“We had breakfast here today. Frankly I can make my own bacon and eggs but sometimes nice to have them made for us. Perfectly cooked eggs sunnyside up back nacin delicious. Toast needs toasting twice otherwise you get warm bread. I didnt know they deep fry smashed potatoes didnt use to do that. Would also like better coffee or lattes. Oj could be better like simply orangr insted of minute maid. Lovely kitchen manager Jas Serai both cooked and briught us our food. Our booth upholstery was ripped and manager insisted we move rather than letting us close the blinds.still food pretty good and people lovely.“

“Excellent place to have a great time and play darts. This pub did offer three (3) sets of darts to use in a glass near the boards. Staff were very friendly and made our experience a great time. We will return to this pub as it is one of the best in Richmond B.C!!!“
“Brilliant food every time I stayed at the hotel Tsawassen Inn next door. Loved the cod poke bowl twice I came without the rainbow salad just what I loved and the scrub and soda I adored to drink wish I knew what you put in it to recreate it back home in Britain. “Victoria the server - you were PHENOMENAL - I’ve been to a LOT of pubs and this is my first time @ pioneer for my friends moms birthday even though I live a 5 min walk away. You gave 100% service. This woman needs a RAISE ! So friendly, understanding when we had 4 tabs for a table and keeping track of what we were spending and what our “mom” had to drink for her birthday. Overall best first experience EVER because of her. We will totally be back on Friday nights!!! You were the best server I have ever had honestly ! (I honestly know from a regular the nachos are phenomenal too)“
“Our group of eight came for lunch on a weekday early December 2023. This was our fourth time here in five years. Prices are reasonable and the venue is comfortable and open with many tables looking on to the greens and gardens. The young female server we had was delightful, charming and lovely (sorry didn't get her name). Our food came all together and was fresh, hot and each order was spot-on.Six of us opted for burgers -- one Meadows Loaded, one Black Bean Veggie, and four Wild Salmon which turned out to be Sockeye(?). The Salmon Burger afficionado in the group, the one who orders it anytime it's on the menu, said it was a very good Salmon Burger.Another ordered the Butter Chicken, his cleaned off plate was obvious testament to its respectability considering his South Asian roots.The last of our group had the Seafood Pasta which really impressed. The sockeye salmon, prawns and scallops were fresh, plentiful and perfectly cooked (not overcooked!!!). The whole dish was delicicous, perfectly seasoned, not heavy and not salty (thank you!).? The serving was too large to finish but the diner still raved about the meal when they polished off the remainder at home hours later. “This is our go-to pub because the food is SO good. Well worth the drive from Richmond to Ladner for the quality. The service is good with friendly servers. The ambiance is warm and cozy feeling. Comfortable chairs and large tvs all around make it a great sports bar.“
“We stayed at this motel because our Ontario flight got delayed to the next day to so our previous motel had told us this was a good option. When you pull in here, it looks abandoned. It looks terrible. Just a way older motel. But once we checked into our room, we were VERY shocked. The room we stayed in was probably one of the best rooms you will ever get for a motel. There was some makeup stains on the sheets we asked for new ones but housekeeping said it was stained. There was three of us and one bed so I slept on the couch. The couch was great for sitting and sleeping on. Very comfortable. Good little mini fridge. Nice big bathroom and nice mirror beside the bed outside the bathroom. The Pub was sadly closed but I didn’t really care. The staff here are SUPER nice and supportive because I was in a golf tournament and they were super nice too me. Great place, clean rooms, AMAZING staff, and a great motel overall! ?“

“We celebrated our 10th anniversary this weekend. I wanted a quaint, out of the way spot and The Steveston fit the bill perfectly! We loved the jacuzzi room with a large comfortable king bed. The front desk staff was helpful and generous. I had heard the bar downstairs was a nuisance for previous guests and meant to bring my earplugs. Unfortunately, I forgot them and it was the monthly "party night" at the Buck and Ear. LOL! It was LOUD! BUT... I would definitely book a room here again. My only recommendation would be to have earplugs available to guests or alert them when they book that the bar can be rather boisterous. Oh, and the breakfast was great! Just the thing we needed to fuel us through a visit to the Cannery Museum and Shipyards. We are already planning to return to Steveston for the Maritime Festival later in July.“

“I am blown away !!! I just ordered a few orders of the spaghetti special’s and a couple of burgers and they were SO GOOD !!! I can’t believe how good these burgers are !! Tastes like a homemade patty not a cheap frozen one like everywhere else. The bun was fresh and delicious!!! And the spaghetti! It is also delicious again tastes like a homemade sauce not the usually generic tasting one that every restaurant seems to use including Boston pizza. This place is really really good. Great prices and great food. I will be back all te time now cheers guys great work !!! Sorry burger didn’t lAst long enough for the picture. It was too good !!“
