“If you are like me and growing up in a household with “traditional, slow cooked, 12 hours on the stove” kinda’ dishes were just another regular Tuesday night dinner, you know those flavours and dishes are almost impossible to find elsewhere. La Tana has managed to create the same flavours, dishes and love that I remember so dearly sharing with my family around the table. Thank you La Tana”

“We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering”
“4.5
Solid, as expected for good ingredients done right. There were Japanese influences throughout the dishes we ordered. Nothing felt particularly surprising, which could be seen as either a strength or a drawback :)”

“Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!”
“amazing food especially ghee roast kaju biryani and the presence, nature of treating customers is too good. I recommend dhamaka to all with there loved onces.”
“word on the street is this is a must try if you like Vietnamese & you’re in Vancouver - modern takes on traditional dishes by an acclaimed chef.”
“BEST IRISH PUB IN VANCOUVER”
“I've hired Pizza Catering Vancouver twice for corporate events, and both times they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food! They also offered excellent gluten-free and vegan options, which were much appreciated. This team is my go-to for catering, I can’t recommend them highly enough. A true 10/10 experience!”
“Food is very thai authentic & delicious. Mango sticky rice is so artistic and so good.”
“Celebrated my birthday here last January 14, and the food is great, plus the staff are nice too!”
“Outstanding to die for real authentic Indian food. You gotta try it at least once in your life.”
“Lotus root very fresh and crispy even on day 2 of eating. Peking duck crispy, good size pan-fried beef portions, fresh mushrooms. $7 for Tato's small size takeout container of your meat or vegetable selection. Fast service, thanks.”
“The best local Vietnamese cuisine! A must try for the authentic Vietnam flavours 😍”
“Wowee. Bread amazing, service fast. Overall experience excellent. This was the best put together sandwich with amazing fresh ingredients. Value is very high as well. 10/10 would recommend!”
“Absolutely loved our night at the Keefer Bar! Our bartender was lovely, the cocktails were fantastic and we loved the food too! Highly recommend!”
“I ate at Zarak last night for the first time and I was blown away. Every Single Dish was spectacular!!! The portions were generous, the flavours are like nothing I have ever experienced and the cocktails... Run don't Walk to Zarak. Special mention: The service was great. All the staff were attentive, informative and happy. What a treat. I will be back!”
“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!”

“This is your “must go place” for authentic hot pot experience. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there today.
Food is so tasty with so many choices of soup bases. Spicy flavour tomato flavour are highly recommended. Beef quality is the best. We ordered 12 dishes of meat for four adults. Free ice cream is provided as well.
Service cannot be better. They have had the table decorated for us with happy birthday signs. Can you believe that the server even helped us to peel shrimp shells! My baby is only one year old and he was fussy sometimes. Different servers came with different types of toys to make him happy.
On our way back home, I got a call from Jessie that she apologized for not singing a happy birthday song for my husband. She even dropped a whole package of birthday gifts to our house with our permission.
I can never forget this best service I have ever had.”
“The food and drink was absolutely delicious when I went with my friend and partner. We ordered mango sticky rice, cauliflower wings and lychee/peach iced tea. On a hot summer day, it hit the spot so good. We also ordered some noodle dishes whuch were delicuous to devour on the go, though they were soupier than we thought. Our waitress was very kind, welcoming and accomodating, though also loud and people pleasing, which can come across as a bit much for some. Our group was fine with it though. We went in for a quick bite and got exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was beautiful and homey, separating us in a calmer bubble from the busy Vancouver streets.”

