Hidden gem for sure! Absolutely delicious spicy pork highly recommend! Staff was super warm and welcoming and an awesome selection of fun korean foods, snacks and drinks. The spicy chicken turtle chips were a surprise hit! Our whole experience was a great one. I just wish we got pictures of our great food to show you.

We had the beef noodle bowl last night and it was outstanding! one of the tastiest meals all in one bowl I've ever had. We are already planning when we can pop in to try something else however it will be hard not to revisit the beef dish 😋💙

Garlic & Pepper Eatery serves the best food in the valley, with every bite a delight. This restaurant's chefs are skilled, with the ability to deliver hot, high-quality food even after a 20-minute journey. The owners offer excellent dishes, including spicy pork and veggies, and kimbap, all at reasonable prices. The neighborhood around the new location is reminiscent of a mini Granville Island in Van. Many visitors find the food never disappoints; the Kimbap is perfect when you're hungry but don't need much, and the bibimbap and spicy pork have just the right spice level, tasting super fresh. The eatery also offers natto, pre-portioned Banchan, and a good selection of instant Ramen. It is a small gem of a place with a great selection of Asian goodies you can't find elsewhere in the valley. The cooked food, especially the beef bulgogi, is amazing. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, making it a highly recommended spot for those seeking quality Asian cuisine.
