“Beautiful restaurant decor is top tier lots of greenery maybe the best wait staff experience I’ve had in Vancouver. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and food and drinks were gorgeous and tasty.”
“If you are like me and growing up in a household with “traditional, slow cooked, 12 hours on the stove” kinda’ dishes were just another regular Tuesday night dinner, you know those flavours and dishes are almost impossible to find elsewhere. La Tana has managed to create the same flavours, dishes and love that I remember so dearly sharing with my family around the table. Thank you La Tana”
“Went for the Lunar New Year dinner. The food was amazing. The staff was even better. The New Moon cocktail was incredible.”

“Absolutely loved our night at the Keefer Bar! Our bartender was lovely, the cocktails were fantastic and we loved the food too! Highly recommend!”
“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!”
“Overall experience here was great! The food was super fresh, customer service was on point as expected and the atmosphere was incredibly lively. There’s so much happening here which can get a bit overwhelming, especially with all of the clashing sounds. You’ve got the main music, birthday celebrations with tambourines and the hand pulled noodle guy that walks around with his own speaker! On top of that, it’s also incredibly busy. The only thing that genuinely made my table uncomfortable was the noodle guy. He came to our table and hit our friend in the face and head with the noodle multiple times. At first it was funny, but as it kept going we got increasingly more uncomfortable. He hit all 3 of us in the faces and the entire experience made us feel really weird. Other than that, everything else was great. The waiting area is super spacious and they have lots to do to keep you distracted and busy while you wait!”

“Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!”
“word on the street is this is a must try if you like Vietnamese & you’re in Vancouver - modern takes on traditional dishes by an acclaimed chef.”
“amazing food especially ghee roast kaju biryani and the presence, nature of treating customers is too good. I recommend dhamaka to all with there loved onces.”
“BEST IRISH PUB IN VANCOUVER”
“I've hired Pizza Catering Vancouver twice for corporate events, and both times they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food! They also offered excellent gluten-free and vegan options, which were much appreciated. This team is my go-to for catering, I can’t recommend them highly enough. A true 10/10 experience!”
“Outstanding to die for real authentic Indian food. You gotta try it at least once in your life.”
“Food is very thai authentic & delicious. Mango sticky rice is so artistic and so good.”
“Lotus root very fresh and crispy even on day 2 of eating. Peking duck crispy, good size pan-fried beef portions, fresh mushrooms. $7 for Tato's small size takeout container of your meat or vegetable selection. Fast service, thanks.”
“The best local Vietnamese cuisine! A must try for the authentic Vietnam flavours 😍”
“Banh Mi Saigon is a popular spot for a reason. The banh mi sandwiches are flavorful, made with fresh, crispy bread and generous fillings. It’s a great place for a quick, satisfying meal, and the prices are reasonable for the quality.
What really stands out, though, are the desserts. They are surprisingly good — fresh, tasty, and a perfect sweet finish after the savory sandwiches. Many people overlook them, but they’re definitely worth trying.
Service is fast and efficient, and while it’s a no-frills, take-out-only place, the food speaks for itself. Overall, Banh Mi Saigon is a solid choice in Vancouver for both authentic banh mi and delicious desserts, and it’s easy to see why it remains a local favorite.”
“Found this amazing restaurant on Davie street across from the Sandman. Tasty amazing vegan dishes at an incredibly reasonable price!!! 10/10 We will be back!”
“Little bit of a late post but me and my girlfriend came here for the valentines special menu. It was amazing and the service was really thoughtful. Our server was Aaron, and he was very kind and made terrific suggestions. He was very honest too and suggested I get the Sablefish rather than their steak. I was very happy I did make that decision as the food was top notch. They gave complimentary bread with a very nice hummus style spread. The appetizers were very tasty, especially the crab cakes. The desert was also super delicious, the tiramisu had quite a strong orange profile to it. The $50 whiskey flight from a japanese distiller was also quite smooth and tasty. Overall will visit again and ask for Aaron!”

