“Very nice restaurant. The service was wonderful. The owner checked on my friend and me to make sure our experience was good and said next time we were in that we'd have to order his lamb chops since it was our first time there; he was great. The server was nice. The food was sublime. And the portions are huge! Enough for leftovers. I was impressed by the different flavours of lassi (strawberry, blueberry, rose, and mango). Menu had lots of dessert options. I will definitely be visiting again!Dietary restrictions: Food is halal and menu contains vegetarian options. Suitable for those on a gluten-free and dairy-free diet.“
“Indulged in the delectable offerings of this Halal pizza haven in Vancouver! The flavors were outstanding, and the assurance of Halal ingredients added an extra layer of satisfaction. The dedication to quality and authenticity is truly commendable. If you're in Vancouver and craving delicious, Halal pizza, this place is a definite must-try! ??“
“This review is for take out only and it is during the soft opening. 1) food came quickly, it was a good temperature although too many little packets for veggies and hot sauce. An option to combine would be nice. 2) we ordered hummus, 2 lamb dishes 1 chicken breast. The lamb was good, did it shine from other lamb? Not really but still tasty and nice to have something in the neighbourhood other than Greek. The breast was moist and tasty. The hummus was tasty and not overwhelming with garlic. I like a little thicker, more tahini but I would order it again. The dishes came with rice with almonds and it was excellent. The hummus came with pita, which was thin and a style I like but the pita on counter was fresher. I honestly was not sure what to expect. The only other Yemeni food I have had was in, dare I say, Israel and stylistically it was similar and may have come from a different tradition. I look forward to trying the restaurant in house. I am particularly interested in the lentil soup and fava bean stew.“
“The prices are reasonable and the food is unique and quite good. The chicken shawarma meat was not the most delicious I have tasted, but the basra/kabsa rice and the house Homa soup was absolutely delicious. My barber is near here and I have walked by it a lot. Finally ordered through Uber Eats. It was nice. Generous portions. I would recommend the non-saffron rice option. I believe it was called basra or kabsa rice. The falafel was also very good. The soup was like a meat broth with some noodles and herbs. Really hearty and delicious. Really hit the spot.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salad, rice, hummus“
“The most delicious lahmacun you can find in Vancouver (for now) is here. Of course, it can be developed further over time and brought to the level of what we eat in Turkey. The operator (Mr. Ünal) is someone who takes care to find and use quality products.“
“This place is incredible!! The chicken wrap and the falafel wrap were amazing, the best I've had on the west coast, maybe the best I've had anywhere ever. I was super satisfied with my food and it was for a great price. The people who work the shop are also lovely.“
“Great shawarma, highly recommend. The food is good, and the employees are great. We came in with a group of 8 at midday (had fish n chips in mind but next door had no seating) and impromptu they pushed together a trio of tables and plated and served all the food with no issues. I was able to take care of the bill after we were finished eating with no issues. Very friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be visiting again.“
“Support local business. I tried their chicken poutine and was shocked at how big it was! So good not too salty like some places can be with their gravy. I could have shared it with someone else.. But I ate it all to myself ? definitely smothered in gravy and cheese.“
“Stopped at the restaurant in downtown for lunch. Ordered a chicken durum, knafeh and Turkish tea. They prepare fresh bread for every order so prepared a fresh bread for my durum, chicken and veggies were fresh too. Knafeh too was fresh out of oven and tea as well. This place is newly renovated and looks amazing. Staff and ambiance is nice too!“
“We came here unplanned looking for a halal place to break our fast during Ramadan. It was our first time to try Uyghur cuisine. We were welcomed with a iftar complimentary dates and cookies. We ordered lamb dumplings, stir fried chicken noodles and lamb skewers. The food was amazing. A blend of middle eastern and Chinese. We would definitely visit again.“
“It was my first time experiencing this restaurant and it was delightful. The service was truly exceptional, and the ambiance was pleasant with an African-inspired theme. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the grilled dishes.“
“"I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious- each dish was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly. The location was also convenient. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sandwiches, amazing staff.“
“went in at roughly ten o'clock on March 20, 2024. We had to wait a little longer than normal for meals because it was fairly busy. Loved the dosas, the chicken 65, and the cauliflower 65 that we ordered, though. And what a fantastic server!“
“Today, 31 Jan 2024 I went with my two of my friend at tandoori oven. The food was very tasty there. There was a lady who served the food who showed good customer service atmost respect and care for us. Upon asking she said her name was Khadijah. I liked her customer service. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. I would suggest others to try food inTandoori Oven and I would like to visit it again. Thanks.“
“The food is halal, which is not common in Vancouver. And the quantity and taste was better than you would expect around there. Would definitely eat again!Vegetarian options: There are many Keto and Vegetarian options just like there was meat options.“
