“I stopped in eith my child in a stroller on a random Monday with no expectations and was taken aback with how warm and welcoming this shop was. I was only sad that I didn't have time to order any actual food but it all looked and sounded amazing. The eggnog latte was really nice, super well done on the thickness of the foam 👏 and then the lady behind the counter held the door open for me, and insisted I take a stopper with me lol
Anyways.. felt great leaving there, id love to come back and try their soups“

“We stopped in to try the Everything Bowl. It did NOT disappoint. The flavors were amazing with beef, bok chop, wontons, and the most perfect noodles! We sat outside in the sun. Devin, the owner, was so nice and even told us some other favorite food places of his to try later in the day.“

“I got the mango slushie and it tasted pretty good! They have a good number of seats, and the staff was friendly and communicative. Unfortunately, they can’t make the bingsu dairy free, but they can make their milk teas with oat milk if you ask. The fruit teas and slushies are dairy free, of course.“
“Tried this place on Sunday and the people on the desk helped me decide my order. The tandoori chicken sandwich was perfect for a light breakfast and a must. And the latte was as good as it gets. I chose this coz this was very close to hotel Georgian Court where I was staying but this place in Yaletown needs more hype and I recommend it too all my friends traveling to Yaletown.“

“めちゃめちゃうまかった!Had sockeye salmon don and saikyo-zuke tara don both came with unique satisfying flavours and totally made our day. So appreciative of their efforts to offer such high-quality meals. You can tell generous good people running this place for sure which made me feel good being there. Cafe space is a part of office building foyer nice and open space (when building entrance locked you can buzz then building security lets you in). Oh did I mention matcha latte the flavour is very similar to what you would find on streets in Kyoto - simple goodness.“

“Stopped by Kramky Cafe for the first time today and I’m really glad I did. It’s in my neighborhood but a bit out of my usual route, so this was my first visit and definitely not my last.
The two staff working today were incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately set a good tone. The place has a great vibe. It’s cozy, small, and very much a neighborhood café feel, with nice music playing in the background that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your coffee.
I had their drip coffee, which was really good, and I liked that they use Moja Coffee, a solid Vancouver local roaster. I paired it with a sugar-free berry muffin, and the only sweetness comes from the banana, blueberry, and pineapple. It tasted clean, light, and surprisingly satisfying. Perfect for breakfast without feeling heavy. Best of all, come early around 730 and you’re in for some warm baked goods fresh from the oven!
Overall, great coffee, thoughtful food, kind service, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try something else next time.“

“In the heart of downtown Vancouver, this spot offers excellent Turkish coffee along with delicious pide, lahmacun, poğça, simit and Turkish black tea that taste truly authentic. The flavours are rich and satisfying, and the prices are very affordable. A great place to enjoy real Turkish comfort food in the city.🇹🇷👍🏽💯“

“Very quiet cafe, price is fair, service is good.
The London fog has a balanced tea and milk taste, a little sweet since they add sweetener by default. They also leave the tea bag in my cup.
Chocolate banana Croffle is pretty good, it’s a croissant pressed into waffle shape. A little hard to cut the croissant, but the flavor is good.“

“A cute cafe tucked in the Vancouver Public Library building, accessible from the outside on the south area of the block. It had cute little Christmas decorations, nothing overbearing, and has nice little tables and also an outdoor patio. Some merchandise is also for sale if you like to look. I had great service at the counter from the friendly staff. Sipped on a chai latte that was presented beautifully and a vegan wrap with plenty of flavor and grilled just right, served cut in half. Bill was high but expected for a downtown establishment and consistent with the quality I received!“

“Beth is one of the kindest people I know, and has created a great community hub. She initiated setting up Leg-In-Boot Square live music, with picnic tables and patio umbrellas. She does many good works, and helps many people. AND her baking & cooking are fabulous. The view is great, too.“

“Great little hidden cafe. Very cozy and nice! The owner is very friendly and clearly values all customers who visit. The pastries and goodies are EXCELLENT and the Tomato soup is delicious! However I do wish he had a few more offerings for food. The sandwiches are fine, but are a bit generic and could be a bit more interesting... especially considering everything else is very unique and high quality! All and all a nice spot though. It's kind of easy to miss the spot when walking by, but you will enjoy your experience if you take the time to go in!“

