“Delicious Cheesecake. At first I asked for the best item they sold and was given a tasty savory pastry with feta and spinach wrapped inside. This was good, but as I was finishing I was told the cheesecake was best and I would agree. Friendly Staff even though the person I talked with knew little about baking. Decent Prices. Clean Establishment. Overall I’d definitely swing by for more cheesecake :)“
“The prices are reasonable and the food is unique and quite good. The chicken shawarma meat was not the most delicious I have tasted, but the basra/kabsa rice and the house Homa soup was absolutely delicious. My barber is near here and I have walked by it a lot. Finally ordered through Uber Eats. It was nice. Generous portions. I would recommend the non-saffron rice option. I believe it was called basra or kabsa rice. The falafel was also very good. The soup was like a meat broth with some noodles and herbs. Really hearty and delicious. Really hit the spot.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salad, rice, hummus“
“Came here after a long day of classes from Langaroo!Amazing food!! I could smell the deliciousness coming from outside the cafe!!!The lady working here was very kind and recommended that I get one of the plates for dinner :)I ordered for dine-in, but they package the food in plastic containers regardless. I chose to take it home to eat LOL!Vegetarian options: Falafel is vegetarian! There were also vegetarian side dishes too :3“
“Outstanding! Authentic, delicious Turkish desserts and superb, very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Although the new Robson location is tiny and doesn't have the additional menu items of the 2 other locations, for anyone in the area this is a wonderful addition to the flavors of downtown. Simit definitely has the best Turkish desserts in town.“
“The beef and lamb donair was delish. If you're a shroom fan, add the grilled tantalizing mushrooms. I dined at the Broadway and Willow location, which was clean with a nice atmosphere. The hospitality was wonderful... check out the photogenic team!“
“Very tasteful chicken donair , rice and salad were fresh for reasonable price.Plenty of free tables to seat.Workers are always pleasant and I feel well welcomed. Only thing is parking which is not easy to find on west Broadway.Overall 5 stars from me for Donair Dude ??“
“Love this place. I go there all the time. Food and service pretty good. Great for take out or dine in. Parking is free in the streets around it, just have to walk 1min. Usually get busy during lunch hrs so sometimes I order ahead.Parking: 6 stalls plus 2 SP parking beside it.“
“For those who love and know authentic Lebanese cuisine, this is by far the best that has to offer. If you are looking for real taste of lebanon, stop looking this is the place! and I know what I am saying. You will not be disappointed. I would not go to impress but surely for good food!“
“A fantastic little hole-in-the-wall kind of place which offers delicious wraps and platters. Their small location is inviting with a few seats with some characteristic decor. The combination of fresh vegetables, their sweet and spicy sauces, hummus and shawarma meats make for an absolutely tasty meal. The staff is also exceptionally polite!“
“The food at Simit lives up to the hype in the comments. I went in for just a pastry but left with two Borek and an order of Manti which were like little clouds of heaven. The selection of pastries is extensive and the bagel options fit any taste you might have. I’ve never craved Turkish food before but I will now after trying the Borek— the perfect savoury pastry to suit a need. I can’t believe I didn’t realize I had baklava so available to me nearby. If, like me you’ve walked past this place lots, do yourself a favour and stop for a minute the next time you walk by. There’s always people in here and it’s deserved.Vegetarian options: Many of the pastries specifically are vegan and will indicate it next to the pastry.“