“We visited Gary’s on our first trip to Canada. The food was amazing and will always be memorable for us. Coming from the UK I also think it was good value for the quality of food served. Our server was fantastic, one of the friendliest and conversational servers I have had- she was so open with giving us recommendations and just talking casually- sorry I didn’t get her name! (Female, glasses!) hope to return one day!”
“We had dinner at Blue Water Cafe last night, and our server, Jared, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening and possessed a deep knowledge of the menu, explaining the dishes with great detail. His drink recommendations were also spot on and enhanced our meal perfectly. What impressed us the most was his impeccable pacing; he managed to attend to every single table with absolute precision, without ever making anyone feel rushed. Jared balances warmth and professionalism beautifully, and he was truly a key figure in making our evening a memorable success. A huge thank you to Jared and the entire team for an unforgettable night. Jared went above and beyond any service experience I’ve had in the city. Highly recommended!”
“Love love this place, it deserves all the praises. Amazing quality fish, you can taste the freshness. Service is attentive and personal. Dishes are not only beautiful but have layers of favour, just flawless execution, the chef here is on the top of their game.”

“We had such a wonderful experience on March 17, 2026 at Miku Japanese Restaurant at River Rock Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly top-notch—the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made us feel genuinely cared for. What really stood out was their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. As soon as they noticed that one of our friends was wearing a veil and the rest of us had our Team Bride sashes on, they kindly arranged a private dining room for us. It made the celebration feel even more special and intimate. The ambience was also fantastic—cool, relaxing, and enhanced by a great selection of music. The warm, Japanese-style décor added a beautiful and authentic touch to the overall dining experience. We also appreciated the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, especially since we had decided not to drink before going swimming. It was such a considerate gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. And of course, the food was amazing—every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience with exceptional service, thoughtful touches, and incredible food. Highly recommended for special occasions!”
“Overall food is good but we question the need for such theatrical performance. We enjoyed many dishes in particular Zuke maguro, anago, and fried fish. The broth of ramen was excellent! On the other hand, we were disappointed by the quality of the seaweed which was gummy and had no flavor. Rice also needs some improvement. Finally the chairs felt a bit low for the counter.”
“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.”

“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!”
“Pizza was really freshly made and really delecious the guy in front was very kind really liked the crispy and fresh pizza and (HAPPY) the staff guy was really impressive and had good suggestions wow wow wow today it was brijesh he is a gem person wow such a good service and pizza was really good like really unbelievable wow brijesh made my experience here so good this place never disappoints . I love to be here . And now more because of brijesh service and his excellence cooking pizza skill .”
“Update: June 30 2026
I was in the area and decided to have lunch with my Dad. He’s never had a Smash burger ever in his life and this was a good day to have one. I personally have had a few smash burgers before at other restaurants, however I too will be in the same boat as my dad eating them here, at A&W.
We got the Double Smash Combos. It was hot, juicy, and delicious. My Dad appreciates the paper bag when holding the burger cause it keeps his hands cleaner LOL 😂. The fries were crispy and the coffee is great. We had a fun time here. We were glad we tried the limited edition smash burgers and got the Rooty keychains. We would definitely come back again. Great location 👍.
July 6 2025:
National Root Beer Day. Free root beer woot woot!”
“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“After a long shift on my feet, I stopped in to grab a sub for myself. Rajan provided outstanding customer service with a professional and friendly attitude.
My sub was made perfectly, with a generous amount of meat and fresh salad. His welcoming personality made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommended! 👌”
“I always have a great experience at this Tim Hortons, especially because of Sukh. She is always energetic, supportive, and welcoming every time I visit. She even remembers the items I usually order and reminds me if I forget—such amazing customer service! The service here is always fast and efficient.”
“I am not from the area, but I would happily travel the distance for this place! They have a massive selection for vegetarians—I counted 12 options, 10 of which can be made vegan. They even have two vegetarian burgers (both can be vegan).
On my first visit, I had the Butter Paneer Wrap with a side of fries and a Diet Coke (around $20). The wrap was exactly what you want: creamy, filling, and loaded with paneer. I hadn't eaten all day, and it filled me up completely.
I came back again and tried the Zesty Paneer Wrap and the Birria Fries. The wrap was just as great as the butter version but with a bit more of a tomato base. The Birria fries definitely have a nice kick to them!
Also you can choose your spiciness level for the wraps and several other items. Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby (or even if you aren't.”

