“I’ve been coming to this Freshslice location for a while now, and every time I walk in, I wish I get served from Mehak. She is seriously one of the friendliest and most helpful staff members I’ve ever met at any pizza place!
Last night I was trying to decide between a few slices and she patiently explained all the current deals, suggested the best combos, and even made sure my Butter Chicken slice came out extra fresh and hot. Her positive energy and big smile made the whole experience so much better – especially after a long day.
The pizza is always solid but Mehak is the real MVP here. Fast, polite, great communication, and genuinely seems to enjoy making customers happy.
If you’re in the area, come during her shift – you’ll leave with great pizza and good vibes! Highly recommend this location because of awesome team members like Mehak. Keep it up! 🍕🙌 highly recommended to vist this store“

If you are a pizza lover, try the variety of thin crust pizzas and the variety of toppings they have to offer. Really good quality and tasty food. I order their pasta on a weekly basis.“

I arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and even though they were getting ready to close, Sakshi was incredibly kind and never made me feel rushed. “Found this little place while my husband and I were walking up Commercial Drive. All I have to say is " WoW! ". The pizzas were so amazing, light crust, non greasy and full of fresh toppings. They do their own seasoning and it certainly tastes like home cooking. My husband tried out the stromboli and he was so in love with it, said it was the best handheld item he ever had and it's so true. This shop is old school, Ma and Pa pizza place so people please support them. They aren't a franchise and certainly don't taste like one. 100% approved for quality, service. “Two of the last three times I’ve ordered my usual x-large double cheese/double pepperoni pizza I received a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. Both times I took the latter pizza because I didn’t want to wait for another to be made.
I’m giving a 5 star rating because the staff is always pleasant and the problem was due to lack of English and lack of training.
You guys make good pizza but your new staff doesn't know the difference between “double” and “half.”

“Super friendly service, chill rustic diner vibes with TVs for watching sports, good beer selection and most importantly - exceptionally delicious pizza! The ingredients taste super fresh, the dough is skillfully prepared and baked to a nice fluffy crisp. I also love their garlic confit. An absolute hidden gem and easily my favorite pizza spot in town.“

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“I visited the Freshslice Joyce location this past Sunday morning with my two daughters, and we had an amazing experience! The staff members were incredibly warm, welcoming and so sweet to my kids. “I got a gluten free ricotta pizza and it was sooooooo good. Such a nice treat to be able to enjoy a gluten free option that didn't make me feel like I was missing out. I was reading online that they take care to prevent cross contamination while making the dough initially but I was advised that theres cross contamination in the oven after you order it. So if you have a serious sensitivity this might not be for you. Very impessive otherwise!

My husband got the Montreal smoked meat and he was very pleased with the amount of meat on it. He's a tough sell and he was very happy with it.

“This review is about this Abbott Street location. In particular about the people who work here. I've lived in Vancouver for 20 years and I've never seen exemplary customer service than I've consistently received from a young gentleman called Shubhh.

If you're a regular, you know exactly who I mean. He always greets you by name with a pleasant smile, remembers your orders, goes above and beyond in accommodating your preferences. He still asks for my mother's health, who was visiting me about two years ago and was poorly.

In a world that's inherently transactional, and at late night pizza place at that, Shubhh somehow is an example of how to bring humanity to a very ordinary exchange. Getting late night pizza, while occasionally inebriated.

Anyway, pizza is pizza, and Uncle Fatih's is decent and consistent. Honestly, better quality toppings than you'll find in similar establishments open late.

While pizza is pizza, good and kind human beings are rare. And so this is both for readers of this review, and for employers of Shubhh.

We ordered 2 large the Zaccary Special and the Greek. Both were delicious! This is our new pizza place and we only want to support local. So happy!“

“We have ordered pizza here on 2 occasions, tonight and one week ago. We used delivery on both occasions.Website describes the options available with prices and specials. Phone order was clear and polite/helpful. Delivery was punctual with polite service and pizza arrived at proper temperature. We ordered 1 pizza with gluten free crust which my wife stated was very good and I had regular crust which was also good. We had 3 different toppings over the 2 deliveries and all were good! I would order here again and recommend them based on our experience this week.“

“Decent tasting fare for a pizza by-the-slice counter located in Metrotown foodcourt. At least six different variety of pizzas to choose from, including vegetarian. We had tried the butter chicken and vegetarian and found both delicious. Our slices were of a good size, loaded with ingredients. Our slice+drink combo seem good value for money. Service was fast and friendly. Metrotown foodcourt seating is plenty, spacious, bright and clean.“
