“Food and service were excellent. Not a big space so definitely recommend reservations in advance. Pea tips, bao buns, crispy tofu, and wontons were all great. Service was wonderful, food came out quickly. Will return”

“had such an amazing night here! The service was top notch, really friendly, attentive, great conversations, and no interruptions while enjoying the food and conversation. The food was incredible, full stop. The mussels and prawns in the dill with the torn bread and caviar cream cheese was insane. Hands down the best dish I’ve ever had. The flavours were so potent but not overpowering, they were mouthwatering and crisp, and the prawns were cooked so perfect. I will never forget this dish and would come back here just to eat that. My husbands favorite was the oysters, the shaved foie was such a fun treat. My close second was the oyster mushroom in hollandaise - it had all my favorite flavours, I wanted to keep eating it! The desserts were so fun and light, I really enjoyed them, it was such a good way to finish off the meal!We did the premium wine pairing - my favorite was the Silvaner. The two Moët I believe were the differentiators for the premium vs regular pairing. The 2010 was so fantastic, and the 2008 rosé paired with the wagyu was super interesting. Would I do the premium again? Once was probably enough, but it was an experience.10/10 overall hands down.”
“My wife and I went here for our anniversary and we were surprised by a complimentary dessert, (the three layer cake), and it was our favourite dish of the evening. The jasmine rice lager was also a very nice pairing to the other dishes.”

“Great service with the best atmosphere and delicious food. The food was great, you need to sometimes ask them what they are but staff explains everything well. If you go there, make sure you don't miss the desserts they are the best. A unique style restaurant on the high-end side of the city. You will need to make a reservation to avoid the line during peak hours.”

“I had a great experience here! The customer service was very nice, and everyone within the restaurant made us feel welcome.Tasty cocktail with light amount of sweetness which was just perfect.Every dish was fabulous and delicious. My personal favorite among the dishes was the kimchi tomatoes. It was so interesting for us to notice the flow of dishes and how a new one would be ready by the time we finished the first one.I would recommend a reservation in advance to grab a table, but if you are okay with waiting a bit and potentially sitting by the bar, a reservation would not be necessary.Thank you Kingyo for such memorable experience.Arigato gozaimasu!”
“We had an absolutely wonderful time stopping in for small bites and a drink. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and the food was to die for. An absolute must-visit!”
“Undoubtedly the BEST biriyani anywhere in Canada. I love the Vijayawada boneless chicken biriyani so much that I order the family pack all for myself and finish it in a few days. Delicious blend of spices, tender chicken, aromatic rice, the spiciness, a perfect balance! Their various curries are stellar, especially their fish and shrimp dishes as well as their eggplant and other vegetarian dishes. As an Indian classical musician I know my taste and this restaurant has the best food, especially their Vijayawada chicken biriyani! My wife loves their veg biriyani but her favourite is the eggplant dish. Love this restaurant. I will be ordering food from them for our Mushtari Begum Festival dinner from now on too!!!”

“Delicious food and friendly service. Very kind and helpful when we asked about menu items and vegan options. They have a vegan kebab and rice dish that was very tasty.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan kebab and rice dish available with pickled vegetable sides.”

“We had our wedding dinner in the Ocean Room. The staff were PHENOMENAL and so keen. They could tell when we needed something, and we're immediately on top of it. They even helped keep events on track!Nik was such a wonderful lead host of the night. They were ON POINT all night.Dinner service was excellent, food came out quickly and piping hot.Thank you to the whole Team that served the Nowik-Wiseman wedding dinner last night. Everyone is commenting on how great of a dinner it was.”
“First, love the menu! So cosy with only 12 tables or so. Second, food is excellent! Both dishes were delicious, filling yet not heavy. Drinks were great, and service was solid. Not usually a dessert-at-a-restaurant person, but their panacotta was worth it!”
“Great food- delicious drinks! We were greeted, seated and treated with excellent service. From the hostess, bartender to and table, the staff went above and beyond to welcome us to Vancouver.Vegetarian options: We enjoyed the hummus platter, salmon sushi and veggie burgers. Cream Brûlée cheesecake-so good!Parking: Under street parking available.”

“Our hostess, severs and food delivery staff were excellent, albeit that some do need to talk more succinctly when there is a pianist next to us - we couldn't hear the explanations of the food dishes very well when each dish arrived.”
“2024 Winter Tasting Menu. I really liked how the food is served family style.A great dining experience, our waiter explained each dish and answered all our questions. The snacks were all bangers. The flavour in the hot and sour pork soup blended really well. Desserts were all fun to try.Would suggest getting the sablefish curry over the chicken curry, the consistency of the chicken curry was very thin.”

“Absolutely love this place, came here under the recommendation of good people and was not disappointed, dead rabbit was present this evening and knocked it out of the ball park. I love their brand and the servers there are top notch ! I will be back !!”
“Pretty healthy ramen. The noodle is cooked just right and the broth is creamy and not salty. Spicy levels can go up a bit, but they have hot pepper flakes on the side.Kinda wish they had pork broth, but I guess it's their thing.”
“What a memorable, delicious, and exquisite meal. We did the fixed menu with add ons and the pairings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. To enjoy a delicious meal with friends with zero decision making and incredible service is PRICELESS. We were 3 friends reconnecting over food and the experience was perfection. Chris and his team took incredible care of us. We had a few sensitive tummies for beverages so 2/3 of the pairings needed augmentation and they were able to accommodate and exceed expectations. We will 100% be back. What a delightful evening.”

“Not only are the dishes here really delicious (especially the omelette, which is off menu and which is extremely flavorful with the cream sauce and shaved truffle), but the dimly lit jazzy vibe here is conducive to taking a step back, relaxing, and focusing on conversations with fellow diners. This is a great restaurant that is a must-visit for Vancouver lovers of Asian cuisine!”
“The food was exceptional, comforting and tasty. It's a very nice, small restaurant. I loved the vibes. And the servers were absolutely lovely!I had the tasting menu but I would love to go back and try A la carte.Vegetarian options: It's vegetarian”

“Went with my friend the day before Valentine's Day for the tasting menu. Service was average, but kudos to the lovely hostess who acknowledged special request for our reservations, and wondering why the dining room servers not paying attention to details like the hostess. Overall the tasting menu was of average quality, nothing of vow factors comparing to my first dining experience years ago here. In particular, the main course European Sea Bass was quite dry, and not sure why it was complemented with chickpeas and salsa like sauces, not quite the chemistry! We have asked the bus boy for taking our picture, but he said he would ask our server who showed up only when serving us the 3 courses, and at the end, the bus boy took the picture for us. Yes, we completed the 3 courses and the pictures, but we both didn't feel completed with a good dining experience!”