“Food is absolutely amazing and tasty however very pricey for their small portions, especially the green curry halibut. My additional take out order, My husband thought it was small leftover and not a new order. Great service!”
“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!”
“We stopped at Maruhachi Ramen as it was highly rated and we were not disappointed. Everything was freshly made and the broths and topping of each ramen dish were fantastic. The chili oil on the side was also great and was very spicy. Staff were friendly and the place was very clean.”

“My wife tried Mr. Shawarma on Robson last night and after she offered me a bite I had to go back and order one for myself - so good! As well, the personal touch and friendly vibe of the chef and team made my whole trip downtown feel worth it. I will build a trip to Mr. Shawarma into my downtown trips from now on!”
“Shayla, our server, was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu thoroughly and made excellent recommendations that we were glad to try. The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish. We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding. For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor. We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!”
“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”
“Delicious noodles! Prompt service. Tom yum was the perfect level of sour and spicy. Got out with the thick noodles which had a really nice chew. I don’t usually love shrimp, but these were fresh as they had a nice bounce.
Only down part is that it’s really warm - perhaps not enough AC / fan. Air circulation not great, but otherwise the space is cozy and cute.”

“BaHar you kidding me? This was so good. We got the turkey sandwich, pistachio baklava, and a frangipane brioche bun and everything was a huge hit. The bread they use for the sandwich is incredible (make sure to get it heated up, it's 10/10 crispy). Baklava tastes like the best pistachio and cardamom, and the frangipane brioche is not too sweet, but perfectly soft! Plus the staff were so kind! Will absolutely be coming back.”
“My wife and I go to Five Sails every year for our wedding anniversary because we've never been disappointed or dissatisfied here. Even though it appears there has been an overhaul since the last time we came, they didn't fail to impress. The staff were personable, informative, and the food was phenomenal.”
“I have celiac disease and follow a gluten‑free diet, so I always have to be careful about cross‑contamination. Before visiting any restaurant, I call ahead to make sure they understand what celiac disease means. I spoke with Raviji, owner of Niravva Indian Resturant, on Victoria Drive, and he assured me the food would be safe for me. Because of cross‑contamination, my wife and I usually avoid Indian restaurants. But last Sunday, we went to Nirvana India Restaurant and we had such a wonderful experience. Opiji came to our table and explained that they prepare all their masalas in‑house and that everything would be safe for me. They even make gluten‑free roti from scratch. It was the first time I ever had a gluten‑free roti in a restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. We also spoke with Opiji, who even shared a simple tip for making gluten‑free roti at home. For the first time, we felt we had found a safe Indian restaurant for us.”
“Over many years of meals and events, I recently discovered Hawksworth's Cocktail Hour in its cozy lounge. Every seat in the room is a comfy one, though I favour saddling up to the bar. You will always find a cocktail or wine to your liking. We usually order near everything from the food menu. Sometimes wagyu, currently prosciutto, always oysters. Main reason I keep coming back is the people. Service in this space never disappoints. I have favourites, of course. You know who you are...”
“Thank you Lisa and Philip. The dining experience is more than food, and even though our steaks were cooked to perfection (huge shout out to the chefs on that porterhouse) your service made the experience one that we will remember. Thank you.”
“Delicious food. I’ve ordered from there 3 times and I always get the curry laska. I think about that soup/pho all the time! The garlic bok Choi is delicious. The vinegar garlic sauce as an add on, adds depth and even more flavour.”
“Love love this place, it deserves all the praises. Amazing quality fish, you can taste the freshness. Service is attentive and personal. Dishes are not only beautiful but have layers of favour, just flawless execution, the chef here is on the top of their game.”
Fine Dining
“Phenomenal food. We both got the chef’s tasting menu & everything was very well thought and executed to the littlest details. We were served by Max & Andrew, both of whom must be passionate about what they do from what we could tell. My guess is that if you’re into delicious food, you’ll find your way to Suyo’s door.”
“We had such a lovely meal at L’Abattoir! We did the tasting menu and were impressed throughout the meal. Everything was delicious! I really appreciate the pacing of the night- we never felt rushed but food also felt like it came out right as you were feeling ready for the next course. The steak tartare, salmon, and quail were all superb standouts. Both desserts were delicious and large portions! We definitely felt happily stuffed when leaving. The service was really remarkable. So friendly and just the right amount of contact and touching base throughout the meal. A bonus to me was that the mocktails were really unique and thoughtful. It’s a chic, lovely atmosphere.”
“I would give 6 stars for service if I could. I’ve never seen staff so attentive or feel like they cared about the diners’ experience so much.
After each course they would immediately clear old plates and cutlery as to give us a fresh experience for each dish.
Ordered the dover sole, ribeye, foie gras, frog legs, and steak tartare. Felt like the sauce that came with the steak was a bit too sweet and wish it came with more salt, but the rest of my party enjoyed it.
During the later hours the atmosphere of the restaurant definitely improved and became more quiet and relaxing.
Stellar experience overall. Again, the best service I’ve ever had.”
“Though it's only Jan, quite sure this will be one of the best dining experiences of the year, if not the top. Everyone and everything was perfect from the time we sat down till our departure. Great people, food, and space. Easily one of the nicest rooms in Van... And that wine cellar! Thanks Carl et al”
“Incredible food!!!! Husband and I enjoyed the premiere Omakase meal and it was unreal and unforgettable! Every bite was delicious but it was so cool to watch the chef prepare each piece of fish. It was quiet and delicate and very clear the care and effort required for this meal. We’re from out of town but this was such a great find and experience for us!!”
“We did the omakase dinner and added on the chawanmushi towards the end because we just love eating that. Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. We were so amazed at the crab dish which is slightly grilled to give it extra aroma! We will definitely be back again ❤️”
“Wonderful, attentive, and friendly service. The portions are perfectly sized. Not too much but not too little. Pricing, while note cheap, is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food that you're getting. A wonderful gem hidden in Kits. I highly recommend this to anyone. My bet is that you'll be left wanting to come back again.”