“The food is great but the service makes it outstanding.
Shoutout to Daniel, Chloe, and chef Felix for making this dining experience top tier.
Atmosphere is beautiful, moody, every detail feels intentional.
Standout was the pappardelle. Oysters always good. Tiramisu also delicious.
The pork - UNREAL. The juiciest, soft/qq, overall just a great bite.
Come with friends and share a lot. Come yourself and sit at the bar. Either way, worth checking out.”

“Every grain of rice, every slice of fish contains the weight of their dedication and respect to the food and culture.
It was an edible performance!
We tried their lunch menu first and It was such a wonderful experience.
We will definitely return for the dinner course!
Michelin well deserved!”
“Finally got here. Nothing but good things. Place was swamped. Still got seated within 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and on top of it all! Food came fast, hot, and delicious. Definitely be back and highly recommend.”
“We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering”

“Great little spot for an elevated sushi experience. It’s a very small restaurant so make a reso. The attentive but non-disruptive service is appreciated, as the tables are quite small so the tidying is a nice touch. The prices are not cheap, for example, my nigiri set was $65. Pay street parking is available so arrive early for your reso to snag a spot nearby.”

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.”
“Shayla, our server, was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu thoroughly and made excellent recommendations that we were glad to try. The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish. We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding. For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor. We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!”
“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”
“Very cozy restaurant, I highly recommend the Bigoli Nero - the best tasting seafood pasta I've ever had. The staff provided friendly and excellent service too.”
“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!”

“My family and I were there Boxing Day and the staff were very friendly. We couldn’t decide between Butter Chicken pizza or BBQ Chicken pizza, but the guy suggested to do half and half. Great suggestion so we can all get what we wanted. When the pizza was ready, the clerk tried handing me the pizza, but cause the end of the glass counter was curved, the pizza tipped and slid together in the box. We were so hungry and told him it’s ok, we can just eat it anyways, but they were very kind and let us keep that pizza and made a fresh one right away. Awesome service and staff and very fresh yummy pizza! Thank you again for the wonderful service!”
“This morning was one of those where you get up late for work and to top it off the bus is going without you, it made me happy to stop by a cafe and a muffin the smile that the girls gave me made me feel good, very few places have this service, I am very grateful.”
“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“I only eat halal food but honestly if you guys serve halal food every donair shop in Canada will shut down. I’m forced to eat zesty paneer vegetarian wrap or the soya chap veg wrap which is really good because your meat is not halal. My younger brother who does not care abt halal says your chicken tikka wrap is the best wrap he’s had in Canada. Pls consider adding halal options for chicken so people who want halal can eat it.”
“I’ve been to just about every Subway in the Lower Mainland. That’s how much I genuinely love Subway. And I can confidently say this is the best location in all of Vancouver.
What makes it special? It’s not just the location, even though I work a minute away. It’s not just the ingredients, since most Subways are pretty consistent. It’s the people.
The staff here work harder than almost anyone I know, and I have friends in some pretty labour-intensive jobs. If Subway had an Olympic sandwich-making team, Aman from this location would be the captain, bringing home gold for Canada.
And here’s where it gets even better. I walk in and I’m greeted with the warmest smile, like I’m a regular at a neighbourhood café instead of a sandwich chain. Most of the time, they already know what I’m about to order.
For the record, it’s a 6” Black Forest ham on Italian herbs and cheese, loaded in a very specific way: lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, green peppers, red onions, pickles, a generous amount of black olives, jalapeños, banana peppers, then finished with mustard, mayo, and some salt and pepper. Yes, it’s a serious sandwich. And somehow, they nail it every single time.
Every sandwich is built with intention. And yes, the order matters. This isn’t random sandwich assembly. This is strategy. This is craftsmanship. This is basically sandwich architecture.
I don’t usually write reviews, but not saying anything about this place feels like a crime. Possibly a federal one.
If you’re anywhere near Yaletown, or honestly anywhere in downtown Vancouver, and you want a sandwich done properly, you have to stop by.
You will not be disappointed.”
“We were over visiting our son and had a wonderful meal with great service and very reasonably priced”

“All i have to say is WOW. This new spot is clean, simple and the staff is SO wonderful!! It’s been a while since i’ve had this good of service. I got the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was sooo sweet and genuine. Now for the food, delicious!! One of the best smash patties i’ve had—the skirt of the beef was so crispy and flavorful. Paired perfectly with the mayo and cheese in my burger. They even gave me a free cookie - which was also delicious.
So so impressed!! i will be back!”

