Update: My kids had free coupons so we came back. I had the chilli chocolate and it was really good! The kids all enjoyed their cones too!Previous: Not as good as I remembered. Gelato was full of ice crystals not smooth and the portions are tiny for the price. ?

I ordered the Chicken ceasars panni. Benino missed an opportunity for a great sandwich. It was boring, bland and disappointing. The Chicken was dry. There was one piece of chewy bacon and pertty much no flavor. My partner ordered the pulled pork, it too was disappointing, for the size of sandwich they were over-priced. The cappuccinos where passable but not the best I have had. We will be trying another option next time we are in Comox.

Almost all the flavours were sold out and they were sickly sweet. Tasted quite low quality unfortunately and they just use a lot of sugar versus fresh ingredients. It made me feel sick. For $15 it was really disappointing and they put sprinkles on my coffee which added to the yuck. I think this place needs to get back to basics and if you are going to charge so much you need to provide quality.

The food, coffee, and ice cream are all very tasty and this place has the potential to be a great spot, but they were extremely understaffed and made waiting for two crepes, a panini, and a cup of coffee inconvenient. We waited easily over 45 minutes for our simple order to be brought to us. We had to remind them we were waiting for food at least 3 times. I felt bad for the cashier and the barista because I knew they were understaffed, this comes down to management, not them

Nice food selection, but please pay attention to the customer in front of you. Mistakes happen but it’s frustrating to check in 1-2 times only to request my money back after 25 mins of waiting for something that wasn’t even started. Kids enjoyed their gelato, which they got after you served the order placed after us, first.

Decent price for food and coffee, about $14 for their breakfast sandwhich and a 12oz Iced latte-- a good selection of Vegan & Gluten Free options too. I loved the taste of their espresso, and would suggest ordering their Americano if you want a nice, smooth, cup of coffee to pair with a baked good of your choice. Overall, the place is amazing, and the staff are always so friendly and inviting.