“Best Happy Hour in downtown. Absolutely delicious menu and a very nice location, staff, environment.”

“Ramneet and Harsh were so friendly, welcoming and kind. I was greeted immediately, and with a smile, she was bubbly throughout the entire experience. I saw her interactions with other customers while I was eating my slice, & her (Ramneet) s consistency is telling of how much business I saw during my visit. If there were more stars, I would give them. Hopefully her superiors see this, & she gets a raise!:)”
“We went for dinner yesterday and had an incredible experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was without a doubt some of the best we’ve had in Vancouver.
The menu is very diverse, and everything we tried was absolutely amazing. We had the octopus, hot oysters, and the fish none of which should be missed. A true gem in Vancouver”
“I’ve lived in Japan for many years and I have eaten at many delicious Ramen spots - this place blows them out of the water. The BROTH is incredible (I love the miso broth!) but it’s the thick, chewy noodles that really do it for me 🤤 I will (and do) come back to this place over and over again.”
“Went for a late night poutine and beef wrap after a concert and I could not have been happier. Super friendly and fast service. Generous portion and the beef wrap was very tender and full of veggies and flavors. I would definitely return if I'm in the area. One bonus, I forgot to buy a can of soda when ordering so when the food was ready I tried to buy a drink but the guy just comped it for me. What a guy! He even followed up with a food check to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Another note, the pic I took of the wrap doesn't do it justice. One more bite in and it would have showcased the plentiful veggies and sauce inside. Very good.”
“To Live For is worth driving from another country to visit! I live in the US, but make the drive frequently to enjoy their incredible baked goods, both sweet and savory. It is such a welcoming environment with incredible staff too. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near East Vancouver!”
“Great food and excellent service! The Chicken Yaki Udon was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a flavorful sauce. The sushi and other dishes were also incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The food arrived hot and still steaming, which made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to others!”
“We went here and brought the original and garlic soy chicken to bring to the Kits beach. The lady who took our order was accommodating. Our order was prepared so fast even if there were a lot of guests at that time. I tried a number Korean chicken in Vancouver but CM’s chicken is the best!!! It’s favorful and freshly cooked. We haven’t eaten it right away after ordering but it was still crispy! 10/5 ♥”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“one of the best burgers I've ever had. the bannock was excellent too”
“Overall food is good but we question the need for such theatrical performance.
“This tea shop in Vancouver Chinatown is a true gem for tea lovers and anyone curious about the world of tea. The quality and diversity of their teas are exceptional. Whether you're looking for delicate white teas, robust pu-erhs, or fragrant oolongs, they have an incredible selection that caters to all tastes and preferences. Each tea is carefully sourced, and you can really tell the care and expertise that goes into curating their offerings. The owner Daniel's passion for tea is infectious, and his knowledge is both deep and approachable. During a tea-tasting session, he guided us through a curated selection, explaining the nuances of each variety and how to properly savor them. It was a relaxing and educational experience, and I left with a greater appreciation for the art of tea. Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or just starting to explore, The Chinese Tea Shop is a welcoming and enriching place to visit. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of their wonderful teas and the chance to learn from Daniel's expertise.”
“Amazing food here! Absolutely mouth watering! I will be back a million times over. Great service, keep up the good work kitchen team! ✨👏🏼🔥😍”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“Amazing service from Olivia. This lady is one of the best if not the best servers I have ever had at any restaurant bar-none!!”
“Friendly, knowledgeable bar staff who crafted cocktails based on what we like to drink! Speakeasy vibes. Definitely check out this cute, funky bar!”
“The food was absolutely fantastic! Complex and satisfying. Everything we tried was delicious!”
“We celebrated our 10th anniversary on January 25 at Coast Restaurant during the Dine Out Festival 2026, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As expected from the Glowbal Restaurant Group, the service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress made the evening even more special—she happened to be a fellow Swiftie! We ended up having such a lovely chat about how we millennials grew up listening to Taylor Swift, which added a fun and personal touch to our celebration. She truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. Not only did we receive a complimentary cake as a thoughtful gesture, but she also surprised me with a Swiftie friendship bracelet—such a sweet and unique detail that we’ll always remember. The food was amazing from start to finish. My husband had the New England Chowder for his appetizer, while I enjoyed the shrimp salad. For our mains, we both chose the surf n’ turf—our favorite—and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with a delicious sticky toffee pudding, along with the complimentary cake. Everything—from the incredible food to the warm, attentive service—made our night so special. Thank you, Coast, for such a memorable anniversary celebration! 💕”
“During my visit to Hyderabadi Biryani House with four friends, we had a delightful dining experience that truly showcased the restaurant's expertise in traditional Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was a highlight, with its soft, fluffy texture and rich garlic flavor that perfectly complemented the meal. The veg dum biryani was equally impressive, offering a fragrant mix of spices and perfectly cooked rice that provided a satisfying, hearty dish. The veg curries were another standout, with their rich, aromatic gravies and fresh vegetables that delivered a burst of authentic flavors. The meal was a fantastic experience, with these dishes standing out as the stars of the evening.”
“Delicioso sabor, buenos condimentos, cocina al momento, 💯% recomendado!!!”
“We had a stellar experience at this venue yesterday. The service was up to par and the menu was amazing. I can't say I have any complaints at all!”
“We had a family birthday lunch at the Lonsdale Quay location that was absolutely fabulous. In our party of five, three of us had sandwiches and two ordered pasta dishes. Everything was so nicely presented and tasted even better than it looked. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the enticing items on the menu. The setting and atmosphere is lovely and the service was great - an overall joyful experience in dining out.”
“We were looking for an authentic Lebanese restaurant in BC. Don’t pass Mazahr’s for lunch or dinner. Food was excellent!!!!!!”
And enjoy!”
“The three of us and a dog came to Nonna’s Cucina on East Hastings for the first time after seeing it several times while driving by. We each ordered the rigatoni dish and in our opinion the quality was at par with Oca and La Tana. Very tasty and flavorful, and good portions. It was so neat to be served on pretty china instead of on a cardboard container. One of the staff came out while we were waiting at our table for our dishes and he was so kind to give our friend’s dog some bits of ham to enjoy! We are so glad to have tried this place out and we will definitely be returning again soon!”
“Highly recommend! Food, services and the environment are PERFECT!!! Definitely will recommend to everyone around me!”