“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!”
“My wife tried Mr. Shawarma on Robson last night and after she offered me a bite I had to go back and order one for myself - so good! As well, the personal touch and friendly vibe of the chef and team made my whole trip downtown feel worth it. I will build a trip to Mr. Shawarma into my downtown trips from now on!”
“We have lunched and dinned here for decades, through changes and renovations.
The service attained and maintained a consistent level of efficiency and courtesy for the last 2 decades.
We enjoy the dim sums which are always delicate, light but flavourful.
For dinner, some spectacular dishes require pre-orders. We always enjoyed the braised duck on a bed of savoury mixed mushroom (forgot the proper name of the dish), and many more.”
“I had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food is amazing. The fish & chip, tartar sauce, slaw and fries are out of this world. Definitely worth the trip! Food was served fast and service was outstanding.
Merci à Mélodie pour le bon service en français!!”
“What a great place to go for a drink.
Big selection of beers. We had a flight of 3 beers from Changing Colors all were delicious. We were suprised the flights were so big, I think they were 14oz.
This place has great atmosphere and vibes and was definitely a highlight of our bar experiences. Will definitely return.”
“If Indian cuisine is your thing stop in at 6482 Victoria Drive Vancouver. Outstanding tastes and textures. A delightful family will prepare you food that you will leave you wanting to write a review. Their spiced "hot" dishes were outrageous last evening. My group is returning again tonight to enjoy some other dishes. The potions will fill you comfortably. You will leave well served, and thankful for your visit. The price point is so reasonable. If you are as fortunate as we were you will find a parking spot right in front of Nirvana!”
“Over many years of meals and events, I recently discovered Hawksworth's Cocktail Hour in its cozy lounge. Every seat in the room is a comfy one, though I favour saddling up to the bar. You will always find a cocktail or wine to your liking. We usually order near everything from the food menu. Sometimes wagyu, currently prosciutto, always oysters. Main reason I keep coming back is the people. Service in this space never disappoints. I have favourites, of course. You know who you are...”
“Food is absolutely amazing and tasty however very pricey for their small portions, especially the green curry halibut. My additional take out order, My husband thought it was small leftover and not a new order. Great service!”

“We ordered the set menu and everything was amazing! I haven’t been to a place where I was wowed by every dish for a while and the Mackenzie absolutely nailed the menu. The uni pate (the chicken of the sea) was so delicious that we ordered uni pate again at a different place with different seasoning and it’s not even close. Loved the cocktails too!”
“I’ve been coming to this Freshslice location for a while now, and every time I walk in, I wish I get served from Mehak. She is seriously one of the friendliest and most helpful staff members I’ve ever met at any pizza place!
Last night I was trying to decide between a few slices and she patiently explained all the current deals, suggested the best combos, and even made sure my Butter Chicken slice came out extra fresh and hot. Her positive energy and big smile made the whole experience so much better – especially after a long day.
The pizza is always solid but Mehak is the real MVP here. Fast, polite, great communication, and genuinely seems to enjoy making customers happy.
If you’re in the area, come during her shift – you’ll leave with great pizza and good vibes! Highly recommend this location because of awesome team members like Mehak. Keep it up! 🍕🙌 highly recommended to vist this store”
“The food was pretty tasty and the service was phenomenal.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our time together here and would definitely come back to try out some other dishes that this place offers.
My girlfriend had gotten the Pad Kee Mao Drunken Noodles and I got the Yellow Curry with Potatoes and a side of Coconut Rice.
Although I had to pay extra for a side of rice that doesn't come along with the curry, it isn't worthy of losing a star.”
“Best Happy Hour in downtown. Absolutely delicious menu and a very nice location, staff, environment.”

