“Best Ling Cod and Chips i have had in a long time. Very crisp tempura like batter, not greasy. Large thick portions of very fresh Ling Cod that melted in your mouth. Fries were also very good. The only thing that would make this place better is being on the waters edge, not a parking lot. But it certainly won't stop me from going back. Two thumbs up!”

Very, very kind staff. It feels like a lovely family-run business, and you can tell they care. Sometimes there’s a bit of a language barrier and things can get slightly lost in translation, but it never takes away from how genuinely nice and welcoming they are. Very sweet wife working, we have become quite the acquaintances.

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The space is quite small and can get pretty loud, with not much comfortable seating available. It’s definitely more of a quick stop than a place to sit and stay for a while.”

“This is my second time coming to sweet talk, the previous time I had a mini egg donut, this time I had their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! “Every time I walk my dog past this beautiful spot, my dog always seems to stop for a moment, giving me a chance to admire all the flowers and the care that goes into maintaining them.

Many people enjoy the beauty, but may not realize how much time, money, and hard physical work it takes to create and maintain such a lovely display. Even though the flowers only last for a short season, they bring so much joy to so many people.

My favourite Detroit pizza spot in Vancouver closed down a few years ago and it’s been a struggle finding something equally good that’s not ridiculously expensive. This place accomplishes that, and it’s much closer to home.

Despite being super busy, I was greeted by a very friendly person when I called to place my order. They called me as soon as the pizza was ready and left it on the oven to keep it warm until I arrived, because I was running a few minutes late. The vibes were super nostalgic, which makes me want to return for the dine-in experience.

The only difficulty with ordering from here is finding a place to park, if you’re driving.”

“I decided to check this place out after learning it was the only pizzeria in Canada with three Spicchi. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The pizza itself was good, but I can’t say I was particularly impressed. We were the first table seated and the first to order, yet the pizza arrived lukewarm. Fresh pizza should arrive hot straight from the oven, so that was disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but not one I would drive out of my way for again.”

“Just had the dark chocolate mouse with vanilla and salted caramel cake yesterday for the second time and it is the most memorable and the best we've ever had. There is nothing to compare this cake to. We've never had anything as elegant as this at any restaurant, store or hotel. This was superb!!!!!! Yummmmmy!!!! “Was here over the weekend and the vibe was lit 🔥 Loved the outdoor seating — the indoor space honestly gives more restaurant vibes than brewery vibes. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have wheat beer since that’s my go-to 🍺, but they do have a really good range of lagers and IPAs. Perfect spot if you like smooth, fizzy beers with a light IPA touch, kinda like a Corona Lite vibe but with more character.Price wise it isn’t expensive so I would go there again”

“Had a great experience at Little Beans Play Cafe. My kid had an amazing time and really enjoyed the food as well. The cappuccino was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The play area is very well thought out and feels safe and engaging for kids. There was also a music teacher there the day we visited, which added a really nice touch. Overall, it has a warm community feel and you can tell a lot of care has gone into the business. Highly recommend for parents looking for a relaxing place to bring their kids.”

“Outpost is a great little coffee spot in Port Moody with a clean, modern vibe. The space feels bright and welcoming, and it’s a nice place to sit down, relax, or get a bit of work done. The coffee is well made and consistently good, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality you get.

Service was friendly and efficient, even when it was a bit busy. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that seating can feel limited during peak hours. Overall, a solid neighborhood café that I’d happily visit again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Met up there with a bunch of friends. We hadn’t seen each other in so long, we spent most of the time yapping. Our waitress was very sweet, efficient and friendly, assuring us we could take our time. The food was good, the atmosphere was fine, and the company great. Would definitely go back!”

“Okay so i love the food here it is expensive but delicious. This being said, I am really saddened by the way the staff was being treated by a woman who seemed to be their boss. Older brown lady came in like a tornado talking down to everyone, and especially yelling and being very harsh to this young teenage girl. If you are going to be mean to your staff maybe dont do it in front of all the customers. I dont wanna support a business where the staff are being abused. Maybe this woman needs to fix her attitude, i felt so sorry for the girl she was yelling at. Sorry i love the food but that made me sad and was not a great vibe to be around especially on my lunch break when im trying to decompress.
The hand sanitizer is also never refilled.”

“I’ve been going to JJ bean for a long time now. The food is delicious- there are many different options based on your dietary needs. The espresso is incredible- so flavourful! However, this review is for Jordan! She’s such a thoughtful manager- I called this morning with an issue of my pre bought espresso. She not only recommended I come back to the store to get what I needed. She then proceeded to find a solution with my espresso maker so I didn’t need to come down and make the switch. Jordan is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and kind. Whether you're there for the food or the coffee or the people- it’s a great atmosphere!”

Back to 5 stars. They were busy for Mother's day and lots of staff working; what we saw was organised chaos. We still think Hanayuki Sushi has to be [one of] the best sushi restaurants, including fine dine ones too! Great taste, done just right, and never dry. Some very creative special rolls too. And bonus: IF any leftover, it's still very good!
Recommend without any hesitation!

PREVIOUS (sometime 2025)
This time I've knocked off one star. We always enjoy Hanayuki Sushi for taste and value, which often don't go together. The star less is because, very surprisingly, they didn't have their act together for pickup orders. What was supposed to be 20 minutes became almost 45 minutes...and no acknowledgement or apology for the wait. Food still tasted good though. 👍”
