This week Tanveer at the Newport Village location helped is in a jam after a local mexican restaurant messed up our order and we needed lunch for almost 60 school teachers. She single handedly made 20 pizzas in almost 25 mins and ensured that the last minute disaster was averted. Kudos to her and the team at this location. They customize any pizza to make it much healthier, as needed. Kudos!!“

“Exceptional! Fantastic pizza's, The Mama Said is our favourite, but they've all been excellent! The Caesar Salad is one of the best we've had as well....definitely a must try, Not only is the food superb, but the management are attentive. We had one dine in experience, pizza's were taking slightly longer than typical, manager spotted the delay, came over to apologize and made sure we left very satisfied! We hadn't complained we weren't in any rush, but he was attentive to his guests and made sure that we did not feel forgotten. That is the trademark of a great restaurant“

“Was in the neighbourhood and wanted to try the restaurant for the first time. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table on a Friday evening. Service was good, restaurant was full. The tomato suppli were excellent: crunchy exterior, flavourful and soft interior. Sauce was a nice addition. Meatballs and pizza were good.“

My favourite Detroit pizza spot in Vancouver closed down a few years ago and it’s been a struggle finding something equally good that’s not ridiculously expensive. This place accomplishes that, and it’s much closer to home.

Despite being super busy, I was greeted by a very friendly person when I called to place my order. They called me as soon as the pizza was ready and left it on the oven to keep it warm until I arrived, because I was running a few minutes late. The vibes were super nostalgic, which makes me want to return for the dine-in experience.

“Husband and I are pescatarian and we ordered the thin crust veggie korma pizza. It was absolutely fantastic for a pizza chain! The kids love Panago and would walk on broken glass to get some. We don’t cook them meat at home so they get meat pizzas and we get many “thank you” comments.

“If you've ever been to 'Atlas Pizza' in Calgary you know how amazing Pizza CAN be. Viva Sue in Burnaby is only place in lower mainland I've tried even in same ballpark of that quality. Just had a pizza there (viva sue) for dinner after having been to Atlas on may 22nd. Viva Sue WELL worth your try. Amazingly consistent for 30+ years even with new owners. Highly recommended. “I have bin driving by Green Olive Pizza a while now. I am always a fan of a true neighborhood pizza place not just another chain. Today I decided to try ot out. I got thier signature green olive pizza thin crust and a Hawaiian also thinking crust. I knew walking in to pick up my order from the smell I had made a good choice. Once I got home and dived in I know I will be definitely checking out more of thier pizzas. The crust was cooked perfectly crisp not burnt plus a properly cover pizza. Not a few toppings here and there. Over all a very friendly experience that filled that pizza craving for a really good pizza all at a fair price“

“This was my first time trying food from Ron s kitchen . I had only seen their ads on Facebook and Instagram, and finally decided to give it a shot. I ordered kebab and gheimeh, and honestly, both were amazing. I came all the way from downtown, but it was totally worth the trip. Great food and a great experience overall. When I called, the girl explained that the Doordash drivers were refusing to deliver it because it was a 15 min drive away (instead of 8 min). “We came on a Saturday night and the place was popping. We were a table of 10 so we ordered quite a few pizzas. Our favourite was the smoked salmon one. The place was noisy but not so noisy that we couldn't hear anything

Our server was an absolute angel and made sure to check on us often even though there were lots of tables around.

Their pizza is definitely not for everyone. I would describe it as a thin cracker crust. It can get addicting. There pizzas also come with lots of toppings (which can get salty if you are getting the ones with all meat).
