Had a lovely dinner here on Saturday night. Place is very cute and cozy inside. Service from Erin was very good. We had the schnitzel and the seafood linguine and both were excellent. It was very busy and I would recommend reservations.
Went for the first time a couple weeks ago with my uncle to celebrate my mom moving here. I had the lamb shank which had more fat than meat and was very bland. I love lamb and was very disappointed, the beets were better than the meat. My mom didn't finish her schnitzel, it was caked in thyme. We won't be back, way over hyped and priced for sub par food. Blackfin is the place to go in Comox for a great dinner

The liver was not liver, did not come close in taste and texture. My husband had a turkey snitzel which was very small for the price and no mushroom gravy. Would not go back there again.

Absolutely delicious food! Our group shared the fresh steamed clams (amazing white wine sauce) and bitter ballen (paired perfectly with the Dijon mustard). For our mains we had the baked pesto sockeye salmon and turkey schnitzel off the fresh sheet and stuffed chicken breast and the lamb chops off the menu, it was all very good and satisfying! As for the restaurant, could definitely use an update and AC in the building, it was boilinggggg!

One of the absolute best seafood meals I've ever eaten. Came to the island on a trip to see family and asked my brother where the best spot for great seafood eould be and he suggested Martines. It was the best decision! We had the tiger prawns, and the calamari was recommend to us by the server as an appetizer. He was right, best I've had in town. My sister and I shared the Ahi Tuna and Red Snapper dishes and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. I will think about that tuna forever! Our server was fantastic, he gave great recommendations and was incredibly prompt and charming. The atmosphere was also incredible and just added to an overall top notch dining experience.