“Burdock has remained my favourite restaurant for coming up on 10 years! It’s everything I want in a dining experience; incredible and creative food, perfect wine pairings, intimate ambiance, and elegant service. I always leave enchanted and satiated. 10/10”
“We had a great brunch at Medina. The food was really good. The only thing I was little disappointed with was that the waitress was taking a "better care" of my man that me. My water never got refilled (his did, 3 times, mine not even once...) he also got to enjoy couple cups of cappuccino, no one asked me if I wanted anything...Yes, sure, I'm an adult and I could have jumped in at any point and asked but I was disappointed that the whole conversation throughout the brunch was always directed to him and nothing towards me ? we are all humans, so maybe it was just a bad day. Other than that it was good food experience, it was also a very busy day during the spring break. We will give it a try again in May, when we are back.”
“The food was outstanding. Service perfect. The building is cool because it is old. Neat decorations but it is really crowded and loud. If you don't like yelling across the table to talk, order delivery.”

“Very good atmosphere and whole experience was like a food show! I hesitated a bit before when I saw the price ($300+ pp) but as it got Michelin certified I still want to give it a try. I love how the girls wearing Japanese clothes and great you with very comforting manner. The decoration was also making feel like entered a Japanese theater. All the chef work fast and they accommodated my allergy. Definitely recommend for your special night, they played piano for a birthday girl, I believe it would be a memorable experience.”
“The Chambar experience was amazing.Beautiful deco, welcoming staff, and great atmosphere. You must try their cocktails! The moules frites were delicious. The place was packed. Make a res.”
“The best option is to go in at least group of 4 and get the “I want it all” - the food portions are generous and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommend trying this place at least once!Went back again for NYE dinner and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. And as always, the food was delicious!”
“During my visit to Le Crocodile, a kind staff member, a gentleman, surprised me with a specially curated vegetarian appetizer. His thoughtful gesture showcased the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional service and made my dining experience truly memorable. The food is delicious, with classic French dishes and modern twists. The staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a special night out or a casual dinner with friends. Le Crocodile is a must-try for anyone who loves French cuisine!”
“The service here is excellent. And less people than the richmond one, compared to the last time I went, so I highly recommend this location. The oat milk base is very good, recommend that one.”
“Really cool atmosphere! Live piano, wonderful food, excellent service! Cocktail for me that I have been searching for for years! The fact that she knew how to make it and made it really well reflected, for me. Anyway, a real sense of expertise. The live piano was the highlight though. We had tons of fun. Guessing the songs that he was playing. Lots of popular music! Definitely returning.”
“TLDR: worth going at least once, nothing too special. I've been to the Beijing location where Obama visited. (Can't really compare. My review is not based on that experience), nothing spectacular, forgettable taste but worthwhile experience with the white glove service.OverviewFirst things first, our waiter for the night, William, was outstanding and did not miss a beat. Refilled our teas at the right time and individually served our plates. The service and the interior decor made it a very enjoyable experience. We sat in the private room. And this room feels like a boardroom. It is huge with a huge table. So when it comes to a Chinese dinner, it is tough cause the table was so big we had to pass along one dish to another person. We don't have individual meals. That kind of took away from the experience of ease of trying to enjoy your food.EnvironmentWhy I gave the atmosphere four stars was because the outside of the private room, the decor and vibe was very classy, and it felt special. What you want to feel going into a Michelin star restaurant. The grand entrance thar showcases "books" and glassware spanning to the ceiling makes you feel like this is not your average Chinese restaurant. They have 2 separate dining areas. The room to the left of the entrance has a bar area and smalling seating tables. To the left is the main dining hall, dimmer lights and accents of red compliment the fixtures and the feature wall. But inside the private room did not reflect such visuals, and there were a lot of extra chairs on the side with stark white walls and just a strip of red lighting at the baseboards, wasn't giving "grand" at all.ServicePlain and simple service was great. Very personable and attentive. Obviously, the show of slicing the duck was nice to observe.FoodIt seems like every Michelin restaurant that I have been to so far leaves me with the same unsatisfactory sense of being underwhelmed. Not to say that it is at all bad, but the food... the thing you spent the time waiting for an opening, reserving a table, and happily expecting to pay a little more $$ for. The food that is the whole reason that makes this worth it, I personally cannot say that it's something that I would leave the restaurant saying "Wow, I get it. I will crave this and can't wait to come again." Service is a great impression. Plating and interior is Instagram worthy, but I'm here for the food. I'm not a food critic by any means! This was just my personal experience. I am just a regular joe who understands what yummy is.If you're going for the experience, consistency, and perfect service. You will enjoy this place and have a great time. If you're coming for that magical moment you think you'll get when eating this Peking duck, you may ever so slightly wonder if it was "worth it"”

Nirvana
“We just had a fantastic dinner at Nirvana’s new location on Victoria at 49 Ave. Very tasty food and super friendly hosts. The food is really Indian not Canadian/Indian. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, everything was delish. Highly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian choices.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to climb, no door sill to get over. Parking on the street or behind the restaurant.”

“Food was as expected but has risen in price over the last few years. Service was prompt and polite from Raymond. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. There was someone smoking out of a glass pipe in the front window for a while though. Although not unexpected for the area, still not the best thing to have right outside a family restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere inside. But neighbourhood factors do leave some work up the parents to help explain what they see outside on the streets surrounding the restaurant.”
“Had a fantastic burger experience at A&W, thanks to Braham, Supreet, and Aman. The burgers were juicy and delicious, and the service from these three was top-notch. Highly recommend for a quick, satisfying meal!”
“Liked the pizza it was very good the pizza guy was very hardworking and doing very good coustemer service his name was saksham liked the place best fresh slice ever ”
“This place is clutch! Open 24 hours, affordable price and tasty to boot??! Take my money! One slice is 3.25, two slices are 6.50 and 2 slices with a drink will only cost you less than 8 bucks. An absolute steal. They heat up the slices for you so it's piping hot. There are no soggy bottoms here and the crust is the perfect middle child of thin and original. Not too thin and not too thick. The marinara sauce is just a bit sweet so it marries well with all your toppings and cheese. I got pepperoni both times and the edges of the pepperoni were delightfully crisp. We were really impressed and thankful for this place during our stay. The cheapest eat during our entire visit, but just as satisfying as our other pricy restaurants. My toxic trait is thinking I should get pizza at 4 in the morn before real breakfast at 6am. And with this place, I can!!”
“The masala dosa, Manchurian, and chili idli were amazing! Very flavorful and great spice level. Service was great thanks to Angelo!Vegetarian options: There a great vegan and vegetarian options!”
“We ordered a bunch of different things on the menu. The aloo patty was decent, it was a little dry and could use some more flavour. The chai was good and quite flavourful. Bread pakora was quite delicious but the outer coating could’ve been thinner to add to the crispiness. Noodles were good but could use some more flavour.Overall the food had good taste but could’ve been perfect with a tad bit of changes. Also, they do not have dine in available.”
“Absolutely delicious earl gray cream puff and the matcha latte was a nice pairing with it! They have a huge assortment of other baked goods I can't wait to try”
“I’ve been here a few times, and my favourite item is the grilled cheese + hidden pickle. Tried a matcha cream puff and it was the size of an enlarged peach. I recommend visiting with friends. Nice social hub.”
“This is a nice 24 hour bakery. I love the convenience of being able to come here when other places are closed. They have tasty food and decent beverages. They have a large selection ranging from sandwiches to sweets, even loaves of bread. There’s always patrons seated and it seems to be a popular place - I stop by whenever I am in town and have yet to regret it.”
“Someone we know got a gift card for Breka, which is not near where she lives. We had no idea what the card was worth but we were in the vicinity today at lunch time. 1 Roasted Veggie Quinoa Salad $9 1 Apricot Chicken Salad Sandwich $9.25 1 small Dark Hot Chocolate $4.25 - very good value and only half of what was on the card! Very busy at noon, of course, but we found a table easily. The noise levels were very high. It was all very tasty - with the hot chocolate getting top marks. Very nice bathroom too. We looked longingly at all the cakes - and noted that their European Cheesecake cost about half what we paid for elsewhere. Good Value all round.”
“Ordered online and had a good experience. It was easy to order from the app, the sandwich was made quickly and accurately and they left a free cookie in the bag. Thanks for the nice touch! Will come back again.”
“Gurinder He works in morning, He's caring and makes nice sandwiches.Gurinder keep up the great work and He's amazing asset for this location, Management Should be proud ??!”
“We went there for Sehri and were treated with amazing tasty Dosa. Dharamraj was excellent chef and host. Till now the best Dosa in GVA. And yeah the meat was halal ??”
“Amazing donuts and pastries in unique flavors that will have you craving them again. Open 24 hours, and almost always has a line... you'll be back for more! I wish there was a Breka in Seattle, but in the meantime it will just have to remain there first stop (and many more) each time I visit Vancouver! Pistachio custard donut is my favorite!”

