Willoughby is Absolutely Beautiful, so well thoughtout, laidout, great colors, fabulous decor. The Food,... well i had the brunch lunch steak and eggs taco. Thats Right, sweet jesus,.SO GOOD. The Wife had the Noodle Salad Bowl with spicy peanut sauce, again, Great Presentation, very fresh, cruchy, perfect noodles with grilled chicken. Cathy had a Flight of mimosas, me... CranSoda. “This is quite far for me so I called a day ahead to check if it is open during a public holiday. It is so I proceeded to ask for a lunch reservation over the phone. When I got there, they couldn't find my reservation as it was mistakenly put down for midnight AM instead of PM😂

As far as the food, it's authentic and delicious. There's definitely some bot ngoc (msg) in it though.“

“My wife and I have been coming to this Me-n-Ed's for over 45 years. As long as we have been coming, the service and the food have remained at a constant level of excellence. The pizza tastes the same as it did all through the years. The crust has that wonderful crispy texture and the flavors of the perfectly placed toppings with just the right amount of sauce and cheese are a real treat.
This is without a doubt the best pizza around and even though we don't live in Burnaby and haven't for 44 years, we still like to make a special trip a few times a year and we always stop in for a taste from the past.“

“Saw this shop on TikTok and despite how far it was, I wanted to try it in high hopes.

Ordered a tteokboki + bulgogi kimbap combo for $18.50 and a japchae + moon kimbap combo for $13.50. The prices are pretty good for how good the food is.

I'm really satisfied in the spice level of the tteokboki because I usually can't have my food too spicy. But this was perfect as I could eat several pieces without a break.

The japchae was perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet and not too salty. The kimbap was really high in quality and the ingredients were fresh.

I also really liked the pickled cabbage. It was a nice palette cleanser.

My boyfriend really enjoyed the soup the combo came with. He even had my portion lol!“

It’s better than any other restaurant I’ve been to

“We had a wonderful experience at Mesob Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered kitfo, beef zilzil, and a vegetable combo for five people, and everything was flavorful and satisfying.

We also enjoyed traditional Eritrean coffee, which made the experience even more special. ☕

“I accidentally tipped twice.
I ordered online and paid in store.
My order already had a tip included, but their machine does not recognize this, so it asks you for a tip. I thought maybe I made a mistake, so I added a tip. When I checked back at my car, I tipped on top of the amount that was already tipped, which means my second tip was based on the previous amount which included the tip. My 2nd tip, although same percentage was higher than the first tip. Not really happy about that, but now I know.

Asides from that, The cheese just is not cheesy. Almost like there is not enough cheese, or not seasoned right.

The presentation looks great.
The pizza was warm, crust was crispy.
Lots of veggies and meat.
My kids were ultimately happy about the pizza.

The staff was friendly.
They labeled the boxes, which I like because my son can't have tomato anything, so he had a separate pizza.

The missing star is because the cheese is just not cheesy.

“It is currently 3:30 on a Saturday, July 11th 2026. The woman serving us today was extremely efficient. Spoke very clearly, very direct with her questions regarding our orders. We could hear when she spoke, and she could hear when we spoke. I mentioned I would only eat half when she asked us if it was to go or for eating in. When I got my sandwich, she wrapped half of it for me! That’s going above and beyond. Bravo.

“Love their food! The lady at the front is very sweet and helpful. Large helpings of rice and 2 of us end up sharing one meal. Also love the healthy yogurt drink in the fridge. I do find it a bit too thick band dilute it with cold water and ice. Really refreshing and cooling on a hot summer day!“
