“We stopped for dinner without a reservation and had our choice of tables in the patio. The service was good and our waiter was friendly and welcoming. The best part was the pizza. It was the best we have ever had in a restaurant.

UPDATED We were back and this time had pasta. And it was also some of the best we have ever had. Service was top notch. We We 🩷 Cuckoo. We are here for another week. We will likely be back.”

“Big patio, nice area. Good ice cream, big scoops, tourist prices, nice presentation on the Gelato in the cooler. Went in June and it was busy. I bet its bonkers in July-August. Seats very small but sturdy on patio, might not be comfortable for over 250lb. Bring your own chair, i dont think anyone would mind.”

“Amazing products and service! Bought 2 pieces of cheesecake here - the lemon curd (recommended) and plain - and both are decadent!! Best cheesecake I have ever purchased from a store. And, the oatmeal raisin cookies taste like the ones one makes at home - and they were not overly sweet . Perfect. The service was friendly, helpful and kind. Will go back - when in the area - and look forward to the cinnamon buns next - they were already sold out for the day and we were there before noon!”

“First time there tonight July 1-2023to celebrate birthdays. Alley the owner was so gracious and had the best personality!! The food was absolutely delicious! We started with crab cakes they were so good! Then I had the seafood pasta the amount of scallops prawns was awesome they definitely weren't skimpy on the seafood and the presentation was great! Then the dessert we had a free birthday dessert which was the sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream! The service was good, friendly, fast and the establishment was clean! Highly recommend this place ❤️”

“4 of us went there last week (2 from Comox and 2 from Nanaimo) and the food was incredible. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. We just wish we weren’t so rushed, it really took away from our night out. We were told we only had 1.5 hrs which was no problem. She reminded us continuously throughout the meal and after an hr asked us if we were ready for our bill. We told her we were thinking about having a dessert (which was pre-made) and she sighed and looked at her watch! She brought the dessert and we scarfed it so fast and just got out of there. We tipped well because who knows if the pressure was coming from the kitchen, but we left with 20 mins to spare and a whole lot of empty tables there. Recommend if you aren’t meeting others and are in a hurry.”

But I am a baker and I can tell quality and good ingredients when I taste it. These are real donuts. Fresh daily, homemade with real ingredients. With every bite you can taste a bygone era when bakery items were made from scratch, made with pride and quality. This place is an outing, an event. Take your family and friends for a treat and have fun sharing these amazing goodies.”