Fine Dining
“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.”
“Went here for Dine Out Can. The tuna starter and trout main (as well as the pudding dessert I was too impatient to photograph) were all phenomenal. Highly recommend adding a baked oyster to start. The cocktail list was amazing. I can’t wait to go back to try other dishes. Next time I will request a seat in the back room rather than on the loft for more ambiance. Service staff were top notch. Thx for a lovely experience.”
“My wife and I go to Five Sails every year for our wedding anniversary because we've never been disappointed or dissatisfied here. Even though it appears there has been an overhaul since the last time we came, they didn't fail to impress. The staff were personable, informative, and the food was phenomenal.”
“It’s still best to me in Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver
Been here over decades
Chefs highly reputable and professional
Shop is decent and not those super high end fancy modern type
Great for dating and experience authentic style. Nothing fancy, don’t expect like lighting, games or whatever.
They sell “food” “fresh” Chef’s skill. The traditional Sushi Arts
It’s fixed
I sit along the bar table
Chat with chef and view what his skill and explanation of each dishes.
Great info on how those food come from and how they are processed and when arrived YVR and how they source it and how rare it is for some dishes
He use his experience to work on different circumstances like late delivery or quality from JP local market QA information. Then he decide what to deal with it
Quality is high end. No doubt and no complaints
Staff are super nice and helpful
Love the vipe and feel like back in local Japanese Omakase restaurants
It’s pricey but worth it.
6pm and 8pm seatings
Make reservations!”
“Though it's only Jan, quite sure this will be one of the best dining experiences of the year, if not the top. Everyone and everything was perfect from the time we sat down till our departure. Great people, food, and space. Easily one of the nicest rooms in Van... And that wine cellar! Thanks Carl et al”
“Phenomenal food. We both got the chef’s tasting menu & everything was very well thought and executed to the littlest details. We were served by Max & Andrew, both of whom must be passionate about what they do from what we could tell. My guess is that if you’re into delicious food, you’ll find your way to Suyo’s door.”
“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!”
“Wonderful, attentive, and friendly service. The portions are perfectly sized. Not too much but not too little. Pricing, while note cheap, is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food that you're getting. A wonderful gem hidden in Kits. I highly recommend this to anyone. My bet is that you'll be left wanting to come back again.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from beginning to end, drinks to food, all great. I cant remember what was in the oysters that we were given but that sauce was so good. And the clarified fruit loops cocktail was super interesting, unique experience and will be going again for sure.”
“I’ve been here a few times. The waiters and waitresses are extremely educated and their options are all extremely good, from pastas to seafood and many more. The atmosphere of the restaurant, especially being that it’s a house that was transformed into a fine dining spot, is spot on, never been disappointed with their food nor their service. Definitely coming back”
“Great food and service! Love going there when I’m in Vancouver.”

