We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

Nothing beats dancing on the Fox stage- just don't bring drinks up there! As if the dancing weren't enough, the live bands and comedy shows are also well worth checking out. I've been all over the city and Fox is easily the top spot, no two ways about it.“

“We went for lunch at the recently renovated The Grill at Terminal City Club. Though only accessible to members, I really enjoy dining and lunching here with friends. It has an outdoor patio area that overlooks waterfront to the North. We really appreciate that the restaurant gave us well-portioned meals even though we asked for the dishes to be split. Our salad and our club sandwich with all the fries were a good portion for each person. Lots of choices between soup and salad to compliment your sandwiches. Coffee and tea are part of the meal. That grilled salmon caesar salad was so delicious, healthy and light, I was craving it the next day. Fries were very crispy and delicious too.“

“From what we could tell our server was the only one working front of house and our service was still excellent and very quick. The drinks were really unique and flavorful, the spinach artichoke came with a good amount of bread (which it almost never does these days), and the dessert tasted as good as it looked. There are also lots of different types of indoor and outdoor seating options.“

Pros: Wonderful attentive bartender even when they were short staffed, delicious pizza (we had the spicy one) and risotto (we had the zucchini one), great location right across the street from Orpheum.

Con (there’s only one!): Not enough non alcoholic options for us non-drinkers. In 2026 there are an increasing number of folks choosing non-alcoholic, and the menu had two mocktails and one mediocre 0% beer option. Might be good for this lovely little gem to offer more creative mocktails and some 0 wines. The bartender was kind enough to make me something off-menu which was pretty ok.

“I went there to watch the World Cup today, and I had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beer and the food were excellent. The Beef Ragu was especially memorable, it was so delicious that I'd happily come back just for that. I also really enjoyed the dark beer. As a sports pub, it had a great atmosphere, and watching the game was comfortable with excellent views of the screens. I'll definitely be back!“
