly come back for the quality of the cupcakes and cakes, they're always so creative and luscious!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options! And they're delicious.”
“Local review - Excellent service, authentic, kind, generous owner. Unique location right on the water. Coffee is solid, organic and roasted in small batches. Stop in and spend some money. Support local!”
“Great place to visit for a pint and a bite to eat. Staff is great and so is the service. The beers are also awesome. ? stop in you won't be disappointed.”
“We pulled in unexpectedly on our way home to comox from a hike. We were just going to grab a coffee but when we saw the menu we were pleasantly surprised especially when we saw the small pamphlet selling Korean take out with the most delicious looking menu! The food did not disappoint from the Korean bowls that were not overpowered spicy sauce and were perfectly balanced flavours and very fresh ingredients. The cheese cake was to die for and the plum tea was so refreshing and unique for me.As I was eating the food, I was too curious to know the story behind the man who prepared it because I knew there was something special there. Jaegseun (Jackson) Yoo told me that his grandfather had escaped northern Korea during the war and that his family had to use Korean cuisine as their only means to survive and make a living in China! I didn’t get a chance to ask much more about his story because he was getting busy and was working the place alone but I will definitely be back to try some of the other delicious looking items in the menu!I hope that Jaegseun has much success in Campbell river and I’d love to see him up his business with some more signage to let people know he sells bubble tea and Korean cuisine and maybe a chance to renovate to make the dine in experience even more cozy with some unique and personalized style and character ? that would bring the whole place together in the most artful way!Vegetarian options: Absolutely delicious and full of subtle yet fresh and rich flavour”
“The croissants and drinks are delicious, service is excellent and friendly, and it is a quiet, comfortable place to sit and indulge! Did I mention the perfection of croissants? The only problem is it’s hard to choose and limit yourself to just 1 or 2.”
“If there’s anything you do while in Campbell River, GO FOR SUSHI HERE.Everything was fresh, flavourful and huge portions! We had 6 different rolls, nigiri, tempura, miso, chicken Katsu and a bento box!I’ve eaten sushi all over this island, and this is the very best!!”
“Very delicious and was copious. They also did a mix with what I wanted for my rolls :)I had mango/avocado rolls + soba beef nuddle. And everything were delicious !People who worked there are kind and everything was perfect”
“I just tried the new veggie bite street tacos ! ? they were really good! They left off the pineapple BBQ sauce because im not into BBQ sauce but the falafel bites go so good with the burrito sauce! And with soft ? corn tortillas they were both vegetarian and gluten free!”
“The fish & chips and deep fried pickles here are delicious, fresh and not overly greasy.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is located on a water dock, the only access is down one of the two ramps and along the dock.”
“What a cute hidden gem! If you need to grab a breaky bite in the area the prices are super reasonable and everything is made with love. Very homey and welcoming. Feels like having a meal at your Moms or Grans kitchen ??”
“VEGAN food made with care in an old school diner. Seriously amazing vegan options for breakfast lunch or dinner. Don’t judge this place from the outside because it’s super clean and nostalgic inside. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Vegans have an awesome option when in Campbell River. Highly recommend. Arrive early as it fills up quickly and you will be waiting.Dietary restrictions: Vegan”
“Great breakfast/ brunch/ lunch menu. Visiting from out of town and tried it on a whim as we didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant. We had the pork schnitzel and were pleasantly surprised to find it was actually a freshly made schnitzel, not a pre-made frozen one like you find almost everywhere. We also had the Bannock Benedict, a super cool twist on the classic version with awesome hollandaise. Really friendly staff, fast and fresh and delicious.”
“Great food, great service, staff was friendly and quick. Highly recommend the mini egg cheese cake and the walnut sausage pizza.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options, the walnut sausage pizza was excellent, highly recommended.”
“Love this place. Great food. I only gave 4 stars for service because it gets very busy. It Is so popular with the locals and it is seasonal, so there is often a wait. Unfortunately this is not something they can easily control. I just make sure I allow time to accommodate the wait times. Great West Coast vibe”
“We are visiting Campbell River from out of town and stumbled upon this place and we are so glad we did! Service, food, drinks, dessert, literally all 10/10. Would definitely recommend!”
“Went around lunch time and seems to be a very busy place which was a good sign! It's quite cold inside though so make sure you have at least a sweater or you'll be freezing. The food was filling and pretty tasty and my partner and I both had leftovers. Because of how cold it was inside it felt like it cooled the food down quickly, so my veggie teriyaki wasn't very warm and my edamames tasted like room temperature which was slightly disappointing but they still tasted fine. They had very flavourful rolls though! Probably one of the best avocado rolls for flavour they were perfect and my partner said he had some really flavourful rolls too. Comparable pricing to other sushi places and nice big menu with many options.”
“What a yummy place to go for breakfast ? If you are a waffle fan, this is your slice of heaven ? The bubble waffle was quite unique with a nice flavour and a bit of a crunch. The Belgian waffle was delicious ? I'll return on a future trip for sure!”
“We make a point of stopping here when passing through in the evening :) They don’t open until 4:30.Feels like authentic Chinese food- very deep and earthy flavours. The spicy eggplant dish is so delicate it’s delightful! The service isn’t embellished, but it is quick and you get what you want.Great dinner stop ??”
“Baba Ganoush restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its diverse range of Middle Eastern delights. The vegetarian platter, featuring Fattoush and Tabouleh salad, homemade hummus, baba gannouj, Muhamara dips, and Falafels, was a symphony of flavors. Each component was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, making it a true feast for the senses. While the beef Shawermas wrap was a standout with its tender meat and aromatic spices, the chicken Shawermas wrap surprised with its unique twist, showcasing innovative flavors that set it apart from traditional offerings.Overall, Baba Ganoush is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Middle Eastern cuisine served with a touch of creativity.Embark on a Flavorful Journey at Baba Ganoush Restaurant - My Wholehearted Recommendation! ❤️”
“Fresh and delicious food with the most friendly staff! Their selection of breads is too good to pass up. The soup and rueben were also to die for. Will definitely be back.”
“I consider myself to be a connoisseur of Apple Fritters, having sampled the vast majority of opportunities in Western Canada. These are the best. Hands down. Not too sweet or greasy, light, large (bigger than my hand), flavourful and cinnamon to apple is pretty close to perfect (I prefer stronger cinnamon but that's for me).Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance, no auto door though.”
“This place is as good as most Indian restaurants in Surrey. There are not many great restaurants in CR but this is one of them. One of the best Indian restaurants on the Island and definitely a treat. The food is amazing here and everything I tried is just delicious. Naan bread, samosa, curries, rice dishes and mango lassie. The service is very nice and attentive which is way better than you get in Surrey. The restaurant decor and atmosphere is solid and feels cosy. I definitely recommend it if you are in the area!”
“Best cheesecake I've ever tasted!! I can't wait to try the rest of the flavours!! It's super creamy and rich but also light some how. I can't wait to eat more. I'll be ”
“My partner and I have eaten at an influx of high end restaurants across the globe. This was BY far our favourite. The food was incredible, the waitress was extremely personable and professional and the log building itself was stunning. We will absolutely be coming back to Campbell river and staying here just to enjoy this restaurant again.”
“We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the food was incredibly authentic and delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality and taste of the dishes. Moreover, the ambiance was perfect, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. An added bonus was the easy parking, making the overall experience even more convenient. I'll definitely be visiting this place more often!Parking: In front of the restaurant.”