Takeout Restaurants
“Perhaps the most cost-effective place I have eaten in Canada. Most items cost around 10$, and still soo good with large amount. They are also very friendly, helped me with a free bag after payment, since i didn’t know bags are paid here. Also the service has always been very efficient, i have eaten several times in a week. Downside would be, they have no dine-in option, but you can sit in the park right there.”

“I’ve been coming here for years and now I try to come here every time I’m in town. The beef on rice and chicken wings are absolutely a must!! We tried the low mein this time and it was ok. Good quality Asian comfort food. No reservations here so make sure you come early there’s always a line.”
“Started with some excellent oysters then had a Raviolo ( not a spelling mistake) which was very good a then the ling Cod. All very good. The dessert was ok but not as good as we expected”
“very nice seating and location. staff very nice, great food.Vegetarian options: many options for vegetariansKid-friendliness: very good for kids, good food and drink options”
“Best baklavas and middle eastern pastries I've ever had. I bought all these treats and i finished them in two sittings - there was no way I could stop. They are so tasty and addictive, but they're not oily nor are they overly sweet like traditional baklava.Part of me is glad that they are not close to me because otherwise I would go every day. They're THAT good. And the customer service is amazing, that's something that can't be ignored. I don't think I'll ever go to a better middle eastern bakery here in Vancouver.”
“Newly arrived to Canada with my partner and after adventures all day needed a quick bite. We were met Pallwinda - what a wonderful smiling face to have to welcome you to Freshslice! 1st time trying this pizza restaurant and glad we did. Short walk from the beach and open late. 12 dollar create your own is the way to go. 10/10Vegetarian options: Create your own with many veggie toppings available.”
“I really liked the Spicy Pork Garlic ramen! If you like spicy and want ramen, I recommend it! Pork is tender as well. The vibe is really nice with the music too.”
“It was my first experience with Nepalese food, and ngl it was love at first sight. It is a really pretty restaurant with a really pleasant patio. We had the vegetarian zhol Momo, and they were so so good. Will definitely come back again! Service was great and warm.”
“Delicious dishes. Exquisite flavor and aroma. Oscar was so nice and help us selecting How did we want the bistek? Medium rare. Clean and stylish place. Highly recommend.”
“Very good Tonkotsu Ramen. They give you a menu to fully customize your ramen, from the thickness of the noodle and broth to noodle firmness and richness. The ramen broths are all amazing, noodles can be to your liking, but the pork in the non-vegan ones was a bit mediocre and less tasty. I recommend Shio ramen with a rich, strong broth. It is very tasty and flavorful. The classic ramen was a bit bland. Overall, criendly staff and a good experience. Highly recommended.”
“Brilliant. Went here with my son to have a chilled afternokn snack and a cocktail. Staff are fantantic, very attentative, and really helpful. It was a lovely time. I would certainly go back for sure.”
“The restaurant atmosphere is inviting, beautifully decorated, and clean. We had lunch on a weekday afternoon and it was fairly crowded, but that added positively to the atmosphere. Food was overall fine, with my thoughts on the individual dishes in the captions under the photos. Service was also fine.”
“"From the moment I stepped into Tayla Thai, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity. The restaurant's elegant decor and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasted a delightful array of Thai dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, flavorful ingredients that transported my taste buds to Thailand. I savored every bite of their Pad Thai, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tanginess and spice. The friendly and attentive staff made me feel like a valued guest, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was impeccable. Tayla Thai is a true gem, offering exceptional cuisine and hospitality that keeps me coming back for more. I can't recommend it highly enough!"”
“Vegetarian options: The fried cauliflower and vege stew were my favourite, even more than the lamb and fish dishes. The veg appetizer sampler platter was also really nice to share.Parking: free 2 hr parking lot 2 min walk away (NW of the restaurant)”