“The photo attached is the 2nd plate of food. Why the 2nd plate of food you might ask?
The first dish I had, the teriyaki chicken, was so good I ended up devouring it. Didn't have time for a photo. I had to get another plate of something so I got a beef dish, Also a phenomenal dish. Both dishes took me by surprise on the flavours and generous portions they give out.
You kinda feel at home in there. The cooking feels like home cooking. The people are pleasant and welcoming.”
“Had the Sunday sauce! Omg! Watch for it because it doesn’t happen every day! I’m just saying this is the real deal it’s rich and meaty and most decadent sauce. Fun place to stop in and shop for Italian ingredients too, I love the relaxed style of take out and all the choices.”
“To Live For is worth driving from another country to visit! I live in the US, but make the drive frequently to enjoy their incredible baked goods, both sweet and savory. It is such a welcoming environment with incredible staff too. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near East Vancouver!”
“Discovered Puerto Mexico last week and I’ve already been twice! Their bean tacos are soooooo good and cheap! I got 4 tacos for $16 I think. Best authentic tacos in Vancouver hands down. I’ve been telling everyone about this place because it’s just so good. The staff are so so friendly as well! Highly recommend”
“I love coming to Talavera for lunch! The food is soooo good and their desserts are my favourite. I love the traditional Mexican pastries. It’s a really cute family owned and operated business and I’d love to see more of these kind of places in Vancouver. I have recommended this place to all my friends💫❤️”
“We had a Superflux beer at another location and decided to try the brewery (we were doing one a day this trip). Very beautiful industrial style space with a great beer selection and excellent food.”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“During my visit to Hyderabadi Biryani House with four friends, we had a delightful dining experience that truly showcased the restaurant's expertise in traditional Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was a highlight, with its soft, fluffy texture and rich garlic flavor that perfectly complemented the meal. The veg dum biryani was equally impressive, offering a fragrant mix of spices and perfectly cooked rice that provided a satisfying, hearty dish. The veg curries were another standout, with their rich, aromatic gravies and fresh vegetables that delivered a burst of authentic flavors. The meal was a fantastic experience, with these dishes standing out as the stars of the evening.”
“Perfect place for seafood lovers and delicious desserts selection.”
“Friendly, knowledgeable bar staff who crafted cocktails based on what we like to drink! Speakeasy vibes. Definitely check out this cute, funky bar!”
“Had the most amazing family style menu of the chefs choices. Excellent food and service.”
“Delicioso sabor, buenos condimentos, cocina al momento, 💯% recomendado!!!”
“The three of us and a dog came to Nonna’s Cucina on East Hastings for the first time after seeing it several times while driving by. We each ordered the rigatoni dish and in our opinion the quality was at par with Oca and La Tana. Very tasty and flavorful, and good portions. It was so neat to be served on pretty china instead of on a cardboard container. One of the staff came out while we were waiting at our table for our dishes and he was so kind to give our friend’s dog some bits of ham to enjoy! We are so glad to have tried this place out and we will definitely be returning again soon!”
“We had a stellar experience at this venue yesterday. The service was up to par and the menu was amazing. I can't say I have any complaints at all!”
“My wife and I go to Five Sails every year for our wedding anniversary because we've never been disappointed or dissatisfied here. Even though it appears there has been an overhaul since the last time we came, they didn't fail to impress. The staff were personable, informative, and the food was phenomenal.”
“I have eaten at other Michelin restaurants before and this is my top. By far the best service, best food, everything is exemplary.”
“We were looking for an authentic Lebanese restaurant in BC. Don’t pass Mazahr’s for lunch or dinner. Food was excellent!!!!!!”
“I ate at Zarak last night for the first time and I was blown away. Every Single Dish was spectacular!!! The portions were generous, the flavours are like nothing I have ever experienced and the cocktails... Run don't Walk to Zarak. Special mention: The service was great. All the staff were attentive, informative and happy. What a treat. I will be back!”
“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.”
“I was just here on may 5th 2024. this was the first time having a5 wagyu and it did not disappoint. the service was top notch the food was amazing. I will be back. please put the tomato bisque soup on the everyday menu.”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“This tea shop in Vancouver Chinatown is a true gem for tea lovers and anyone curious about the world of tea. The quality and diversity of their teas are exceptional. Whether you're looking for delicate white teas, robust pu-erhs, or fragrant oolongs, they have an incredible selection that caters to all tastes and preferences. Each tea is carefully sourced, and you can really tell the care and expertise that goes into curating their offerings. The owner Daniel's passion for tea is infectious, and his knowledge is both deep and approachable. During a tea-tasting session, he guided us through a curated selection, explaining the nuances of each variety and how to properly savor them. It was a relaxing and educational experience, and I left with a greater appreciation for the art of tea. Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or just starting to explore, The Chinese Tea Shop is a welcoming and enriching place to visit. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of their wonderful teas and the chance to learn from Daniel's expertise.”
