“Visited Sadra Persian Grill on our last day in this spectacular city!! We were promptly greeted, welcomed and seated! Ordered a variety of delicious appetizers aka meze platter and the Fehsenjun stew (pomegranate molasses and walnut) with the tahdig (crunchy rice). Everything was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! Truly a MUST visit if you like exceptional Persian food!! Couldn't leave without indulging in the famous Persian Ice Cream! Totally worth it!! Thanks a million for a delicious meal!! “I love Mehman Restaurant So Much.
Every time I start a set of night shifts at the hospital I order 2 of the koobideh kebabs and I eat it for dinner for the next 4 shifts. It is so filling and delicious. I’ve also tried their eggplant dip. SO YUMMY. And the sour chicken. Delicious. Everyone is so lovely and kind.
10/10 recommend

“Mani does really solid burgers at very reasonable prices. We had the bacon cheeseburger and the mushroom cheeseburger — both were big, satisfying, and packed with flavour. Despite their size, they were well put together and easy to eat, which I really appreciated. The Cajun fries were great as well. Definitely coming back!!“

“Really enjoyed my visit here. The service stood out right away, staff were welcoming, quick, and attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, especially the kebabs which were full of flavor and well prepared. The shallot yogurt was a highlight too, really smooth and rich. Portions were big and the prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, a solid spot I’d happily return to.“

“I was here for lunch. The persian food and location is awesome. Its right on Stevestons village with beautiful ocean view.
The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.

We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.

The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.“

“We ordered take out from here. The chicken kebab and smoky eggplant dip. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was soft and tender. I could have eaten the eggplant dip with a spoon! It was delicious. Only downside was the bread was a bit over toasted but it was delicious!

The quantity was also insane! Definitely enough for two meals. Our order was made in a timely manner as well. We live in the neighbourhood and are excited to order from here again!“

“Just tried Tanje Restaurant and the food was honestly amazing. The Persian flavors were so rich and authentic. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and paired so well with the fragrant saffron rice. The hummus was incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the warm pita on the side made it even better. The grilled vegetables and fresh onions with lime added the perfect balance to the meal.

Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and really satisfying. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food. Definitely one of the best Persian meals I’ve had. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious, comforting food. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Alibaba has a slightly old fashioned atmosphere, but if you are going there for kebab Del and Jigar, it is absolutely amazing. We have been there more than four times, and every single time the food was very fresh and delicious.

He even suggests that if you like, you can get fresh bread from the bakery next door, which is a great idea, although he does bring bread with the food himself. He is very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Even if he is not at the shop, if you call him, he comes, and he makes you feel truly welcome.

We really enjoyed talking with him as well. He has many stories and is a pleasure to chat with. His Del and Jigar truly taste like the traditional jigaraki places in Iran. I highly recommend it.“

“Came to Daddy's Grill for Persian food and left with trust issues... because now every other restaurant has to live up to this.

The koobideh was juicy, the rice was perfect, and everything tasted like someone's Persian grandma was personally supervising the kitchen.

Honestly, the food was bomb.com. Daddy can be my daddy anytime.

“By far the best FALAFEL I’ve had in Vancouver, and honestly the best since the last time I was in Iran. Everything was perfect — fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavor.
The customer service was outstanding as well. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do and care about their customers.

“I have been to both Akbar Joojeh in Lonsdale and I love the service and people here the most. Paniz was super nice and patient. It was very crowded and long line but she managed the line and the tables with great attitude and a smile. The food was tasty and great portion. The atmosphere was great. The kitchen staff there were some hard working people and I truly enjoyed my experience there.“

“Cazba is where I take-out food if I don’t know what to eat as you can never go wrong with it. Food is great but their containers are always not consistent; they only have 1 size but some days you get small container, someday you get large. Wait times too can vary from 5mins-30mins so if you have a tight schedule, better to ask before ordering.“

Prices are slightly higher than other Iranian markets, but the quality and selection make up for it. Don’t miss the Sangak bakery at the back—the bread is fresh and consistently excellent.“

“Went to Haida Sandwich in North Van to try out their Haida hot, Haida Special and Turkey breast sandwich. All of them were delicious especially the cold cut sandwiches. Way bigger than Subway and comes with mini fries. This place is always busy, restaurant is clean. The only thing I didn't like is the airport style receipt checks they do on you. 😂“