“I went here for my birthday and the food was amazing. We had calamari to start, o had the rack of lamb and my partner had the duck. For dessert we couldn’t decide so we got the salted caramel crème brûlée and the chocolate soufflé. The server was so attentive in filling my wine, brought out a complimentary dessert and were visited by the chef to check in. Would definitely go back!”
“Beef soup was so delicious!!! It also comes with noodles which is a bonus!!!! We already tried most of the spicy flavours so we decided to get the bbq (갈비) flavour, sweet, smoky & crispy!! it is definitely an A+! Never had a bad experience with them! Yujin was very friendly & welcoming, she made sure we are attended, amazing! They also do delivery!”
“The staff at this location are amazing! They really take the time to get to know all of the regulars names and are always so pleasant to deal with. They make the start of my work day amazing!”
“You have to fire the girl working there on the weekends. The guy working there on the weekdays is excellent. Couple weeks back I ordered nuttin better and she messed up the ingredients, I think she put too less milk and too less wow butter; it tasted like water. I told her about it and she made me another one with an attitude. She purposely messed up this one by putting too much wow butter. Strongest peanut butter tasting nuttin better I've had in my life. Again I ordered nuttin better today (saturday) and I can tell she didn't follow the recipe, but not as bad the first experience I had with her. I don't know what's so hard about following a recipe; every other booster juice employee can do it. And her attitude is intolerable. Please fire her; otherwise you will lose my business on the weekends. My name on the app: Kundran. The guy who works there on the weekdays flawlessly follows the recipe. Now probably won't buy there on the weekends.”
“Above average for fast food.Grass fed, drug free.Servicr is usually good.Oak and 49 and E Hastings above average all round.Parking: E Hastings and 49 and Oak have lots of free street parking very close by.Broadway same.”
“Great food and wonderful atmosphere ? ? ? ? ? ❤️They also have a wonderful drink ? menu ? ? ? ? ❤️ ?Kid-friendliness: You can dine with your family here at White spot ? ? ? ? ? ?”
“Good drinks. Good food. Location is awesome, there is parking depending on the time of day that you want to come in.There is lots of odds and ends, and cute stuff for sale here.Their set up and displays are very nice.Overall everything is good, just wished that they don't increase prices for everything in such a short time frame.”
“This Starbucks is my happy place! I am always greeted by name and the staff are cheerful and friendly no matter the day, the weather, whatever is going on in the world. I can't comment on the food but I do love the dark coffee! Thanks everyone for being a nice start to my day (and mid day haha)”
“White Spot Kitsilano offers a delightful dining experience in the heart of the neighborhood. The charming ambiance, combined with a diverse and flavorful menu, makes it a perfect spot for casual dining or gathering with friends. The restaurant's attentive service and inviting atmosphere create a welcoming setting to savor delicious meals. Whether you're dropping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, White Spot Kitsilano provides a pleasant and satisfying dining experience.”
“I love booster juice. So many amazing delicious and healthy options that you can pick from and everytime I'm confused, I go for the green smoothie bowl.. You can never go wrong with that.Vegetarian options: It's a paradise for vegetarians.”
“My daughter and I popped into Bar One after a day filled with errands as she was craving Denny's shredded hash browns. We ended up having the Bar One side all to ourselves and had the dedicated attention of Claudia who went above and beyond with menu recommendations. She took the time to get to know us and share a bit of her Canadian travel stories.Claudia was delightful. We'll be back just to see her and find out how her trip to the island was!”
“Nothing different about Starbucks. Usually very kind baristas. I don't do food for lack of vegan options. There's no more excuse to not offer something useful. That's a huge fail for Starbucks.Vegetarian options: Need to offer vegan options other than apples. It's appalling how there are no vegan baked goods.”
“(2022)try the cold brew malt (not in the app) had to repeat myself a few times so communication could be better and lines were long at 12PMcame back for pickup and baristas did not try to help locate my drink (minus 1 star)(november 2023)came this morning at 7:45am to order a holiday drink, but waited until 7:55am for it to be done and missed my bus it seems like mobile orders are priority(march 2024)ordered a tall dragonfruit refresher w/o ice and was only filled to the midline ?”
“as usual there is easy access and great customer service…I really like the dark roast…and the free wi-fi provides extra enjoyment…Wheelchair accessibility: sidewalk meets the entrance to Starbucks…easy to enter….”
“I go to this Starbucks location almost daily on my way to work. I don’t pre order because I like the personal touch and they give it. Every time I go in they acknowledge me by name and treat me with respect like I’m special and important. It doesn’t matter who is behind the counter. They know my drink (it doesn’t change) and usually start it when they see me come in unless they are busy of course. When I leave with drink in hand it is always with a smile on my face.”
“I really liked the Spicy Pork Garlic ramen! If you like spicy and want ramen, I recommend it! Pork is tender as well. The vibe is really nice with the music too.”
“The food was exceptional, comforting and tasty. It's a very nice, small restaurant. I loved the vibes. And the servers were absolutely lovely!I had the tasting menu but I would love to go back and try A la carte.Vegetarian options: It's vegetarian”
“It was my first experience with Nepalese food, and ngl it was love at first sight. It is a really pretty restaurant with a really pleasant patio. We had the vegetarian zhol Momo, and they were so so good. Will definitely come back again! Service was great and warm.”
Fine Dining
“Should be a 5 here but wow as for 50 bucks and a reg 6 ounce steak not even including a potato! That was an extra 8 something! New record anywhere on no side with a grand extra cost added.Service top end though.”
“Amazing night out. Their beef wellington is a must try. The overall dining experience was elevated by the great recommendations and friendly interactions with our outstanding server Eduardo.”
“We ate here and the food was amazing. Some really unique flavors and ingredients in dishes that gives it that extra touch to make it a fine dining experience.View was fabulous and the service was great too. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in VancouverThank you!”
“We had the Friday burger & beer special. It is really great that the restaurant offers a choice of lager or amber ale with your burger. It was THE best burger I have had in a really long time. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!”
“Took my wife here for our anniversary. It was such a wonderful evening. Chef masayoshi and team elegantly created a eventful date night for us. Service was attentive and the staff ensured our glasses and tea cups were always full. It was a quiet ambience and i really enjoyed watching chef create each dish one by one. Truly enjoyed the sake pairing and I recommend it to all. Cant wait to come back again. Please do try to get a seat at the sushi bar, its quite worth the full experience.”
“We made a reservation here to stop by before a Wanda Sykes show at the QE. My wife had eaten here before but it was my first time here. When you enter it seems like a small, intimate bistro. Once you look around and see the stairs on either side going up to the 2nd floor you realize it is actually much larger. The vast vaulted ceiling in the middle adds to the grandeur. So the atmosphere is great before you even try the food. The service provided by Michael and others was amazing! From bringing around menus to refilling water everyone was very attentive. They were out of the Baked Brie so we ordered Duck Poutine, Shrimps Provençal and Moules et Frites (Mussels & Fries) to share. The poutine was rich, creamy and the fries crispy and nicely seasoned. The lemon, butter & garlic sauce with the shrimp was amazing and I soaked up much as I could with the bread. The mussels tasted wonderful in their sauce as did the crispy fries. All the food was delicious! My wife had the house rose to drink while I had their cocktail special. It was similar to a French 75 but perhaps with grapefruit instead of lemon juice. It was very refreshing. For dessert we had a Decadent Hot Chocolate. It had wonderful whipped cream, chocolate flakes on top of the melted dark chocolate which was very creamy. There was a raspberry & chocolate macaron and biscotti to dip in the hot chocolate. It was incredible and a perfect way to finish off the meal! We’ll be back!Parking: There is paid street parking and paid garage parking options nearby. We’re a 15 minute bus ride from downtown so we took that option instead.”
“The sushi nigiris were just excellent. They also have high quality tuna, the chu-toro and o-toro just melt in your mouth. Chef was quiet but highly skilled, definitely worth a try.”
“We thought the food here was fantastic. Best food we’ve had in years, honestly. Crab tacos, beef stir fry, sushi and lobster rolls … it was all very flavorful. And the crème brûlée was brilliant.”
“Absolutely excellent service. Our server Michelle was very warm, friendly, and attentive. However, for the price, I wasn't amazed with the food. It was good; don't get me wrong. But I was expecting an elevated food experience for the price. Perhaps I would have gotten that if we pre-ordered the duck, but we decided to go the same day on a whim.”
“An unreal experience. The owner/head chef is so knowledgeable about each dish and carefully explains everything before handing it to you. Absolutely incredible experience!!!”
“This is one of my favourite restaurants and I frequently go here with friends and dates. The food s always 10/10. I like how the decor changes with the season and always looks great. You can sit back in the lounge in comfortable chairs or sit in the elegance of the dining area. I’m looking forward to the patio opening up with the nicer weather, as it is also very nice. The service is very good and exactly what you’d expect from a Five Star restaurant. The owners can frequently be seen on the floor, making sure everything is running smoothly and conversing with the regular guests that they know.”
“Blair our waiter was a real pro and had the fine art of serving down to a science. The art of being a professional server was evident from the moment we sat down.My wife and I occasionally treat ourselves to a fine dining experience and Blair and Hy’s did not disappoint!Thank you for a great experience.”
“Tojo’s didn’t disappoint!! I had never been before and now as a vegan they had some delicious options. Not many, but enough that I enjoyed a good meal. The lighting is bright, so it’s more of a lively environment than a “date spot” but I would definitely return.Service was outstanding!Vegetarian options: Their gomaae was delicious, as was the rainbow roll.”
“Our family has been ordering from the Ridge Garden for over two decades and can say that the food and service is fantastic! Always consistent and flavourful! Definitely recommend!”
“Overall the experience was 5 stars. Very friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. Sirloin steak and chicken teriyaki was delicious, and the chef put on a wonderful cooking show.Highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Delicious dishes. Exquisite flavor and aroma. Oscar was so nice and help us selecting How did we want the bistek? Medium rare. Clean and stylish place. Highly recommend.”
If you're coming for that magical moment you think you'll get when eating this Peking duck, you may ever so slightly wonder if it was "worth it"”
“We love this place! The food is incredible, great options for vegetarians and non-vege too! We've come for brunch and dinner and loved it both times. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, Sanmit and Winnie really made both visits super special.”
Cheap Eats
“Always my go-to for a quick lunch/dinner. The staff (MKK) are amazing and always friendly, with big smiles on their faces! Over the years, I’ve tried everything in their menu and their food is amazing! Especially the chicken saj. Would highly recommend!”
“Delicious pastries and coffee! They are very friendly and kind. The cardamom in the qotab was devine! Barbari bread was also fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!”
“After a walk around Stanley Park we went here for a bite. It's nice that they had a vegan option which is the vegetable medley as long as you have it without the gravy but you can top it off with peas. They also have a berry pie if opting for dessert or a vegan sweet pie.”
“Hey there , I went to fresh slice pizza today, I met with a guy name Jatin who is working there , I appreciate this guy because the way he works too good and he respect us , he gives us good deals and we ate pizza from there it’s too good and so tasty . I recommend to everyone please visit here because of food , ( specially Jatin is too good ) atmosphere, food .”
“A very nice place far from the hustle and bustle of the city and at the same time right next to it. Very pleasant place to rest and drink a coffee. I highly recommend.”
“As per usual, I had such a great time, I’ve been more than blessed and welcomed to Melo Patisserie. The whole team is nice, smiling and really helpful. It was a sunny day and I decided to go out to get some great treats. I got myself CIABATTA BREAD sandwich with salami and Dijon. It was simply delightfully delicious, the combination of the ciabatta and the melted Swiss cheese is always a win to me but I think this is the best one I ever had. Crunchy and full of flavours. And of course my favourite the London Fog. To indulge myself I finished with a Melo passion fruit ganache gluten-free easter cake, and my heart melted. I looked at their viennoiseries as well but decided to be reasonable and to keep the crave for my next visit. They look so tasty and the layers of the croissants are so beautiful so appetizing. Despite that I enjoyed the location, the pâtisserie is beautiful, it reminds me of me Paris with the decoration and the details from the nice looking plates to even the canvas exposition, everywhere you look it’s a pleasure for the eyes. I highly and strongly recommend Melo patisserie and I’ll come back again. Thank you for the great time ?? before I forget their patio is also so cute next time I’ll bring some friends.”
“I recently found myself in a situation in which I was coerced to eat some sub par chicken tenders and fries from an “establishment” I will not name. It was such a horrible experience that the very next opportunity I had, I found myself driving straight to DL to get some redemption fried chicken and fries. I will never question the price for the quality and quantity of food you get. Does not disappoint!!”
“Earnest is great, love the Fraser location for how lively it gets at night. It’s always friendly service with a neighborhood essences to it that makes this location feel more inviting and comfortable compared to its other locations.Dietary restrictions: Have vegan flavours available”
“Best Lahmajun and Pide!!! Free coffee with foodWe heard about this place from a friend at our break time, we decided to go and try their Lahmajun. Wow, we were amazed with the taste and prices! The Lahmajun I should say is the best in Vancouver based on the quality, taste, and the amount of beef used on the bread. Also, it is only 5.99. I also ordered Pite for to go, but I just couldn't resist and wait, and I ate the whole dish there. It tasted so delicious, and the crust was amazing, it reminded me of the Piroshki dough. We also got Ayran for only $2 which was very tasty. The prices are very affordable for the quality and taste.2 Baklava for 3.25 is the best deal! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were so welcoming and nice.We were actually offered free coffee with our food!”
“This was the best ayran and lentil soup of my life. The portions were so large that they couldn’t fit at one table. very small cafe, but in summer you can sit next to the open window. The food is very tasty.Conveys the atmosphere of history and culture of this cafe. Convenient location in the city center, with parking nearby.”
“Cats that's it. Just cats. Why would you not go? There's cats. There's drinks. The best way to spend an afternoon. I love this place! I'm so happy that it was saved cuz I would have dearly missed it. Every time I go I drop so much money but I never feel guilty about it cuz I know that it's helping the kitties. I recommend this to everyone. You can tell about the cats are well taken care of and the well loved and the service is top notch. You can order ahead of time and they'll bring it to you while you play and spend time with the cats.Parking: Not really any place to park but their street parkingKid-friendliness: Great place to bring your kids but please be vigilant”
“Very good caramel lattes. Every vegan milk drink is perfectly foamy!Their gluten free banana loaf is also super satisfying. The sugar and cream/ garbage station is a bit cumbersome. But, the overall cafe interior is inspiring and calming.”
“SO much love for this place and the staff! everyone is so kind and customer service is top notch!my partner and i just started coming here about a month ago and already the staff call us by our names and always get our drink orders right!they are so sweet here and i feel happy to give them my money every time we visit ??Thank u specifically to Amy and Josh for being so being so welcoming ❤️”
“Took my kids to come eat there for dinner .. As always the food are always hot and the service is always great. Gurleen I think maybe she’s the manager would come up and ask if everything’s alright. Overall this is our favourite A&W!”
“The Deep Fried Chicken Sub at Vientamins is a delightful paradox - indulgently crispy yet surprisingly light. The golden, crunchy chicken pairs perfectly with fresh veggies and a well-chosen bread, creating a satisfying yet guilt-free meal. A must-try for those who love flavorful, healthier options.”
“Serving per dish was definitely good for 1-2 people! Service was great — very hospitable servers. It’s a quaint restaurant but comfortable and clean. If you’re looking for Thai food in downtown and on a budget, this is a good place to go!”

