This is a good Mexican restaurant, though not the best in town. The service was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable, but ultimately a little forgettable.
One unusual thing is that the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas during the summer, with certain dishes available only outside. Because we wanted to try the elote, we had to split our meal between the two areas which for me is very unnecessary. Flexibikity would have been the better approach.

Chupito is a restaurant with a unique concept, located at the end of a sketchy alley. It offers a cozy and friendly atmosphere, with excellent service and delicious cocktails. The small plates are perfect for sharing, featuring standout dishes like oysters, octopus tostada, and tres leches cake. The octopus tostada is highly recommended, with perfect, not chewy octopus and surprisingly earthy sauce. The drinks are exceptional, each with its own twist and flavor, especially the Zipolite. The location is intriguing, tucked away in a back alley that creates a sense of discovery. Once you walk down the alley, you hear lively music and find a quiet outdoor patio resembling a cozy front yard. The ambiance is hip, with cute string lights at night. Service is attentive, with helpful staff offering great recommendations and prompt service. Overall, Chupito is a great spot for drinks and small bites, where the food and drinks impress, and the relaxing setting makes it a memorable experience.
