A hidden gem of a dining experience. My wife and I have been going for several years. It only got better with first-class chefs and front-line staff overseeing the operation. Exceptional food and prices plus you get to witness students at VCC being trained in all aspects of fine dining. I can see why it is an exceptional program. As an alumni of the culinary course at VCC my wife and I continue to attend lunches and dinners at JJ's. We have never been disappointed. The quality of the food for the price paid is certainly one of the best deals in town. We would recommend a meal here to anyone looking to support the rising culinary stars of tomorrow. 13 of us had a wonderful dining experience at JJ's yesterday. I had the Beef Short Rib for Appetizer. Looked delicious & was mouth watering. Next Steelhead Trout & Risotto for Entree. Trout cooked to perfection & the collection of vegetables served along with the sauce complimented the dish. For Dessert I had the Lemon Tart. Again, mouth watering. The food, service, atmosphere all added up to a perfect inexpensive luncheon.