Le Crocodile
“During my visit to Le Crocodile, a kind staff member, a gentleman, surprised me with a specially curated vegetarian appetizer. His thoughtful gesture showcased the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional service and made my dining experience truly memorable. The food is delicious, with classic French dishes and modern twists. The staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a special night out or a casual dinner with friends. Le Crocodile is a must-try for anyone who loves French cuisine!”
“Pepper pork and chicken soup is rich and delicious, with a lot of chicken and pork belly. There are many styles of cattle and sheep. All kinds of beef have their own characteristics. There are many desserts, including coffee jelly, ice cream, and ice powder. Fried steamed buns, chicken wings and crispy meat are all delicious. Highly recommend eating here. The service is very good (highly praised) and the food is delicious. Membership - $2 per person is a great discount.”
“The place is cozy with great music! Eating the food here feels like you’re in Thailand. The food is delicious and tasty. The staff are friendly, polite and welcoming! Will surely go back here. Thank you for making our stay great!”
“I booked a table for 5 people on Sunday evening and the earliest time slot at the time was 8:15pm. The host called to confirm my reservation and offered an earlier time slot, which was appreciated. The service was great; everyone who came by were patient and explained to us how the menu worked. We ordered the combo for 4 and it was kore than enough. The food was amazing. The place was dark and a bit loud for my mom, but I enjoyed it. The one thing that stood out to me the most was that for a kbbq establishment, it wasn't at all smoky inside, and we all walked out not smelling like our meal.”
“Love this place! Absolutely I'm going to visit this restaurant again!! Everyone so kind and they showed a high level of understanding about the food, and their descriptions were clear.”

