“Miso Taco offers up Japanese-Mexican fusion food. Went on a weekend and tried their brunch menu. We tried a few different dishes to share including the Kimchi Nacho Fries, Sizzling Cheese And Sauteed Mushrooms, and Tempura Enoki.
For myself I tried the Breakfast Burrito which was huge. I had it with Chicken Karaage and it was delicious.
My only issue is that they don't seem to offer simple chips and salsa. They have so many great salsas and I would've loved to have a simple way to try and enjoy them.”

“Lovely experience ordering the chef’s choice set menu, getting a diverse array of dishes to try! The beet salad was a great portion size, as sometimes I feel other restaurants skimp out on the actual quantity of beets. The saffron pasta was the star dish for my wife, while I very much enjoyed the fish with the rich cream sauce. The tart for dessert was also surprisingly good, with a thin, delicate crust and a flavourful fruit and cream filling. Extremely satisfied with the meal and would recommend trying their set meal if you come in the future!”

“Kissa Tanto elegantly blends the Japanese and Italian flavors to deliver one of the city’s best dining experiences. The name Kissa Tanto is another fusion of Japan and Italy, with kissa refering to the Japanese jazz cafes of the 1960s and tanto simply meaning “a lot” in Italian. The fusion at Kissa Tanto is perhaps inspired by chef owner Joël Watanabe’s mixed heritage (his father is Japanese while is mother is Corsican-French Canadian).

The interior at Kissa Tanto is stunning, with Pete Wells accurately describing the design as a set from a David Lynch movie. The standout on the menu are the tajarin with butter, cheese, miso-cured egg yolk and black truffles. They are things legends are made of and better than most tajarin I’ve had in Piedmont. The whole fried fish at Kissa Tanto was deliciously tender.”

I know what a good fish should taste like -- and this is it!  The combination of subtle umi (natural sea) and sweet citrus flavours create quite an exquisite food orgasmic experience, LoL. "OMG, Ummmm, this is excellent quality" were the  foody exchanges between two seafood lovers for the full two hours.Vancouver has tons of sushi restaurants - but Sushi Hil indeed deserves its Michelin star guide placement.Reservation is a must here.”

“I recently dined at Indian Oven and had a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, providing a perfect setting for a cozy meal.

The food was exceptional. I started with the samosas, which were crispy and flavorful. For the main course, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Rogan Josh. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices and flavors. The naan was fresh and fluffy, perfect for scooping up the delicious sauces.

The service was prompt and friendly. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Overall, Indian Oven offers an authentic Indian dining experience with delicious food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone craving a flavorful Indian meal”

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”

Very friendly and outgoing but not smothering or annoying. They were there when needed but gone when they were not so that I could enjoy a private, romantic evening with the love of my life, the food was delicious and the drinks were perfect , all in all it was a wonderful and memorable night and I would recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line dining experience when it comes to not only grade "A" cuisine ,but service second to none that I have had the pleasure of receiving thus far! “A nice local gateway to French-Canadian cuisine in a vibrant part of town. The cocktails here are on point - definitely try the Komura if you like dirty martinis. The Est-Ouest is another great cocktail, and the restaurants rendition of a manhattan. I got mine in a rocks glass.

Food portions and pacing were good. Was a bit disappointed in that the server offered to give us a listing of the wines for the wine pairing but we never got it after the meal. We upgraded one of our entrees to the dry-aged steak, which was a good sized sharing portion and flavorful cut of meat.

Overall, worth a visit.

I am requesting a & w to send this girl for 2 weeks to train the girls working at a & w Broadway in Coquitlam/ port Coquitlam. That a & w has worst customer service. Girls keep on talking to each other and laughing while taking the order. If you ask something not to add, they will add and vice versa. This happened many times on Friday and Saturday night.

“The biggest perks of this bakery is that they’re open 24/7 and the second one is that they have so many sweet and savory treats that you can enjoy. And the third one is that the taste and quality of the treats are very good.

We came here on an evening and ordered coffee with some delicious desserts and enjoyed them. Then we ordered some breakfast sandwiches and croissants for takeout.

I strongly recommend “Ham & Cheese Melt” and “Chocolate & Almond Croissant”.”
