Ordered for collection. a little expensive but excellent food. the pho was just what I needed; the Golden delicious.
Yes, they serve chicken now, but I found the majority of their menu to be very vegan friendly. I’m just always when there are multiple options anywhere. The person at the counter was very nice and the food was good ( I had the The tofu and shredded bean curd banh mi)
I’m surprised how good this place was actually, I’ll definitely go back. There’s room for improvement, but it’s a pretty great place! I wouldn’t knock it till you try it.

Chau Veggie Express offers delicious and swift service for their vegan dishes. Their signature coconut shake is highly praised for its unique taste and refreshing quality. The staff are commended for their kindness, and the food is described as clean, fresh, and satisfying. The menu features items like fresh rolls, taro chips with a mild spicy sauce, and the golden temple soup, which customers find unforgettable. The fried rice bowl with vegetables and lemongrass ginger broth is also highly recommended for a tasty and filling meal. The Saigon Bowl, with its extra coconut curry broth, and the Midnight Swim Bowl, with its spiced peanut sauce, are also popular choices. Located inside the market, it provides a cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy healthy and tasty dining options, especially after traveling or exploring Granville Island. The restaurant also accommodates onion and garlic-free meals, and serves delicious traditional Vietnamese coffee.