Kissa Tanto
“Not only are the dishes here really delicious (especially the omelette, which is off menu and which is extremely flavorful with the cream sauce and shaved truffle), but the dimly lit jazzy vibe here is conducive to taking a step back, relaxing, and focusing on conversations with fellow diners. This is a great restaurant that is a must-visit for Vancouver lovers of Asian cuisine!”
“Came here March 2nd after a Whitecaps game. Had the burger of the month (with bacon/BBQ sauce) which was pretty good. Loud ambience, as expected of a sports bar.Shoutout to the staff and manager that night for going the extra mile. I had a corporate discount, and while the staff didn't recognize the specific discount immediately, they went out of their way to accommodate. Much appreciated!”
“Love Mazahr! This sweet spot in the heart of Vancouver has many delicious vegan dishes and that's what I look for when I'm out and about :) Staff are super friendly, the place is clean and has a great energy. I highly recommend it ?”

“The service and cocktails provided were one of the best that I encountered in Vancouver. That food especially catered to my needs. Would visit and recommend.Parking: Frontal free parking”

Anh And Chi
“Consistently amazing food, great service and a fairly good price for how large the portions are - highly recommended! I usually order the ‘Number 37’ chicken and rice dish but you can’t go wrong with any option here. The pho/soups are tasty and the cocktail list has a bunch unique drinks (albeit pricey). We eat here often and keep coming back! Only minor complaint is that they started charging for chili oil now.”
“Favourite Vietnamese spot in Van! Super friendly staff, very chill atmosphere - and the FOOD!? Pffft… game over. So good.Vegetarian options: Vegan pho slaps so hard. Clean, wholesome goodness.”
“Had japchae, and sooda half classic, and all in all food was delish, so was ambiance and service. However they do not give you a refill on the kimchi which is the not so cool part of a Korean Restaurant. They charge 2.99 for extra side plate of kimchi. All in all good experience, will come back if I can't find another Korean Restaurant open in Gas Town.”
“The food was really clean and delicious! I recommend the cockle bibimbap and raw meat haha. I didn't know you could eat such delicious cockles and raw meat in Vancouver. The servers are all so friendly! I need to come ”
“Brilliant. Went here with my son to have a chilled afternokn snack and a cocktail. Staff are fantantic, very attentative, and really helpful. It was a lovely time. I would certainly go back for sure.”
“I just want to give a huge shoutout to Avi - he was one of the staff members working a private event that I attended at Gastronomy tonight. I left the restaurant at 1:30am only to find myself locked out of the parking garage my car was in. I immediately went back to the restaurant which was closed and locked but he let me in while on the phone with the parking garage company. Once I was given a solution, Avi then escorted me to the parking garage and waited for me to be safe in my vehicle before walking back to the restaurant. He went above and beyond and I am super appreciative of him for that.Despite the restaurant’s location being a block away from East Hastings, it is definitely worth a visit. The service was the absolute best, the food was delicious and the atmosphere the private room provides is perfect for any party! I will definitely be back.”
“I go to Ofra's kitchen quite often, and I have never had a bad experience. What is really sad is that most of the recent bad reviews are not directed at the quality of food or dining experience, but are directly related to what is going on in the Middle East. The restaurant is being attacked simply because the owner is Israeli and Jewish. I will continue to go to Ofra's kitchen in support of her restaurant, and leave politics behind.”
“Should be a 5 here but wow as for 50 bucks and a reg 6 ounce steak not even including a potato! That was an extra 8 something! New record anywhere on no side with a grand extra cost added.Service top end though.”
“I've been meaning to try this place for years but never got around to it till recently and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is! It's definitely got that hole in the wall type of vibe but everything we ordered tasted delicious. The menu items aren't anything special but everything tasted good. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the French toast, it was quite dry in the middle. My favorite was the triple decker club sandwich! If youre looking for a spot that gives you that nostalgic 80's diner vibes, this is it!”
“I was looking forward to visiting this place for a few months. Peruvian cuisine seemed intriguing, interesting and unique. I have to say this place exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s worth going there just for cocktails. They are amazing, each comes with the story, with intention and so much thoughtfulness. It’s an experience on its own. Then there’s food - the next best thing to going to Peru. I need to go back and try everything else on the menu. We’ve had the salmon, beef tartar, duck main and Lomo Saltado. I’ll be dreaming about those dishes for months to come. And then there’s service, and stories and incredible atmosphere. Max at the bar took an incredible restaurant experience to a completely different level by sharing recommendations for travelling worldwide and his incredible BC hiking stories. We’re lucky to have this place in Vancouver, and I can’t wait to go back.”
“Food is wonderful. Lots of home recipes with a lovely atmosphere and decent wine selection.Dietary restrictions: Example: Mushroom cabbage rolls instead of meat onesWheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is level with the street so wheelchairs can get in fine.”
“Delicious Indian/Nepali food with great flavours. Staff followed instructions precisely and was very easy to communicate with. We tried veg deep-fried momos, vegetable chow mein and mango shakes. On top of that, we were complemented with carrot soup on arrival. Loved the food and well behaved staff. Will be my go to place for Indian food = )”
“Amazing place! The food was incredible, especially the desserts (the wafer tort was so good!)Staff were super friendly and gave great service and recommendations. Also they have beautiful paintings done directly on the walls (as in not on canvas).Definitely recommend!! Stoked to go againVegetarian options: Delicious veggie options. Pierogies, borscht, latkes, among other things :). Vegan options available!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, no stairs, space between tables to get a wheelchair through. We had a wheelchair in our group and it was able to maneuver easily and staff were accomodating.”

