“​Been coming here since 2021 and it never disappoints. The Chick Peas Chongqing Noodles are my absolute favorite, and their Beef Tendon Noodle is super great too. The hand-pulled noodles are so chewy and the portions are huge! I also loved the Spicy Tofu and Bamboo Shoots... everything tasted fresh and authentic. ​The best part? They still serve the complimentary dessert jelly, which is such a nice thing!

It’s right across from Coquitlam Centre, clean, and the staff are always friendly. If you want a hearty, delicious meal that’s actually worth the price, this is the spot!”

McDonald's at Lansdowne/Barnet Hwy. is still my favorite stop, staff are nice, convenient location. Like best it has the Expresso coffee machine, not every location has it! Parking is so so, a little hard to get a spot on the weekends”

“The restaurant is conveniently located near North Road and Austin Avenue intersection just on the opposite side of The City of Lougheed neighborhood and easy accessible by car. Drive thru ordering and curbside pickup options are available, however, customers parking is small due to land plot size limitations. The facility is clean and works long hours. Order pick-up timeframe is reasonable and depends on time of the day.”

“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek”

“My favourite bar. They have a calendar of events on the website. Trivia nights, sports, barbeques, live music. Friday and saturday nights are great if you want a busy dance floor with a DJ without going into vancouver.
Karaoke starts 8:30 every Sunday night. The MC, Peter, is the heart of the night. He creates a carefree environment that celebrates everyone. Great for first timers and confident singers.
The staff are incredible, 10/10. The bartenders are so focused and friendly in their interactions with you no matter how busy they are. The servers deserve all the credit in the world. They handle the crowds and the rushes with grace, positivity, and efficiency.

With a highly responsive shipping team and high-value pricing, they are outperforming the competition in every category - AND they don't spam you with emails after and their staff are all super friendly and helpful and not condescending. It's nice that their website and shipping just works - not complicated, they don't post product not available - they don't waste your time.”

“This gem is a must try! The restaurant is a bit small but the food is pretty darn good. We loved everything from bibimbap, kimbap and most of all we loved the carbonara. Never thought we would enjoy carbonara in a Korean place but the chef apparently specialized in Italian cuisine in Korea. Daniel the chef is a genuinely nice guy and great with my toddler. Will come back again. I highly recommend this place!”

Friday is rib night, full rack was $30 and comes with spaghetti, ceaser salad and garlic toast.... however what a shocker they have slashed the cost to $19.... why simply because of Trump's Tarrifs and they want to give back to their patrons by lowering prices so we eat local.... This place just proved how awesome Canadians can be! You continue to raise the bar! Everyone must try this place out if you haven't already 💓💓💓💓💓”

“Tucked away in a strip plaza you will find wonderful noodle dishes accompanied by beef, beef tendon and other fresh ingredients. The somewhat small menu is purposely so, to allow diners to enjoy what this restaurant does best wholesome food without the use of chemical soup bases, msg and fake additives. Every bowl of soup is crafted the ancient, traditional way.

I ordered the beef and tendon noodle soup. It came to the table nice and piping hot, overflowing with juicy pieces of beef and tendon with heapfuls of noodles. Also ordered was the Noodle and minced pork sauce and noodle with braised beef. Every dish was flavoured well, without being overly salted and minimal oil. The portions were also great value for the size. Our destination for beef noodle soup has been established for years to come with this establishment.

Thank you for such lovely service, being tended to the perfect amount of times. The atmosphere lacks a television and relaxing musical melodies surrounded the air. The dining room is well spaced out between tables and the surprise of real African violets and other plants growing along the side make this place feel both homely and inviting.”

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.”

“I recently discovered this magnificent sushi restaurant near my home. I've never experienced fresher sushi before. Their raw oysters are divine. And the sockeye salmon sashimi is unbelievable. My server (Rose) is a sweetheart who is friendly and polite. The music is a little on the loud side but the genre of the music is enjoyable. I'm going to make this sushi restaurant my regular place from now on.”

Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. It's such a warm and welcoming feeling when they greet you personally or already know what you had like, especially the one who mostly took my orders always has a very friendly smile and has too much patience while dealing with customers. “Met for lunch with a friend at Gordon Ramsay Burger. I didn't expect anything but I was very impressed by the attentive service and the outstanding blue cheese burger I had. “I had a really great experience at Sushi California in Coquitlam! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean, comfortable, and nicely designed with a cozy modern Japanese vibe, making it a great place for both casual dining and gatherings with friends or family.

The service was excellent throughout the entire meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff were still very friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food came out quickly, and everything was beautifully presented.

We ordered a variety of sushi, tempura, and miso soup, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The salmon was buttery and smooth, the shrimp and octopus were fresh with great texture, and the sushi portions were generous. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The tempura was also one of my favorite dishes — perfectly crispy, light, and not greasy at all. The vegetables and shrimp still tasted sweet and fresh inside the batter. The miso soup was flavorful and comforting without being overly salty.

What impressed me most was how they balanced quality, portion size, price, and service so well. It’s hard to find a place that does all of these consistently. No wonder this place is always busy! Overall, this is definitely a restaurant I would come back to again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh sushi and authentic Japanese food!”