“Everything was just so good! Spicy Salmon Roll, Unagi Roll, Salmon Sashimi, Chicken Teriyaki, Tuna Nigiri, Salmon Nigiri, Tamago Nigiri. Absolute Sushi Paradise!”
“Had Fantastic service our waiter Darshil was very nice and polite always came by asking how the food was and if he could help with anything else. We got our food and drinks really fast. We definitely will be going back all of the food was amazing!.”
“Alley 16 is a unique dining experience. Cooking your own food makes the meal feel fun. The quality really stands out. High end beef and seafood. It's interactive, memorable and perfect for a group dinner.”
“Great food, the owner comes around to every table asking how everything was. His passion is cooking and the restaurant has been around for forty years. Nice interior, open and child friendly.”
“I didn’t like pizza, but Rocky Mountain Flatbread changed my mind. Great service, well priced, delicious food, lots of options for everyone. Recommended.”
“It was awesome, great food, fantastic drinks and unbelievable company! ❤️❤️❤️”
“Afghan Horseman never disappoints… my husband and I have been coming here for over 30 years and now it has become a favourite of our kids also. The food…delicious, the atmosphere… unique & cozy, the service… we are always treated like family and we were honoured to be included in their 50th Anniversary celebration this year. Tonight we enjoyed another fabulous dinner experience and we got to share it with our friend from Germany who loved it. Thank you to all our friends at Afghan, we look forward to dining with you in 2025!”
“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.”
“Highly recommend! Food, services and the environment are PERFECT!!! Definitely will recommend to everyone around me!”
“Conveniently located in Gastown, this tight space restaurant just wins my heart. Upon seating we were notified about the two-hour dining time. Since it’s our first time, the server briefly went over the menu in quite a fast pace - we definitely feel the pressure to speed up the order and dinning experience. This is the least favourite part of the entire evening. Exceptional food - the beef tongue cold appetizer is delightfully pleasant and tasty. The premium sashimi platter is plentiful with various types of sashimi with decent thickness. Totally love it. The bluefin tuna hand roll is good. The beef tongue steak with teriyaki sauce is very juicy, soft, tender and melt in the mouth. We genuinely enjoy the food. Wish the service can be less rushed and it would be the perfect dining experience. Overall, highly recommend.”
“wow this is amazing! I had the gluten free Crist with all vegan options. so delicious. you have to try it!!”
“One of our favourite places to go for pizza - always delicious and the atmosphere is lively and fun 🤩”
“Amazing service from Olivia. This lady is one of the best if not the best servers I have ever had at any restaurant bar-none!!”
“Highly recommend Wildlight Kitchen + Bar. Chef Warren Chow is one of the best chef's in the city! Whether its a special occassion or just a night out, its a great spot to visit.”
“One of the very best Japanese restaurants in the city. Reasonable prices and home style Japanese food. Worth the wait. Come early.”
“Been coming here for like 10 years now, and their food is always delicious and fresh. They care about good food quality and service so it’s always a treat coming here.”
“Amazing food 10/10 heard about it from a friend, will definitely be back”
“Delicious Thai Gem !
Went with my son, we shared lettuce wraps with beef, I had the Pad Grapao with chicken, basil and fluffy eggs over rice, what great flavours, while sipping an iced green tea, Yum”
“absolutely 💯 the food, service, and room are all amazing”
“we did the all you can eat. so much delicious food and the servers are super attentive. highly recommend”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Glad I was able to find Sapporo Soup Curry in Vancouver again! Fun decorations and set-up that almost feels like I'm in Okinawa. I would recommend this place for drinks and small bites, but the price can definitely add up.”
“Fantastic Italian restaurant with fresh, authentic flavours. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauces were rich but balanced, and the service was warm and attentive. The ambiance is cozy without feeling crowded. Highly recommended.”
“My favourite burger restaurant and one of my favourite restaurants in general in Vancouver. I crave vonns like every day all the time. Amazing food and great service I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!!”
“Enjoyed the vibe, fast friendly service. Food was good and delicious 👍👍”
“Recommended here by one of our Nurse friends, so we dropped by for an early lunch today w/ my 2 coworkers. Sooo yummy! First impression? Delish!!! huge servings & the use of fluffy brown rice was the determining factor of the meal NOT being gastro-heavy! Very nice presentation! Good size servings! Will definitely return on another lunchbreak! yummmmmy!”
“Been coming here since the early years. Happy to say it still hits anytime I get a craving for this place. The space is lively and food is consistently... Guu.
One new thing is seating time- 2 hours.”
“Yummy food and avocado 🥑 salad 🥗 was delicious! I love sushi and I would come back here again! The rolls were a good size and super tasty. Great area to walk around and enjoy before or after the meal.”
“Mount Everest Kitchen & Grill, Canada 🇨🇦 A perfect place to experience delicious food, warm hospitality, and authentic flavors. Once you visit, you’ll definitely want to come back again. Highly recommended for everyone!”
“Excellent Amritsari Kulcha. This is an excellent Indian restaurant. Also the staff are exceptional. Must try restaurant”
“The pho here is DELICIOUS. I was looking for a place to eat at downtown in this cold and rainy weather, and I stumbled across this hidden gem! I ordered a bowl of Pho, and might I say, it was the best bowl of pho EVER!! The warm rich broth really warmed me up and the my server was also very polite :) The portion is very generous with a fair price. This restaurant will definitely be my go-to viet restaurant from now on.”

