Plus, this is one of only three locations I know that still serves their root beer in a glass mug. There's usually a special deal advertised on the board outside that is better than the coupons I get in the mail.”

“Mom and I eat here all the time. It's our favorite place, the staff, the food the atmosphere is always top notch! Tonight was proof of why we go here. Friday is rib night, full rack was $30 and comes with spaghetti, ceaser salad and garlic toast.... however what a shocker they have slashed the cost to $19.... why simply because of Trump's Tarrifs and they want to give back to their patrons by lowering prices so we eat local.... This place just proved how awesome Canadians can be! You continue to raise the bar! Everyone must try this place out if you haven't already 💓💓💓💓💓”

I ordered a custom bowl with Spicy Salmon. large portions, fresh ingredients and tastes amazing. I ordered extra sauce and im glad as was lacking a bit orginally BUT that might be how they are and im just picky.”

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.”

There are also vegetarian options available- tofu, and Brussels sprouts and kale.”

The Big Plate Chicken (大盘鸡) was another highlight, with a generous amount of tender, meaty chicken and a rich, flavorful chicken taste. I mostly order online, and my smoothie is ALWAYS perfect. It travels so well and arrives thick, fresh, and delicious every single time. I’ve also visited in person, and the team is always super kind, welcoming, and helpful when explaining different products and add-ins.

My go-to order is the Berry Delicious with added avocado, strawberries, powdered peanut butter, and Udo’s Oil = perfection!!! My partner loves the Maca Rush with whey protein.

Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. “Wow, listen I was out of country for 2 weeks so this was my first sushi in just as long. Im a sashimi pig. Let's just call it what it is 😂 pretty much everywhere i order a full order of salmon sashimi it runs me 18 bucks. Ish. This was 22. Im not familiar with the place. I ordered cpl other things, but given the smaller avg size of most orders of sashimi, i threw on a,Cali roll to fill out the order so i wouldn't be hungry again an an hour. Man,was that a mistake! This salmon sashimi order was 9 thick pieces and musta been the whole salmon loin. You guys are now my new go to in Coquitlam. Thank you ever so much! That is 2 meals worth of sushi i just ordered for pickup as it turns out. Fresh, thick luscious salmon.”

“This is not a paid/sponsored review. Visited May 31’26, my first time. We were greeted and got our table near the window. Ordered the towering onion rings, two kids meal, a platter entree (Two For You) and Madlove burger.
The whiskey river bbq chicken breast was ok although not as I expected. It was a bit oily not bbq-ed. Also it was a small chicken breast. My son liked the madlove burger, so i just take his word for that.
Seems the staff were overwhelmed - although seat was not full house. It took a while for us get our drinks and the onion ring. It took a while as well to hail the server to get us our refill and napkin. I guessed this is typical for this kind of restaurant. Toilet was clean when I used it.”

I love spice but not drenched so it was dripping. I spoke to the amazing waiter, not to complain but to ask how it was received by others. She had a great suggestion, order the sauce on the side. Then the chicken maintains its crispy crunch .”
