This fantastic little restaurant has become a special spot for our family! The food quality is absolutely perfect (the palak paneer and the tandoori chicken are incredible!), the portions are big, and the staff is welcoming. Even though this is a chain restaurant, the staff, servers and cooks are proud of their venue, and it transpires in all aspects! Best local Indian food in Comox!

The flavors were absolutely authentic and robust. The biryani was fragrant with perfectly cooked rice and prawns, and the tikka masala sauce was so good we didn't waste a drop. Portions are generous and great value for money.

Ordered butter chicken. Sauce was tasty and good consistency, but the chicken was very dry - really inedible. I mentioned this to the server and she said, 'oh dear', but that was it. I was given no assurance that this feedback was receives and would be acted on. The quality and consistency at Spice Hut has really declined in recent years. A shame.

We ordered Dal tadka for a takeout. The dal was on a sweeter side not sure why! And the second side it costed around 18.some cents. Like for a simple Dal to be $18 thats too pricey. And on the top of the high price, the portion was small. Not recommended!!
