Stopped by for lunch on a rainy Saturday in November. It wasn't busy when we arrived and the service was prompt and friendly. The salmon burger and fries were excellent; it was wild caught salmon and was perfectly cooked. My friend had the burger and fries and that was also very good size portion and tasty. The island farms ice cream was very good as well and the scoops are really big. We also ordered americanos and they were excellent. Don't let the quirky statues and carvings deter you from stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee or ice cream.

Terrible service, they didn't seem to want to be there and ruined the experience. Ice cream portions are good and tasty, but I would not visit this store again. Perhaps the owners or servers should cheer up and recognize that the people who visit their store are the reason they have a business.
Also, strange sexual wooden carvings fill one side of the store... Odd.

I had a mixed experience at the store. The male staff absolutely deserves 5 stars—he was friendly, professional, and provided great service. Unfortunately, the female staff had the opposite approach. When she came to the counter, she started with an audible sigh, and when I thanked her for her service, she looked at me like she wasn’t sure why she was even there. It felt like she hated being at the store! Perhaps both are owners, but it sure seems like one of them isn't too fond of the place.

Staff was very rude. The environment seemed dirty. The food is not good. I wouldn't recommend anything about this place. Hope they make some changes. But don't plan on coming back.

The food was ridiculous small portion. The chicken burger came with a grose onion sause and the breast was cut into a third of a breast which didn't even fill half if the bun. The bun was no where near fresh. The price is very high and the food is very low quality. No service skills at all. The person at the till bearly understands what a chicken burger is when ordered. Also order fries and was asked do you want a small fries? I ask di you have a large? Answer is no only small. We'll ffs if that's the only size then why ask if I would like small? No quality no care don't nearly understand English and way too expensive.
I almost got hit by a car driving in, once I got there and ordered I questioned if I did get hit by the car and this was hell.
If I could recommend anything to this place it would be to close permanently. Food was horrendous, ham is not bacon, fries are not supposed to be damp and gravy is not supposed to be as viscous as water. Veggie burgers are often oddly coloured but it’s scary to see grey and green.
This made me lose faith in society. On the bright side everything else in life will be better than this.

Super disappointed that you have switched from Island farms to chapman's ice-cream. Why would you ship 'lesser than' ice-cream 4500km when we have a great local company. I thought you were more local supporting with farmers etc.
