I ordered an iced hazelnut coffee and a scone. Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing — it lacked a strong coffee flavor and was overwhelmed by an artificial syrup taste. A simple black coffee might fare better since it’s less masked by additives.
The scone was also not what I expected. Instead of being rich and crumbly, it was dry and tasted more like plain bread.
This will likely be my only visit. With so many competitors offering quality coffee and baked goods, consistency and authenticity are crucial. Customers who genuinely enjoy coffee will look elsewhere. If the goal is simply to provide a casual hangout space for teenagers, then the current approach may work — but if you want to attract and retain true coffee lovers, improvement is necessary.

The first time we dine in for mango snow ice today Aug.4,2025 . The cashier was extremely rude and impolite! The food(snow ice) is not worth for money especially the mango was not good, it’s not ripe!! Very bad experience at this Cafe Bono, We will never go again!!!!!😤👎🏻

I ordered a red bean shaved ice, but there were barely any red beans. It ended up feeling like I was just eating milk-flavored shaved ice. Is it really fair to serve that tiny amount of red bean for $18? I was really disappointed.

I came in to pick up a few small pieces of cake, and unfortunately, the service was disappointing. After I paid, the two staff members behind the counter were more focused on chatting with each other than helping me. It took much longer than it should have to package just three pieces of cake, and it felt like I was being ignored in the process. I’m not sure if it was because I didn’t leave a tip, which is ridiculous to expect for a simple takeout order. But it really seemed like customer service wasn’t a priority. When my order was finally handed to me, there was no acknowledgment, no “thank you” or “have a nice day.” She simply handed me the box and went back to chatting with her friend. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect basic professionalism and politeness in any service setting, especially at a cafe.

The waitress was very rude. She kept looking at us while we were looking at the cakes/ menu and was not friendly at all. Her face was stern as if she were rushing us.
Then my friend decided and asked me to take his order (he wanted to go to the washroom first). I walked to the ordering table, but the waitress walked out a few steps to check if my friend had gone to the washroom ~ (she seemed very concerned about someone using their washroom with no order made)
This is very rude, I'm at the ordering table but you don't come to order, you care about whether others are going to the washroom!! And she wasn't embarrassed to see me waiting for her. Again, she had NO smile at all.
!!!!!! If you care so much about the washroom, why not lock it? !! Moreover, there is actually a free-use washroom in the supermarket opposite…
The food and drinks were average but I didn't think it was necessary to come.

It wasn't sweet, It didn't taste like Tiramisu, and It didn't have Tiramisu on it even tho they sell Tiramisu cake.
It if had more whip cream, that would have helped a Lot! But only a tiny little amount. Like eating spoonfuls of just ice with sprinkled with cheese cake pieces? The pices were decent.
The bowl was shaped to make it hard to get it on the spoon.
A spoon of life cream could have helped, or the actual Tiramisu cake. Maybe a drizzle of something sweet.
The rest of everything here looks good tho. The gangster rap music didn't suit the vibe or customers, lol.

Next time, I gave a tip, and it was just that service. What are you going to do? I bought a few cakes here, and the Korean woman who works every time she buys it was so rude and not good. There are a lot of kind Koreans, so I hope you hire them well. I really don't want to go again and recommend them. If you want a tip that much, do something else. I'm not going to go again because I'm in a bad mood. The cake was delicious and the drink was just that. The service was the worst, so my personality itself doesn't look good. I can't feel the reason to go to all these cafes..

I tried so many different kinds of cake here.. A little sweeter than my liking. But they are very good. The only one that I won't buy again is the one has grapefruit in it. It tastes bitter .

Extremely disturbing service by the server who just threw the folded paper cup holder at me. It took a long time to get the drinks and it seemed like she was pissed at us for having a busy day. Not going there ever again.
