My son and I always love going to the Flying Apron. I haven't found a comparable bakery back home and we never miss the opportunity! They are always welcoming, great staff, wonderful baked goods and an all around wonderful experience. I highly recommend to anyone in the area or visiting.

An excellent selection of freshly baked goods; breads, scones, cookies, muffins and cakes. The variety makes it hard to choose! The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Just got a bunch of baked goods dropped off for us at work. The employees and guests delved in and just melted. So beautiful, extremely tasty and fresh! Can't wait to check out the shop!

This has become my favourite place for coffee! Their baked goods and pastries are very fresh and recently I ordered the chocolate raspberry cake and it was so delicious! The staff make it special though. Arlene and Sion you ladies rock! It would be great if seat cushions were available for the outdoor chairs. Also I find the inside can be noisey (cement floors, high ceilings, coffee machine noise). Any way you can buffer some of that noise? What about hanging textured rugs on the walls for décor rather than the art for sale? Just a thought! I believe a lot of people would appreciate that.

Stopped by looking for a cake & came away with a fantastic cheese cake and muffins. Both were excellent & the muffins (eaten the next day) were the best I've bought in a long time. Definitely a stop next time we're in town.

Drove from Campbell River to try this place out and it did not disappoint! The selection was large and everything tasted amazing! We will be back!

I needed a beautiful cake for my Mom-in-law's 90th birthday. I consulted the website's photo gallery and emailed Kayla with a list of things that I hoped to see in my cake. Kayla was so accommodating and friendly and, in the end, she provided a beautiful cake which exceeded my expectations. I am a cake baker myself so I was thrilled to find a bakery that uses quality ingredients, like homemade lemon curd, and an excellent meringue buttercream (so much better than a heavy American buttercream btw). Everyone loved the cake and the plates came back empty. We also enjoyed coffees and other baking (including delicious gluten-free options!) during our weeklong visit and look forward to returning whenever we get the chance to visit Comox.

Dietary restrictions: The Flying Apron offers some beautiful gluten-free options, including cakes. And don't overlook the yummy cheese buns.

My first time here and I understand it's a very popular coffee/bakery shop. If what I tried, the cherry mango New York cheesecake, is any indication then I can understand why. Delicious!
