Menus were poorly displayed with very small letters printed on a piece of paper near front counter which was hard to read. And when my friend and I were deciding what to get, both servers were just standing and silently staring (or glaring) at us which I found unnecessarily inappropriate. Disgusted.

Disappointing experience overall

I live nearby, and today was my first time visiting this Korean-style café. The interior is bright, clean, and very inviting. All the cakes displayed at the counter looked delicious—although I didn’t try any this time, I definitely want to come back and taste them next time.

The staff at the front counter was friendly and attentive. When the shop wasn’t busy, I asked her a few questions about Korean beauty products, and she was very helpful and patient in answering them.

Overall, it’s a place I’d love to visit again.

I loveeeeee it

Such a cozy and calm place. The croissant was way better than I expected. They have so many cakes that all look amazing, and the staff even recommended one when I couldn’t decide

I visited today (Nov 5, around 2pm), and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the cashier. She seemed dismissive and unfriendly, which made the overall visit unpleasant. This café used to be one of my favorites for cake and lattes, but after today, I won’t be returning. There are other great cafés nearby in Hannam that offer better service

I love their mini cakes, they’re so tasty, at least the ones I’ve tried so far. I recently had the strawberry matcha latte, which was also delicious! I really liked that it had strawberry chunks instead of just syrup like most other cafés.

Paid $8 for a Chocolate Matcha Latte and it tastes horrible..either they use reallly low quality matcha or it’s old and gone bad.

Cute selection of cakes.

I tried their Iced Latte and Cookie and it’s pretty decent for the price. The ambiance is very neat and cozy. A very nice place to meet up with friends and just chill.

Wish they had whole milk instead of 2%, latte would taste so much better. Barista was super nice and made my sunday morning, for sure.

I ordered an iced hazelnut coffee and a scone. Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing — it lacked a strong coffee flavor and was overwhelmed by an artificial syrup taste. A simple black coffee might fare better since it’s less masked by additives.

The scone was also not what I expected. Instead of being rich and crumbly, it was dry and tasted more like plain bread.

This will likely be my only visit. With so many competitors offering quality coffee and baked goods, consistency and authenticity are crucial. Customers who genuinely enjoy coffee will look elsewhere. If the goal is simply to provide a casual hangout space for teenagers, then the current approach may work — but if you want to attract and retain true coffee lovers, improvement is necessary.

The first time we dine in for mango snow ice today Aug.4,2025 . The cashier was extremely rude and impolite! The food(snow ice) is not worth for money especially the mango was not good, it’s not ripe!!
Very bad experience at this Cafe Bono, We will never go again!!!!!😤👎🏻

I ordered a red bean shaved ice, but there were barely any red beans. It ended up feeling like I was just eating milk-flavored shaved ice. Is it really fair to serve that tiny amount of red bean for $18? I was really disappointed.
