Delicious comfort German food and exceptional service! Extra cozy atmosphere if you snag the circle booth near the bar. We went here on a Monday evening and it was unexpectedly busy - but our servers were so kind and attentive nonetheless. We were celebrating a birthday and were presently surprised that they gave us a complimentary dessert. A lovely neighborhood spot, we'll be back!

We have had a great family dinner at the Avenue. Great service with delicious schnitzel and a very reasonably priced bottle of red wine. Always like to dine at a locally owned spot. We will return!

A brilliant find on our visit to ‘The Island’. Friendly and attentive service, great beers from the local Ace Brewery ( my wife enjoyed the house Sauvignon Blanc too). The food was incredible: obviously fresh and perfectly prepared. Utterly delicious and thoroughly recommended. Well worth the short journey from the centre of Comox. Eat there as soon as you can!
