Disappointing. Bought a $20.00 ticket to wine Wednesday with a band. Don't know why we bothered to buy a ticket as no one came to check or ask. We thought there would be appies included and or 1 glass of wine. Our expectations I guess were to high. Oh well, no need to go back.
When we arrived to pick up a bottle or two of wine, I waited in line behind a group that was tasting several bottles at the register. I waited a good 10 minutes just standing there. It actually started to get awkward because eye contact was made several times. I started to put the bottles back and go to a liquor store. It was only after 4 more groups came in and waited to check out that the person finally checked me out. We didn’t like the darker white wine, it was too acidic...
I had the opportunity to visit and enjoy this venue to see live entertainment and drink their delicious wine. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings are stunning. If you get the chance, go and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will love it!
