“Stopped by Cliff House Restaurant and Bar inside the beautiful Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and it ended up being one of the highlights of the visit. Started with the beer flight and was impressed by the variety—great selection and a fun way to try different local styles.

For food, I ordered the Fish and Chips and it completely exceeded expectations. The fish tasted incredibly fresh with a light, crispy batter and perfectly cooked inside. Honestly, better Fish and Chips than some I’ve had in the UK. The fries paired really well and the portion was satisfying after walking around the park.

Great atmosphere, solid service, and a perfect spot to relax during your visit to Capilano. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re visiting the park.“

“Found out it serves high tea when we picked up birthday cake for a friend.
Portion is quite a lot for high tea. Menu is interesting with Hong Kong elements.

Scones: baked good but not served clotted cream but whipped cream, butter and jam.

Savoury: egg sandwich is a big too big and normally bite sized. Curry beef puff and quiche taste good.

Sweets: mango pomelo puff is creamy. Coffee milk tea cheesecake is fair.

We all need to take some home.

“I got 2 dishes both were brought out fast and tasted amazing. I regularly go there and the hash is perfect you finish the dish and ask for some Nutella for the pancake. This way you have a savory healthy and a sweet treat to end with. The servers are very nice and hospitable aswell everything is just great.“

Renata is hands down the best server at the restaurant, she is very attentive and makes great recommendations based off of what you are wanting. They really compliment off of one another and give a 10/10 experience that I have come to look forward to with every visit. I will continue to recommend jack on Lonsdale to friends whenever I can!“
