“The Place in UBC kyros kitchen is the most favorite place to eat Mediterranean food and Greek Food, The Restaurant Staff and specially the Owner were real good to deal with. They actually take so much care of choice and give perfect reccomendations which were actually so so good like Braised lamb, Lamb shank, Falafal Platter and then one Chicken shawarma wrap all were so so good.
There Drinks Mango lassi, Masala Chai and Lemonade are worth trying.
Most of all the food served is so so Fresh and Healthy.

“First time trying their food tonight! Great little spot. I was craving a koobideh rice platter (beef kababs) and this place is really close to home. They were really busy tonight but they were fast and efficient, considering the busy-ness. The kababs were so juicy and flavorful. Fresh veggies. Everything well seasoned. Handsome staff too.“

“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for more of their delicious dishes!“

“One of the best hidden gems in East Vancouver! The food was outstanding, with generous portions, fresh ingredients. The donair plates were loaded with perfectly cooked meat, rice, salad, and hummus, and everything tasted amazing.

The newly opened patio was a pleasant surprise, especially with the incredible beer specials—$4.99 pints and $15.99 pitchers. Great food, cold beer, friendly staff, and excellent value all in one place.

I have been ordering from this place for years, I understand with the inflation and everything that they have the price increase, and I'm OK with that, but I'm not OK with the portion size. I still do love the food is always consistent with flavor, but definitely not happy with a portion. Ordered a variety of delicious appetizers aka meze platter and the Fehsenjun stew (pomegranate molasses and walnut) with the tahdig (crunchy rice). Everything was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! “A great late-night option for wraps and platters, my personal preference.

Chicken/Lamb/Beef platters are $18.49 each, and my portion was happily hefty when I picked it up in person versus ordering via DoorDash/Uber Eats. It comes with Greek salad, 2x domaldes, 2 potatoes, rice, and a heap of meat that gets covered in 2 sauces of your choice.

I also ordered a side tabbouleh that I wish was more dominant with parsley, but it’s still decent, and quite filling with the extra quinoa.

The location was super clean, and the customer service was sincerely warm and friendly. Not sure what’s with all the negative reviews, but in my opinion, if you enter with a smile, you’ll get served with smiles in return.

“Some of my friends had recommended Donair Dude for some excellent lunchtime meals.
I was very happy with my donair and pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service at this donair establishment. As it was my first Donair here, the attendant was very helpful and patient.
It is also open late and close to so many performances. A great location for before a Roger's Arena or BC Place event.
They have a great chicken donair, or a beef donair, or a lamb donair, or... you get it, lots of selection! 😉
They also offer a discount for SOME students, so ask if they do.“

“When new management took over, I think they started to over salt the meat (especially the chicken), and they made their potatoes too sour. The fries are still good, though.