“I can confidently say everything was wonderful. Fresh ingredients made the food tasty. One of the staff members, Shedy, was exceptionally helpful and kind. We ordered popular mains, appetizers, desserts, and daily specials, and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be returning with friends soon. Keep up the great work!”

Noah's Cafe
“Every dish is amazing and delicious! The wine is also delicious~the service attitude is also super good! The store clerk is very attentive and helpful. I will eat there again if I have the chance.”
“One of the best Indian restaurants in Vancouver!! Its so good that we forgot to take picture of the food!! Quality of the food is insane. Soup is comforting, Chicken Malai and Butter chicken is perfectly done! Ambaince is perfect!! Staff are all accomodating and friendly! Worth visiting and will definetly comeback!”
“My friends and i went to JOEY Bentall and had the most amazing server Nour. We were there celebrating a birthday and she made us all feel so special. Incredibly attentive and so funny. Food was great and we all left so so ”
“Hands down the best curry we've had in Vancouver so far. We had butter lamb and prawn makhani and both of them were very creamy and rich in flavour. The owner, Rick, was very welcoming and his service and attitude elevated the dining experience. We will definitely visit this place again.”

Whether you're a local or just passing through, Nemesis Coffee Gastown is a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-notch breakfast experience in a vibrant setting. ?”
“We came in to celebrate my cousins birthday and it was one of the best dining experience that we had! From the warm greeting right when you arrive to the restaurant to the full service experience the entire time! Our servers are amazing and made sure our needs are met.We all ordered Fai Tu! I highly recommend it as you get to taste different dishes instead of ordering one big portion”
“Just enjoyed a really good lamb curry at Modern Handi and my husband loved his lamb korma! Garlic naan was a hit too! Service was quick, efficient and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend this restaurant!”
“We ate here and the food was amazing. Some really unique flavors and ingredients in dishes that gives it that extra touch to make it a fine dining experience.View was fabulous and the service was great too. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in VancouverThank you!”
“AMAZING. I have been thinking about this pasta for 2 weeks since I went. Highly recommend the tasting menu as the appetizers, pastas, and desserts all surpassed expectations. We arrived at about 4:30 on a Saturday and were fourth in line for the second seating at 7pm, which was what we were expecting. Smooth process if you don't mind waiting a bit, and the wait is definitely worth it.”

“It was my first time at this place, and of course I was very curious and with great expectations, as it is Michelin-starred restaurant. The food is definitely worth the rating: each course has a surprising taste, recipes are inventive and I can tell there is research on how to pair the ingredients, in order to create unexpected flavours. I was a bit disappointed by the ambience; it is really tiny, only high chairs are available, and you basically dine elbow-to-elbow with stranger: there would be nothing bad with that, if the price rate was not the same, if not higher, than other similarly rated and much more comfortable restaurants. Watching the cooks preparing the meal was fun, but, once at home, all my clothes smelled of deep fried oil (to be 100% honest, smell was absolutely not an issue during the meal, I only noticed it when going home). For these reasons, I cannot give 5 starts: I am very happy I tried it, but I am not sure I would go again for these prices, given the large choice of high level restaurants in Vancouver.”
“I just ordered take out, first time ordering from this place. The meal I ordered was spicy, well cooked, the meat was tender. Wish I lived in the city, I'd be a regular. It's really hard to find a spicy slow cooked meal that is full of ”
“Super cute place. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was our first time here and the owner took the time to walk my friend through the menu to help her decide. And then told us that we had to order at the till, pay right away and then they bring the food to the table. The food is amazing! I def need to come back to try the other dishes and their gelato that looked so good but I chose to get the tiramisu which was sooooo good!! We got here 30mins prior to last call and they did not push us to leave when they were at closing hours. The staff are all very friendly. The space is a little cramped because of its small place but the vibe here felt like family coming together to eat. Loved my experience here!”
“We wanted to have a memorable dinner with a dear old friend from Montreal whom we see but once a year. The dinner was ruined by the fact that we could not her each other ”

“I have been many Vietnamese restaurants in my life. some are in Toronto, some in Ottawa, some in Sudbury, some in Chengdu, some in Vancouver. most of the place were good in terms of the flavour. but one thing I have been craving for is the dinning experience. good chef is not rare in the world, but a qualified manager is really rare, it is like the intangible human resources in a company. I really enjoyed my short stay at Tre Viet. it was très bien. and I even liked the way the owner deliver its foreign culture to the locals, we are all immigrants, and that's the most beautiful part of this land, we might be different, but one thing is the same, that is the good food and good manners.”
“This was the first time we have tried a pakistani restaurant and it was beyond our expectations. Food was very very very delicious and loved the ambience. Special thanks to Arsalaan and the whole karakoram team for their superb hospitality. This restaurant is now added to our favourites.”
“An amazing tiki bar awaits you in Vancouver, Canada. You enter the bar, and you're immediately lost on some tropical location, as escapism is done well. The bartenders are way above that of an average bartender. Fresh ingredients are used, and cocktails are measured properly. The presentation of your cocktail is quite impressive. The drinks are well balanced and delicious! Food is served on the premises, and the servings are large enough to serve as dinner. The staff is amazing, thus the service is incredible! This was my second visit, and this place keeps getting better. Tiki bar wise, this spot is on my top ten list. Tiki enthusiasts, you will want to pay this spot a visit, but all who visit will enjoy! Make reservations to ensure seating, but they do accommodate smaller party walk-ins. If you like good people, drink and food, definitely check this spot out!!!”
“The food at this restaurant was exceptional, making it a must-visit destination. The Fesenjoon stood out as particularly outstanding. While the roasted chicken and Lamb Sandwich may not reach the pinnacle of Michelin-starred fare, the Fesenjoon was undeniably top-notch.Our server was incredibly friendly and polite, always wearing a smile. However, the overall service pace for drinks, food, and the check was notably slow, and our water glasses remained unfilled.Additionally, it was unexpected to be charged for a birthday dessert, a rarity in establishments of this caliber.Despite these hiccups, the food’s thrilling and exotic flavors were so memorable that they overshadow the less favorable aspects. Nonetheless, these points of feedback are worth the restaurant’s attention for future improvement.”
“Best lamb in the city. The food is delicious and authentic (as my Greek husband tells me everything we go). This is a jewel of a restaurant run by a lovely family. Yesterday we celebrated 3 birthdays and a graduation and I picked this restaurant as it always delivers with wonderful food, service and atmosphere!!!”
“Thank God for this place! Very savory food! Amazing. I am a chicken lover and the sizzling sweet and spicy chicken fit it perfectly. The name describe it excellently, flavor in every bite. Sizzling bistek so soft, savory and fantastic! And the sizzling tofu... no words for it, just try it!”
“Moxie's Grill & Bar on West Georgia offers a variety of popular dishes such as Tuna Poke Bowl, Bacon and Cheese Burger, and White Chocolate Brownie. The restaurant provides a lively and elegant dining experience, with options for both quick bites and leisurely meals. Customer feedback suggests the menu has something for everyone, with fast service even during peak times. However, some reviews note that while the steaks and burgers are recommended, the pasta dishes might be less impressive.”
“Best fish and chips I've had in over a decade (also the cheapest). Huge portions, delicious fries and generous amounts of tartar sauce. The tacos are amazing too.”
“We came for a friend's birthday, I got fried chicken and I didn't enjoy it, I needed to ask for some sauce, cause it didn't come with anything but It was really oil. The rest of the good everyone said that the food was amazing. The drinks were strong, the sangria had a bad taste like a super sour. Probably I'll be back but definitely I will try other dishes, the service, and the atmosphere were amazing, if you want to celebrate your birthday this is the place.”
“They are really nice and the pizza is great but I'd suggest going for simple options. My pizza had too many ingredients but that's my bad for choosing poorly.”