“I love this place and I believe in supporting small family run businesses! This place is welcoming , comfortable and the brother sister duo is pleasant to see! These 2 make great coffee and serve simple fresh everyday dishes. When you need something on the run or want to chill and enjoy the crazy atmosphere and conversations on the drive, this is your place. I enjoy that everyone knows everyone like a Cheers vibe! These days people are so reserved and quiet and this place everyone talks openly and you get to just be yourself, no place like it! Thanks for being a part of pour community!”
“Randomly came upon The Brighton, walked in and immediately felt a New Orleans vibe which was delightful. A good ole dive bar feeling where one can relax and be yourself. The staff were amazing, specifically Hubert who provided a laid-back vibe and very good conversation while I sat at the bar. Hubert was working hard pouring drinks and making Nachos for a growing mix of ppl coming from the Lamb of God concert. The 2 girls waiting on customers were also pleasant and down to earth. The music was an eclectic mix of old school rock all the way to the 80’s, 90’s and current metal. Loved it! The place was open late with No Pressure to get during last call. If you’re in Vancouver go, see Hubert at The Brighton before or after a concert at the Coliseum, or a drink to sit back and look at all the awesome memorabilia on the walls.”
“This was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, the owner was hilarious and made fantastic jokes throughout the meal, he served us food and told stories that were fantastic. The environment is very wholesome and pure and every employee is rushing and working extremely hard to serve amazing food that is not only the best crepes I’ve ever had but at a really reasonable price. If you’re in the area and have an appetite for even a snack, you definitely should go here for a drinks dm crepe”
“Novamente no Osuchi, e repetimos a experiência e expressamos o bom atendimento com Isabela Yui e Alek, que nos trataram com velhos amigos Sugerindo especialidades da casa , degustada com toda satisfação. Recomendo e voltarei, pois tenho uma estadia de 30 dias em Vancouver e voltarei muitas vezes, parabéns a equipe atenciosa.”
“My first visit today following recommendations from 2 friends and it was a great experience. Friendly staff and totally delicious bread for my prosciutto and brie sandwich and truly excellent coffee in my cappuccino. Will certainly be visiting again. when i am in he area and all best wishes to the owners and staff for this gem to thrive.”
“Ate there today (first time)-it was busy and not surprising as the quality is excellent and one of the few places where the chips are crispy and not soggy like most places. My only suggestion is that they pile too many chips in the basket & I couldn't finish all of them !”
“We had my mother's 80th celebration catered by Eat Heritage, looking for a Chinese traditional feast-type ambience, and the food didn't disappoint. Everybody had favourites, but the duck went especially quickly, and the kids dug into the fully loaded fried rice and veggie spring rolls. Me, I was all about the black sesame balls which people appreciated despite having to eat them as dessert when they were already stuffed. We had a nice mix of vegetarian and meatlover dishes with leftovers divvied up after the celebration. Completely happy with the catering service!”

