“Went there 8:00 AM thinking they’d have fresh baked good. Ordered a croissant and a scone. They were at least 1 or 2 days old. Croissant was soggy. The cheese on top came off like rubber and the scone was so dry and stale, it was crumbling. On top of that it cost a fortune. Most definitely a skip. the latte was on par with a Tim Hortons regular coffee. I.e. not a latte at all“

“I was told that coffee was supposed to have a similar smoothness to chocolate and this place has been the only cafe where I’ve experienced this. I’m a local of over 30 yrs and have lived everywhere in the lower mainland and I won’t go anywhere else to get coffee unless I have to.
I’m not a tipper at cafes either, unless the service is really good and the people are sincere and these people really are! They’re very kind, sincere and welcoming. When they’re going through a rush, I noticed how the team really works together to get everyone’s orders out efficiently and surprisingly fast. So I tip 20% every time I go now ☺️
I was told they make all their food in-house too!“

“Great fresh baked goods.
I come here whenever I'm working this way for an oatmeal muffin or jalapeno muffin.
Great coffee.
I love how they let you pour your own oat milk and don't keep it under lock and key for a price.“

“Best coffee in Lower Lonsdale. The beans are always great & the owner equally makes the best London fog I’ve ever had.
Beats Bean on 5th, nemesis, parallel 49th & cream pony. Wonderful sized takeaway cups, im always disappointed by the other places for their tiny take away cups.
Everyone I’ve brought here has never been disappointed! Thanks again ??“

“Excellent quality of pastries and croissants
I suggest starting at 8:30 so that we can buy our coffee and pastries before starting work.
During my wait for opening, I saw that several customers were disappointed to buy!“

“We visited Nemesis for breakfast on Labor Day and were impressed by the bustling atmosphere and delicious offerings. The bright, modern space felt inviting, and while the avocado and salmon toasts were tasty, the standout was their unique sugar cone. With trendy coffee presentations and a menu that quickly sells out, Nemesis is a must-visit for a vibrant breakfast experience with friends or even alone with your books.

“It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“

From the amazing customer service including how sweet and genuine they were to a regular in front us helping him locate his umbrella to the exceptional warm and friendly service we received as well. Also amazing coffee and treats!“

“I always stop by when I have to go nearby or pass by ^^ The Korean owner is good at making coffee that suits Korean tastes, and it seems to be popular in Canada as well, so I'm happy and proud. There are also coupons, so it's fun to get stamps. May you prosper!“

“This coffee shop is a surprise, which makes this autumn rainy weekend afternoon start to smell fragrant, warm and mellow.
This is the kind of coffee you'll love in one bite.
After checking, I found out that this is the famous 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters in Vancouver. They are the representative of Vancouver’s own roasting brand, one of the top ten roasting factories in the world, and a frequent visitor to the WBC World Barista Competition. And you can also drink their beans in many cafes in China, such as Hangzhou Cafe Bajiao Cup.
The iconic Tiffany blue makes you unconsciously mobilize your elegant and refined imagination, slow down and sit down gently in the beautiful bubble you created. Turning around to look at the street outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the various passers-by who were soaked by the rain seemed to have their own romantic stories. When a cup of latte with an attractive aroma is placed in front of you, the beautiful and impermanent latte art will urge you to quickly experience all the flavors of the moment with your blooming taste buds.
So, one such afternoon was left in the sea of ups and downs.
Like to dabble in karma and save their Lucky's donuts for next time. Go out, pull up your hood, the weather is cool in autumn.

The rest of the staff are also nice and friendly. The sandwiches are good, they range from panini's to regular bread to croissants, I've tried most of them. The baked good are amazing here - definitely the hilite of your visit, all homemade, Euro style. Strudels, desert bars, unique cookies and more, they're all there.***She may bake the best croissants this side of France***.If you're in a hurry, head to SBUX and drink their swill coffee. Brazza is a relaxed pace, enjoyable, European coffee and sandwich bar, worth spending the extra time.“

“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

“My partner and I visited first time and we were very impressed with the food and experience. We sampled a few things off the menu, and were very happy with our selections. The owner was incredibly friendly and we had a good little chat. Prices and portions were good, and restaurant was clean. Very happy to have food that reminded us of our trip to Korea. Cant wait to get back and try more of the menu. Thank you!“