“I have eaten at other Michelin restaurants before and this is my top. By far the best service, best food, everything is exemplary.”
“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.”
“Had a great experience at Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Vancouver. The soup base was rich and flavorful, and the meat and vegetables were fresh. The lamb was especially good, with great texture and no strong gamey taste. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable for eating with friends or family. Portions were generous and the price felt reasonable for the quality. Definitely a solid hot pot spot in Vancouver — I’d come back again.”
“amazingly delicious food (get the hokkaido scallop sashimi, chicken karaage, edamame, and uni handroll), fantastic friendly and thoughtful people, phenomenal music, great vibes, my new favourite place for sure. I've been twice in the last week!”
“Afghan Horseman never disappoints… my husband and I have been coming here for over 30 years and now it has become a favourite of our kids also. The food…delicious, the atmosphere… unique & cozy, the service… we are always treated like family and we were honoured to be included in their 50th Anniversary celebration this year. Tonight we enjoyed another fabulous dinner experience and we got to share it with our friend from Germany who loved it. Thank you to all our friends at Afghan, we look forward to dining with you in 2025!”
“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for more of their delicious dishes!”
“It was awesome, great food, fantastic drinks and unbelievable company! ❤️❤️❤️”
“I didn’t like pizza, but Rocky Mountain Flatbread changed my mind. Great service, well priced, delicious food, lots of options for everyone. Recommended.”
“Michael took great care of us as well as all the staff. We look forward to our return visit next time in town.”
“Had Fantastic service our waiter Darshil was very nice and polite always came by asking how the food was and if he could help with anything else. We got our food and drinks really fast. We definitely will be going back all of the food was amazing!.”
“Wonderful atmosphere very lively and fun. My server Olivia G was attentive, helpful, and very friendly. She made great recommendations and had the most amazing energy. Will be coming back for sureee”
“Hotdogs and beer - what else do you need? If you're a fan of hoppy IPAs then they'll have more than enough selection; and I'm always pleased with their rotating cider offerings as a GF choice. Any hotdog can be made vegan/veggie and they also offer a basic kids hotdog for anyone less adventurous. Definitely give them a try!”
“Great food, good beer, and the perfect vibe for loudly gossiping with your friends 😂🍻 Definitely a fun place to hang out, eat well, and catch up! We will be back!”
“Great food, the owner comes around to every table asking how everything was. His passion is cooking and the restaurant has been around for forty years. Nice interior, open and child friendly.”
“I was just here on may 5th 2024. this was the first time having a5 wagyu and it did not disappoint. the service was top notch the food was amazing. I will be back. please put the tomato bisque soup on the everyday menu.”
“We sat and our waiter brought dishes. An excellent experience. A tad loud as there are lots of tables in a small space. Cocktails listed were numerous - ok on the taste. Overall, recommend!”
“wow this is amazing! I had the gluten free Crist with all vegan options. so delicious. you have to try it!!”
“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.”
“One of the very best Japanese restaurants in the city. Reasonable prices and home style Japanese food. Worth the wait. Come early.”
“Taylor was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The food was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back!”
“Amazing food 10/10 heard about it from a friend, will definitely be back”
“One of our favourite places to go for pizza - always delicious and the atmosphere is lively and fun 🤩”
“Delicious and inspired dishes you can enjoy in a restaurant with a great vibe and cool decor. Dressed up for a special occasion or show up as you are, this place will feel right. Definitely a place I will go to again, & again.”
“The food was a great quality - fresh and tasty. Portions as it's usually in izakayas are on a smaller size. Price a bit higher that it could be for such size. The waiter guy was nice and helpful. A couple of other waitresses were less friendly than the first time we've visited Kingyo (when it felt super welcoming). Overall, lovely place. Definitely would be glad to go there again.”
“It was my first time to dine in here. The food was really delicious, the place ambiance is beautiful and most of all the service is very awesome. Thank you so much and I will for sure highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.”
“I really like their pad Thai! Good portion! Authentic flavour, sweet with lots of tamarind in it. Good wok taste as well. The only thing is they use green onion in lieu of chives, and they don’t give enough fresh bean sprout on the side.
Their papaya salad is disappointing. Medium spicy is barely spicy at all, more like mild. They also use bottle lime and you can taste it! The overall flavour is just not there. Portion is also quite small (just a bunch of lettuce underneath to increase the volume).
I didn’t get it this time but I remember loving their spring rolls because it tasted just like in Thailand!”
“We came here for dinner but the place it’s really small so we decided to takeaway . The menu was really interesting with lots of options and fresh ingredients. I will say this is really nice place, nice food for a chill dinner. Although the Karaage was with the bones which I didn’t really appreciate for the price. The sushi was really good in terms of quality but like with nothing speciale just basic. I think they could improve quality with just some details.”
“Tuna crudo was amazing as was the service by Danni during our visit tonight! Excellent beverages as well - spicy orange margaritas and the slushies ⭐️ Great spot for any occasion - thank you, Homer! Love, the MA/MI connection.”
“absolutely 💯 the food, service, and room are all amazing”
“Over many years of meals and events, I recently discovered Hawksworth's Cocktail Hour in its cozy lounge. Every seat in the room is a comfy one, though I favour saddling up to the bar. You will always find a cocktail or wine to your liking. We usually order near everything from the food menu. Sometimes wagyu, currently prosciutto, always oysters. Main reason I keep coming back is the people. Service in this space never disappoints. I have favourites, of course. You know who you are...”
“Asa Sushi is a great spot if you're craving both Japanese and Korean cuisine. The food is consistently solid, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the girls working there were especially kind and attentive to my 8-year-old, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a lively, welcoming vibe and is usually busy—a good sign that it's a local favorite.
If you're looking for good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere, Asa Sushi is definitely worth a visit!”
“Food together with family, was a notch above everyone else in terms of quality and level of cooking. We’ve been here for both brunch dim sum and dinner, both exceptional. Highly recommend this place.”
“Went there with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by how cool the aesthetic of the place is. It feels like they've recreated the vibe of Japan in the 80s and 90s, with a retro, old-school Japanese atmosphere that makes the experience feel really unique.
Such a cool spot to grab a couple of beers and enjoy some Japanese food. In my case, I went for the tonkatsu set with rice, salad, and miso soup. The sushi was a little on the pricey side for me, so I decided to go with the tonkatsu instead and I wasn't disappointed!
Definitely worth checking out for the atmosphere alone. A great spot for a casual date night or a couple of drinks with some good food.”

