The homemade meat sauce infused with garlic and onions is a staple for their spaghetti bolognese and lasagna dishes. If you are a pizza lover, try the variety of thin crust pizzas and the variety of toppings they have to offer. Really good quality and tasty food. I order their pasta on a weekly basis.“

“I had previously raised a complaint because my pizza wasn’t up to the mark, but I’m genuinely impressed with how well the management handled the situation. They called me personally, listened to my concern, and resolved the issue properly. They even offered me a free medium pizza as a gesture, which I really appreciated.
When I went to pick up the replacement pizza, the cashier was also very polite and treated me with great respect. They even apologized, and honestly, I felt a little bad because I realized my complaint may have put the employee in an uncomfortable situation. At the time of my original complaint, I was genuinely disappointed with the pizza, so I only wanted to make sure my concern was heard.

But this time, the pizza was 100% satisfying. The quality and toppings were much better, and I really appreciate the team for taking my feedback seriously and making things right.

Thank you to the management and the entire team for handling the situation professionally and going the extra mile to make a customer happy. Not every restaurant takes complaints this seriously, so I really appreciate the effort. This experience has definitely changed my impression, and I’ll be happy to order from here again. ❤🍕“

I arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and even though they were getting ready to close, Sakshi was incredibly kind and never made me feel rushed. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“I love this Fresh Slice. The food is always made quick, fresh, and delectable, after being ordered. This is a help to me because I have a busy job as a courier and my hours are long. “What a wonderful pizzeria in Yaletown in the heart of Vancouver with the best pizza I have eaten for many, many years.

Our party had the hummus plate to start with and then the mortedella, funghi supreme, meet lovers and Parma prosciutto pizzas, all cooked to perfection and all of which we agreed were some of the best pizzas ever tasted. The crust was lovely and crisp too and not too heavy and stodgy, as many pizzas are.

“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.“

“Last week I finally got to try a calzone at Did’s after drooling past the sign for days while on my big trip to the big city for Web Summit Vancouver 2026. I assumed I could choose my toppings as I’m not fond of mushrooms…but I learned that is not true. You see, Did knows his product better than anyone and has made the decision to offer the best version of a calzone to his customers — regardless of personal taste opinions like mine. “This review is about this Abbott Street location. In particular about the people who work here. I've lived in Vancouver for 20 years and I've never seen exemplary customer service than I've consistently received from a young gentleman called Shubhh.

If you're a regular, you know exactly who I mean. He always greets you by name with a pleasant smile, remembers your orders, goes above and beyond in accommodating your preferences. He still asks for my mother's health, who was visiting me about two years ago and was poorly.

In a world that's inherently transactional, and at late night pizza place at that, Shubhh somehow is an example of how to bring humanity to a very ordinary exchange. Getting late night pizza, while occasionally inebriated.

Anyway, pizza is pizza, and Uncle Fatih's is decent and consistent. Honestly, better quality toppings than you'll find in similar establishments open late.

While pizza is pizza, good and kind human beings are rare. And so this is both for readers of this review, and for employers of Shubhh.

“On December 2nd, 2015 we ordered from here for the first time! We had a meat lover 1pizza, a Hawaiian deluxe pizza and a cheese pizza with black olives. We will be back for sure!“

THE best vegan pizza I have ever had in my 12 years of being vegan, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant as well. My girlfriend got a vegan pizza too, and as a non-vegan said it was incredible. I really appreciate that they made the effort to carry on with the vegan menu of the previous restaurant in this location, it shows alot of consideration that many establishments dont have.
