La Tana has managed to create the same flavours, dishes and love that I remember so dearly sharing with my family around the table. Thank you La Tana“

“Had a fantastic lunch here today. Ate the Avocado Pesto Tomato Grilled Cheese -– Mozzarella, Avocado, Tomato, Pesto on 3 Slices of Toasted Bread w/ Garlic Butter. I added a medium hot sauce but probably could have chosen a spicier hot sauce since the avocado 🥑, tomato 🍅, and cheese 🧀 were good counterweights to the hot sauce. Found a great choice of lots of sodas. I had the Wildwonder Lemon Ginger soda.“

“We stopped in for coffee and a snack and left delighted with our experience at Ruka Coffee. The butter chicken wrap was so flavorful and heated to perfection.. I didn't get a picture because it was devoured so quickly! I had a cold brew with sweet cream which was delicious and my husband really liked the espresso. I wish we had a Ruka Coffee in Philadelphia but at the same time, it would be so dangerous because I'd get a butter chicken wrap so often 😂“

“We tried Cafe Dilli on a whim and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Butter Paneer sandwich, a classic poutine, thai iced tea, and a mango pineapple cooler. Everything was so delicious and the prices are great. It’s incredibly quiet and calm in here, with lots of ample seating. Will definitely be back!“

“Lovely place. Nice decor. Good service. Lots of items on the menu to choose from for drinks and bingsu.

We got a large Mango bingsu. Large is a good portion. We shared it amongst 3 people and we were not left wanting. Ice is fluffy, mango was naturally sweet. In the middle there were some corn flakes which was an unexpected surprise. Ice cream on top was yummy and not overly rich.

We also wanted to try the strawberry tanghulu but sadly they were sold out.“

“A hidden cafe with delicious foods and yummy drinks! Both my bf and I were happy with the food we ordered! Everything was super fresh and flavourful! I especially loved the smoky flavour of the Tofu Misoyaki! The bird seed cookie was also great, though a tad too sweet for me~ I did love how light the banana bread was! Both drinks were not too sweet either~ Would definitely drop by again if I’m in the area for lunch! The food was healthy but delicious~“

“We stopped in to try the Everything Bowl. It did NOT disappoint. The flavors were amazing with beef, bok chop, wontons, and the most perfect noodles! We sat outside in the sun. Devin, the owner, was so nice and even told us some other favorite food places of his to try later in the day.“

“Cute Cafe in downtown Vancouver.
Place fills up fast. They have to go options. Staff is friendly and food was excellent! Their pastries are also delish! Tried their carrot cake and Banana chocolate chip bread. Sooo good! The coffee mugs gave it a special touch and coffee was tasteful. Their Shakshuka is a Must try!

“I got the tuna sandwich and one of the soups of the day, which was a tomato blend. Honestly, for such a simple combo I loved it.So much it would definitely come back. The soup actually was so simple.But tasted so good and the tuna sandwich was actually one of the best i've ever had“

“Brief coffee stop mid-day on a Tuesday. Had their Iced Caramel Macchiato and an Iced Matcha Latte. At the counter, they ask about sugar preference (sweetened or unsweetened). I added oat milk to my latte for an extra charge of $1.25. Refreshing! The price is on par for most coffee shops or chains out there, but at $8.14 with the oat milk add for a 12 oz, it's not an everyday spend. I did think there was too much ice for my liking as it waters down the matcha with time, so if I return, I'd request less. Lots of pockets of seating inside and during sunny days, it's quite bright and welcoming with the windows and layout. We didn't feel rushed although it wasn't crowded (and there were a number of people working on laptops). Prompt and friendly service.“

The London fog has a balanced tea and milk taste, a little sweet since they add sweetener by default. They also leave the tea bag in my cup.

Chocolate banana Croffle is pretty good, it’s a croissant pressed into waffle shape. A little hard to cut the croissant, but the flavor is good.“

“Beth is one of the kindest people I know, and has created a great community hub. She initiated setting up Leg-In-Boot Square live music, with picnic tables and patio umbrellas. She does many good works, and helps many people. AND her baking & cooking are fabulous. The view is great, too.“

“Such a sweet little spot in Chinatown neighborhood! Was greeted with such a warm team of staff, especially the owner who’s very friendly and funny guy ahah. It looks pretty small from the outside but it’s actually spacious and very cozy inside. They make their own sandwiches and wraps, and everything I tried has been really good and never disappoints. The lemon-berry loaf slice I had was so good too!! My partner has been a regular there for a while, and going in for the first time with him, I could see why he keeps coming back.

“Deja Brew has the best sandwiches and wraps in the area! The Chicken Diablo is delicious, and so filling! My office orders lunch from here at least once a week, and it's always a hit. Their cookies and baked goods are all enormous, and so good. The staff is also so genuinely friendly, and know many of their customers by name. Deja Brew is always a great lunch experience.“

“Love this neighborhood gem! As a local regular, I've basically turned Fresco into my remote office—I come here almost daily to work, and it's the perfect spot. The coffee and matcha lattes are superlative (seriously some of the best around), the food is consistently great, and the vibe is always welcoming. Shoutout to the super friendly staff—Maddy, Niki, Amin, and Argi—who make every visit feel like coming home. 5 stars, highly recommend!“

“Pretty good experience. The dinner knife was to dull cut the duck. Asking for a sharper knife didn’t help as their steak knives are dull. Probably haven’t been sharpened in 20 years. Excited staff. Delicious fresh bread and butter. Cute duck, different with crunchy vegetables“

“I recently visited Pallet Coffee Roasters - Howe Street and had a really solid experience. The space feels modern and welcoming, with plenty of natural light — a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done.

The coffee was well-balanced and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality of the beans, and the baristas know what they’re doing.

Service was friendly and efficient, even during a busy period. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get quite crowded and a bit noisy at peak times.

Overall, a dependable coffee spot in downtown Vancouver that I’d happily return to.“