“Randomly came upon The Brighton, walked in and immediately felt a New Orleans vibe which was delightful. A good ole dive bar feeling where one can relax and be yourself. The staff were amazing, specifically Hubert who provided a laid-back vibe and very good conversation while I sat at the bar. Hubert was working hard pouring drinks and making Nachos for a growing mix of ppl coming from the Lamb of God concert. The 2 girls waiting on customers were also pleasant and down to earth. The music was an eclectic mix of old school rock all the way to the 80’s, 90’s and current metal. Loved it! The place was open late with No Pressure to get during last call. If you’re in Vancouver go, see Hubert at The Brighton before or after a concert at the Coliseum, or a drink to sit back and look at all the awesome memorabilia on the walls.”
“Novamente no Osuchi, e repetimos a experiência e expressamos o bom atendimento com Isabela Yui e Alek, que nos trataram com velhos amigos Sugerindo especialidades da casa , degustada com toda satisfação. Recomendo e voltarei, pois tenho uma estadia de 30 dias em Vancouver e voltarei muitas vezes, parabéns a equipe atenciosa.”
“Our office of 25 did a Chop Chop Beat the Clock with Skript Kitchen in June. Everyone learned how to make a Thai sauce base and we competed in teams to make the best dish. Everyone had so much fun and it was a wonderful team-building experience. Renee was well organized, patient with us (very much needed in a big loud group!) and taught us some little tricks, as well as sharing recipes with us after. Her assistant Camila was excellent with organizing behind the scenes. Seating is a bit uncomfortable for longer periods like ours but otherwise would highly recommend.”
“Ate there today (first time)-it was busy and not surprising as the quality is excellent and one of the few places where the chips are crispy and not soggy like most places. My only suggestion is that they pile too many chips in the basket & I couldn't finish all of them !”

