I was so excited to hear about this place opening and finally went tonight. Im happy to say that my high expectations were exceeded. The vibe, service and food were all 10/10. I have tried the odd oyster before and never really enjoyed them like I did here. It was delightful to sit at the bar and have one of the owners shucking the oysters and prepping our dinner right in front of us, with lots of fun info and banter along the way. The way the bar’s setup made makes for a social dinner experience easy to chat with people next to you. So refreshing to see a hip place like this in the comox valley. Would reccomend for a fun dinner with friends or a great date night. We had the crude and shrimp roll along with the oysters and everything was so fresh and delicious. House made hot sauces were delicious too

What a gem of a place! Finally a place to go here in the valley that serves fresh made, great food! Not Sysco slop like the rest… we were lucky enough to have the special which was bone marrow… absolutely amazing!The oysters were some of the best we have ever had…super fresh…this isn’t a place to go if you want piles of food, but it’s great for small plates and cocktails.. everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It is a small space with no reservations so you may have a bit of a wait but it is worth it!Well done to the owners, hope they keep it up!

Great atmosphere and staff... our meals were good...we tried other things that they offer besides oysters...my hubby thinks they should add oyster shots with a raw oyster with tequila or VodkaWe will be back.

Everything here was excellent. The Caesar Salad was the best I’ve ever had - not exaggerating- and I think this salad is a fair gauge on how a restaurant is as a whole. Also the porchetta which was on special was virtually perfect execution of flavours , textures and contrasts (house pickles).Will be back again !

Had an amazing time at Gigi's Oyster Bar with my wife. We sat at the bar where Paul, one of the owners, was working. He was super friendly and on point with service. The oysters? Absolutely fresh and delicious. Seriously, if you're into seafood, you've gotta check this place out.

I brought my staff here for our annual appreciation dinner. Small space with few tables thankfully we were a group of four and got a table right away. We loved the small casual setting right away it was comfortable and not pretentious. Our server attended to us very promptly for our drink orders and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. They provided us with amazing cocktails and mock tails. We then ordered many menu items that all came promptly and with intent and we all agreed that we could not pick our favourite it was all incredible! Amazing prices, very high quality taste and presentation. The whole experience was very genuine, authentic, and relaxed. Definitely my best restaurant and food experience in 6 and a half years since moving to the comox valley from Victoria . Keep up the good work! And thank you for bringing this dining magic to the comox valley!