“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for more of their delicious dishes!”
“Feb 4/26. We were there for Dine out Vancouver, although the hostess did not offer us that menu when we arrived, the food was good the service was very good. Appetizers were beet carpaccio, the waitress made sure we realized we were ordering beet and not beef. It was good but the whipped goat cheese needed a stronger flavour such as blue or a feta cheese. And grilled prawns which were excellent, although there was not enough crostini for the amount of the lovely buttery garlic sauce. Main courses were a grilled salmon and beef short rib, both were excellent and substantial. However, the beef was supposed to come with a celeriac puree which I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately the celeriac puree was not available, even though the Granville Island Market was just down the street and it was an early 5:30 reservation. However, the coliflower puree was nice, its not the same. Deserts, creme brulee and tiramisu were ok but not really exciting. But, as mentioned earlier the service was excellent.

Food and service were both very good. A little on the pricey side and limited menu options.”
“A highly recommended brew pub from friends who have visited Vancouver. Great friendly staff and a busy place on a Friday night and I would suspect all the time.
Terrific local brews but, sadly, their kitchen was a bit rushed and my FISH AND CHIPS selection was disappointing. Chips were terrific .....cooked crisp as requested with a lovely flavour but the fish batter wasn't drained properly and fried too thick which overwhelmed the taste and completely lost the fish.”
“First time in Canada. Checked out a couple of bars while in Toronto. CRAFT in Toronto was the one for me. Great vibe. Very mellow. Huge variety of Canadian beers which I found to be more flavorful than American beers. Unbeatable service and hospitality from the manager to the hostess and everyone in between. The two nights I spent there were without a doubt the most pleasant bar experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks a lot for making my stay in Toronto the best it could be.”
“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!”

“An incredible omakase experience! It felt like I was transported back to Japan when I dined here for our wedding anniversary. I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and Chef Ju Hyun Lee was so friendly and engaged us in conversation throughout the night. It is very easy to tell that he is passionate about what he does and it shows in the way he communicates and presents each dish. The quality of the fish, presentation, and quantity of dishes exceeded all of my expectations. Save this place for a special occasion because it will be a very memorable dining experience!”

“Had the most delicious meal here with my dad! This will be our new go to Thai restaurant! Our waitress Cindy was so sweet and welcoming. I really hope we get her next time we dine here. Highly highly recommend”
“Such a great small locally owned delicious restaurant. Atmosphere was great food was even better. 10/10 for everything extremely kind and friendly staff. All meals were made with extreme care and real Italian style. Recommend that groups bigger than 8 call ahead and they will be more than willing to welcome and accommodate for you and your party.”
“I've come here a few times to eat-in and for take-out. The service is always fast & staff are efficient & friendly! There's also tables and a washroom (which is also well-maintained). The portions & price are good value as I sometimes even spilt a burrito into 2 meals. It's my current go-to place to satisfy my burrito cravings & I'd recommend it!”
“We visited last Friday night and have been there a couple of times before. This place never disappoints, but this visit was even better thanks to our server, Viviriana. She was very engaging and made the experience feel special, even though we had been there before. The atmosphere is amazing, the cocktails are perfectly crafted, and they offer some great snacks that pair really well with the drinks. We’ll definitely be back again!”
“Tried this place on Sunday and the people on the desk helped me decide my order. The tandoori chicken sandwich was perfect for a light breakfast and a must. And the latte was as good as it gets. I chose this coz this was very close to hotel Georgian Court where I was staying but this place in Yaletown needs more hype and I recommend it too all my friends traveling to Yaletown.”