“First coffee we have had in Vancouver that is even close to Melbourne coffee! Recommend this place for any Australians visiting. The staff are lovely, and the booths are comfortable.“
“Today I had the opportunity to visit this branch and it surprised me since the last time I came here. The place was really clean and shine which gives you an excelente feeling of clean environments. The service was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic, many decors that make the place great! There were many options to eat and drink. Even, I saw they kindly requested somebody to not put smoking staff on the table. The person kindly drunk his coffee and it was the correct way to do it. Nice place if you have a small meeting or chit chat close to this area. I’ll come again! Keep improving always!!“

“Pretty good experience. The dinner knife was to dull cut the duck. Asking for a sharper knife didn’t help as their steak knives are dull. Probably haven’t been sharpened in 20 years. Excited staff. Delicious fresh bread and butter. Cute duck, different with crunchy vegetables“

“Good time dining here for coffee on a weekend late morning! Service was friendly and prompt. They have an extensive beverage menu and baked goods options (including their coffee buns and other items). I had a decaf latte and a To Live For Bakery Lemon Coconut Loaf. Latte had a nice coffee flavour. The loaf came refrigerated and I didn't ask, but I'm sure they would've warmed it on request. My friend had their pistachio latte (great flavour with pistachio pieces on top) and the white chocolate pistachio croissant. They ate it cool/room temperature, but it probably would've tasted better heated (as there was filling inside). Still a good croissant though! Would recommend and return.
One thing we noticed was the hand sanitizer at the self-service counter (where you return dishes, get milk for coffee, etc.), located against a wall right above the stir sticks. As the automatic dispenser can drip quite easily, the extra liquid is quite susceptible to landing on and contaminating the objects below. They should relocate it, or at least, not have items like utensils underneath it.“

“Love this neighborhood gem! As a local regular, I've basically turned Fresco into my remote office—I come here almost daily to work, and it's the perfect spot. The coffee and matcha lattes are superlative (seriously some of the best around), the food is consistently great, and the vibe is always welcoming. Shoutout to the super friendly staff—Maddy, Niki, Amin, and Argi—who make every visit feel like coming home. 5 stars, highly recommend!“

“Easy to overlook because it’s in the YMCA and off the street but this place is AWESOME! Great selection and the food is awesome. Tons of protein stuff and I think they do creatine in your drinks as well which is a big plus. Staff are really nice too. Really impressed!“
“A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood
This cozy grocery shop and café is the perfect spot to unwind after a hectic day. They offer refreshing drinks and just what you need in a pinch — all without the hustle and bustle of a typical coffee shop. A great little escape right in the neighborhood!“

“Went to Koffie today and had an Americano with avocado toast. The café is a bit hidden, but it really surprised me in a good way. Excellent service, calm atmosphere, and good music. “We were on the way to a different cafe last night to buy treats when we came across this bakery and thought we’d rather purchase from a local bakery.
We bought the Dubai Tres Leches and it was really good! We will come back to try other desserts!
We walked in past the closing hour without realizing it yet the people in the bakery still happily served us🥹❤️“

“Timbertrain Coffee is right next to Porchlight Press where we bought unique letterpress booklets and cards where we were doing last minute shopping. We were so hungry it was necessary to stop.As shown on the menu, there were no vegan lunch items, so I was stuck with smoked chicken and pear sandwich with no way of removing the egg-based mayo. Oh well, time for some B12 food. The sandwich was properly heated, with the inside impressively heated, and the outside crunchy. The pear was a pleasant touch. The coffees were well made and micro-foam just fine. We've had coffee here previously, but I didn't realize that there are tables behind the coffee bar. The space inside was industrial, bare but honestly pleasant. Quiet too because the tables were not full, only one person seemed to be camped there with a laptop. We find this location more pleasant than the Timbertrain in Gastown.“

“If you are like me and growing up in a household with “traditional, slow cooked, 12 hours on the stove” kinda’ dishes were just another regular Tuesday night dinner, you know those flavours and dishes are almost impossible to find elsewhere. La Tana has managed to create the same flavours, dishes and love that I remember so dearly sharing with my family around the table. Thank you La Tana“
