Went with my father a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since! Since moving to the island we have been looking for a good sushi place and AHRA has been the best by far! Fresh, delicious and worth every penny. Will be back soon and definitely recommend!

I've tried this place after looking at the reviews and I will say the services very friendly and accommodating. It's a small cute place and the food was decent. I will say I ordered the chicken donburi and I was kind of dissatisfied with how little chicken they actually give you. They give me an equivalent of 3 chicken nuggets worth of meat. I spent about $46 on the mail and other than that chicken and the one prawn tempura I didn't really see how it justified the price. Like I said very friendly good service but stingy on meat.

Our favourite sushi restaurant in the Valley! Great food, great prices, lovely staff. The only downside is that they don't have a liquor license, so no sake with your sushi, but that's minor. Very small restaurant, so if you're going in with more than four people you should definitely get a reservation.

First time here. It's head and tails above the usual filling stations I've eaten at locally.Comox has an issue with Asian food. It's generally dumbed down and comes across at food court fair.I'm not saying the Japanese restaraunts in the Valley are horrible. Their not. Their OK. On the same level you'd get at a bargain outfit in Vancouver . Ahra is different . It's better and is punching well beyond its weight for the area. As an example . Tempura. Something I go out for and don't mind paying a premium for when it's surprises you. And it does.The Nigiri was also on par with anything you'd get in a place with serious competition. The rolls were also great as part of the seafood combo.The portions aren't huge if your a big eater so order more. Prices are in line with the area. Give it a try. Well worth supporting this business in their attempt to elevate this cuisine in the area . 8/10
Nice space, calm and clean atmosphere. Ordered various rolls, the mixed tempura, and the agedashi dofu. All was decidedly delicious! The tempura, fantastically crispy and well portioned.Would happily dine here again.

Sushi Role deep fried was very nice, also our appetizers, staff has been very friendly. Restaurant is rather small and nice place to have dinner. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. Can definitely recommend it.