“Food was great. Good portions and taste was good. Owners were very friendly. Hot sauce is actually hot which I was happy to see.
My only complaint is don’t pay them in USD use a credit card. They don’t use any type of exchange rate. My total was $57 and some change in CAD and I handed them $60 USD and he gave me $2 and change back in USD. I didn’t feel quite as bad since they gave us some Prawns for “free” but definitely was $15 difference in CAD and USD”
“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“First time in Canada. Checked out a couple of bars while in Toronto. CRAFT in Toronto was the one for me. Great vibe. Very mellow. Huge variety of Canadian beers which I found to be more flavorful than American beers. Unbeatable service and hospitality from the manager to the hostess and everyone in between. The two nights I spent there were without a doubt the most pleasant bar experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks a lot for making my stay in Toronto the best it could be.”
“Made feel very welcome by the friendly staff, stylish decor and subdued lighting with seating that was spacious to provide that intimate atmosphere. Menu was extensive and the food was great, particularly loved the treacle sponge 😋 Bar area had TVs and music was playing for those that wanted a more social vibe.”
“We have recently dined at the Dockside Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The waterfront view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning. We’ve ordered their Seafood Linguine, truffle fries and Cod. All dishes were full of flavour and beautifully presented I just wish the portions would be bigger as the entrees look almost like appetizers.”