“Gregor was an amazing person who gave us awesome recommendations! All the food was very good and what I actually liked was that, even if the night was busy, we were given dishes separately instead of being bombarded with a bunch of flavors all at once. Each dish was amazing and will be coming back soon! Not to mention, the drinks were very flavorful and fun! Expect to spend roughly 100-150 for the night, but it's well worth it! Thank you!”

“Delicious comfort soup and sandwich shop with everything made in house! The bread is so fresh and delectable and the staff are super nice. I highly recommend stopping in to grab a toasty sandwich and some hearty soup!”
“It was our 2nd time dining here, and all we can say it's persistent high quality of culinary art. Every dish was carefully and artistically plated, complemented with the fresh and skillful cooking. Highly recommend to order Polpo (Octopus) and Ribs (Rosticciana) which were braised to perfection with the meaty texture yet crushing to the bones! We finished with Budino and Torta all'Oilo (Olive Cake), love both desserts with completely different styles of preparation. A total of 7 dishes with drinks cost $200, which is a steal these days! Will definitely be back soon :)”
“Love this restaurant, awesome service, they recommend really well, food is another level, all made at the moment and really good taste, atmosphere is exactly what it needed, classic music, in the cousin everyone is laughing and joking. The best opción for a Italian ”
“Its 5 stars all the way from me. We went during HH and everything from the setting, good and service was exemplary. Special mention of our server Anna.. She put action in the word" Hospitality ". She was absolutely amazing in her attention towards serving us in a manner that knocked our socks off .. what a pleasure it was to have her looking after us. She is definitely a plus to the team there and took our experience from good to great !!”
“Great food and great service. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon to try this Rilakuma Omu rice. Very tasty, the curry was mild and sweet which I like. The egg was a little over cooked for an Omu rice but still delicious. It’s only available weds and thurs so you’ll have to make sure you come those days!”
“Amazing cozy cafe with fantastic cakes and light food options including sandwiches and korean food. Definitely try all the different cake flavors! The owner makes the most delicious cakes that have perfect sweetness and they have so many different options that we will definitely be back to try every flavor. The owners are also really nice and caring. The 5 star review on google maps speaks for itself.”

Remember to take a number from the dispenser or you'll be waiting for a long time!UPDATE July 2023: Sadly, this branch of Kent’s Kitchen is now closed with only the one on Victoria Drive in East Vancouver that remains open. “Bit of a "bait & switch" on the pasta feature, proclaimed 4 big prawns but the linguini came out with prawn/shrimp bits. Cream sauce underwhelming. Caesar salad was great. My guests enjoyed their meals.”
“This lovely restaurant is inside the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. There are public pay parking lots close by. We were there on a Saturday for the buffet brunch ($65); pricey but worth the experience. Ingredients are fresh; the variety is great, especially the salad bar (salads, cheeses, seafood, and fruit) and desserts (so many different delicious sweet treats). The carving station had 2 types of meat (beef and porchetta) and there’s an omelette station. Other hot foods are eggs benedict, bacon, chicken sausage, potatoes, roasted veggies and pasta. Nearby are two types of fresh juices: green and red. Lastly, there are croissants, other pastries and warm bread pudding. Lots of food!!! The friendly, helpful server came around often. And the birthday boy got a special dessert with a candle. We had a terrific time!”
“We ended up here because the place we were hoping to go to was booked for the night. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was amazing and knowledgable about the menu and the food was amazing. “I had a wonderful experience at salt and honey It was very pretty in there and we received great service. I was drawn in by the beautiful interior and have been wanting to go for a long time.I ordered the shrimp linguini and a ceaser salad it was 36$ for both I thought the food was delicious and just the right portion for me. We also ordered the Brookie a brownie cookie and it tasted really good too.It was pretty quiet in the restaurant which we did not mind.”
“To be honest, everything was pretty good! Even though the steaks came out well done + there was a delay in the kitchen (ordered it medium-well), I just want to say our sever Brittany was the best!! Not only did she insist on giving us a discount + making our dessert free, but she even provided us with spoons (since we were visiting the city)! She’s so meticulous and made my mom and I’s day! I really appreciate what she did and thank you so much for having us!!!”
“This place was quiet when we first walked in. Not too much of a crowd for a monday night. It was a rainy day and we had all had just about enough of the wet so we decided to stop in for a drink. About a minute after we entered we were greeted by Abby. After leading us to our table, she gave us a complete thorough rundown of all the new items on the menu as well as the monday special. She was fast, attentive and knowledgeable as well as being very warm. Like a quaint fire burning in the hearth of the corner of an inn. She helped dry our soggy bones. The food was fine and the drink was more than fine. In fact, I’d be lying if I said we only had one.The music left some to be desired.”
“Our waiter was very polite and attentive. Restaurant was very busy. Our food came fairly quickly, even though there was a lot of people. Our water was from the Ukraine, super nice man.”

Portions are generous and everything was solid from the fish, fries, tacos, and coleslaw. Limited seating inside so takeout might be the best option. The staff member who helped us was also the friendliest person ever. Can’t say enough good things”

“Our hostess, severs and food delivery staff were excellent, albeit that some do need to talk more succinctly when there is a pianist next to us - we couldn't hear the explanations of the food dishes very well when each dish arrived.”
