I arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and even though they were getting ready to close, Sakshi was incredibly kind and never made me feel rushed. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. “My wife and I stopped by Ignite Pizzeria in Yaletown for a late evening snack and shared a medium Margherita pizza.

The pizza was excellent. It struck a wonderful balance between traditional Italian pizza and American-style pizza—fresh, simple ingredients with a crust and overall presentation that was both satisfying and approachable. It was one of the better Margherita pizzas we’ve had.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind for a casual meal or snack. One detail I particularly appreciated was that they served water without ice, which felt more in line with the Italian dining experience. I assumed I could choose my toppings as I’m not fond of mushrooms…but I learned that is not true. You see, Did knows his product better than anyone and has made the decision to offer the best version of a calzone to his customers — regardless of personal taste opinions like mine. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.“

“Decent tasting fare for a pizza by-the-slice counter located in Metrotown foodcourt. At least six different variety of pizzas to choose from, including vegetarian. We had tried the butter chicken and vegetarian and found both delicious. Our slices were of a good size, loaded with ingredients. Our slice+drink combo seem good value for money. Service was fast and friendly. Metrotown foodcourt seating is plenty, spacious, bright and clean.“

“This review is about this Abbott Street location. In particular about the people who work here. I've lived in Vancouver for 20 years and I've never seen exemplary customer service than I've consistently received from a young gentleman called Shubhh.

If you're a regular, you know exactly who I mean. He always greets you by name with a pleasant smile, remembers your orders, goes above and beyond in accommodating your preferences. He still asks for my mother's health, who was visiting me about two years ago and was poorly.

In a world that's inherently transactional, and at late night pizza place at that, Shubhh somehow is an example of how to bring humanity to a very ordinary exchange. Getting late night pizza, while occasionally inebriated.

Anyway, pizza is pizza, and Uncle Fatih's is decent and consistent. Honestly, better quality toppings than you'll find in similar establishments open late.

While pizza is pizza, good and kind human beings are rare. And so this is both for readers of this review, and for employers of Shubhh.

THE best vegan pizza I have ever had in my 12 years of being vegan, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant as well. I really appreciate that they made the effort to carry on with the vegan menu of the previous restaurant in this location, it shows alot of consideration that many establishments dont have. “Papa John's is always good but this location beats the rest on quality and service. The crust is always warm and fluffy and delicately crusty, and the sauce always zingy. The local owners and their staff always show appreciation and serve with a folksy neighbourhood attitude. I've been coming to this location since they opened, even though another is closer to me.“

I did a walk-in right when they opened and was able to get a table, but I’d definitely recommend making a reso if you’re planning to go during busier hours.
