I don’t know if this is the typical experience, but whenever I go to a fine dining restaurant I end up enjoying the amuse-bouche and appetizers more than the entrees. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck. But not this place — every single dish was executed to perfection, and the mains were the best I’ve had of their kind: the fondue omelette, the pastas, and the fried fish were absolute standouts. The truffle fondue omelette in particular blew my mind. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! “Came here to spend the evening. We tried the ring of fire cocktail and it was so cool! Worth the price haha. Food was AMAZING and reasonably priced, good portion size as well. The service was nice as well, all the staff were super nice. Only thing is that hotel parking is pricey, it’s almost $40 for 3 hours.“

The broth is super creamy! Free spicy option as well and inexpensive refill.

“After reading the reviews, we just had to try it. We got the cod fish and chips, the halibut fish and chips and the clam chowder. My favorite was definitely the halibut fish, it’s juicy and crispy; the best fish and chips i’ve had. The cod fish wasn’t the best I wouldn’t order it again. Over all i would definitely recommend this place for a weekday lunch/dinner.“

We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

We did the tasting menu for 2 with red wine and added an extra dessert which they put on the house because we said we were celebrating. It's a place you could hang your hat - and we did. The garlic naan was fragrant, light and fluffy - not too oily. They also have a variety of mocktails and zero alcohol drinks on top of a great bar menu. The decor is modern/cozy and they have many tables for groups, date nights or solo dining. Very friendly and attentive staff! Paid parking in the surrounding neighbourhood but not out front.“

“One of the best Mexican restaurants in Vancouver, although be prepared to pay steep prices. The quality is similar to the taco stands found in LA and San Diego, but at a cost.

We ordered the taco trio which came at a whopping $26. The taco filling was delicious, very richly textured, and bursting with fresh ingredients. But at almost $9 per taco, it's quite mind boggling when it's a $2 USD street food item.

We also ordered a bunch more other items, all very good: guacamole with nachos, baked cheese portobello mushroom, a chili soup, and beef tortillas. They all were a bit salty; I came home and drank at least 3 cups of water within a few hours.

Service was attentive and polite, and our wait staff checked in on us at appropriate timepoints without being overbearing during our dinner.

Parking is paid on the street, and a bit hit and miss depending on the day and time.

Overall, a more upscale experience than what you can find in Vancouver, with authentic dishes made with a tasteful approach. I would return and interested to try out their entrees in the future.“

We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!“