“Sushi Hyun Omakase is an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, Chef Hyun greeted us with genuine warmth, telling us that this was his dream restaurant—a space he built from the ground up to share his passion. Throughout the evening, he spoke with reverence about his ingredients, working exclusively with wild fish from Japan, and about the trust he’s built with both his customers and suppliers. Each dish was crafted with precision and care, and his storytelling made every bite even more meaningful. The wine list is equally impressive, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu. Chef Hyun’s dedication shines through in every detail, making this not just a meal but a deeply personal experience. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who values exceptional food and genuine hospitality.”
“if you're looking for that exclusive feel with a speakeasy vibe, Lala below June is where it's at. the food was incredible - highly recommend the beef tartare - drinks on point. Prices arent for the faint of heart. But worth the quality, attention to detail, and overall service.”

“I would have taken a photo but I couldnt stop eating. Best sandwich ever. Good prices and really good portions- from amount of meat, lots of cheese, perfect amount of sauce and the foccasia... so, so good. Service was also beyond top notch. If I could give it more stars I would, highly recommend because everyone needs to try them. Thank you!”
“✨ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Caspian Flame! ✨
I’m truly happy to share my experience at Caspian Flame! The atmosphere is amazingly beautiful, and the food is simply outstanding. 🍽❤
Every dish is full of authentic taste, rich flavours, and incredible freshness. You can really feel the passion and care behind the food. The service and hospitality were also exceptional—the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind.
I highly recommend Caspian Flame for friends and family, whether you’re planning a special meal together or simply want to enjoy some delicious food by yourself.
🌟 Authentic flavours • Beautiful atmosphere • Great hospitality • Highly recommended! 🌟
Definitely a place worth visiting! ❤”
“This hidden Kits spot serves a carbonara so good it feels like a glitch in the matrix—especially considering the chef has only been cooking it for three months.
Every bite is pure perfection. The portion size hits the absolute sweet spot—satisfyingly rich without leaving you weighed down—and the price point is almost absurdly generous for the neighbourhood.
I wish I had taken a picture before I devoured it, but you’ll have to take my word for it that this is not a place to sleep on.”
