“I love the food, it’s always delicious with good portions and is amazing value. The service is quick and is way better than an ihop or Denny’s place. Nancy is the star of the show, she is so sweet, provides excellent service and takes the time to remember your name and greet you warmly. This is such a lovely gem in new west and I’m glad to have this spot as a go to breakfast/lunch spot! 😊“

“Me and my husband wanted to try out the food here, so we ordered a takeout. We got the Shanghai noodle with chicken, curry beef, honey prawns, honey garlic chicken, spicy deep fried chicken, and tofu beef soup (I dont remember the exact names). The price for all of this is reasonable I would say, but we did ordered a lot. All were delicious and filling! The portions were just right, not too small or too much, which is what I like. We will definitely come back here when were craving for Chinese food! Sorry I couldn't take photos, we ate the food immediately when we got home.“

“We had a great experience at Cactus Club. The steaks were cooked as we all wanted. The drinks and selection were great. We splurged and had the desserts London Fog Creme Brulé was excellent. Our server Lara did a great job, and checked in on us from time to time to make sure we were good.
Because we went on a Saturday around 6 PM, we made reservations just in case it was busy enough to be waiting. We would come back to this location again.“

“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.“

“Made it in time for Happy hour last night and it feels like I ripped them off as I had a meal and a drink and my bill came up to 25 bucks. Oh I ordered the cauliflower bites and the avocado roll. Both really tasty and fulfilling. The drink was a passionfruit smash or something along the lines of that and it was also very good. I could see myself drinking too many of those. Never a good idea. “We were a table of 10 celebrating our mother's 89th birthday and really enjoyed the entire experience. The venue has a lovely ambience and the $59 three-course menu is a great value. Almost everyone had the striploin and lobster, and we all found it delicious. The service staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially our server, Tootsie. She realized from the start that many at the table would want hot water instead of cold (Asian preference) -- so we did not even need to ask. She also checked in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Making a reservation for our large group was easy too, with someone responding within 24 hours to email (unlike another restaurant I tried). I will definitely recommend Riverway Restaurant to others!“

“This Brown’s on Glen has incredible service, Incredibly compassionate staff, and their food, especially the blackened chicken cowboy salad is like it used to be and back to phenomenal….yum… the chicken was so so tasty and tender …yummy! We were there the last week in May and while the service was slow it was still great!! The manager came by and apologized and also insisted he pay for a couple of drinks for us. Even though we insisted on paying as we simply appreciated him apologizing for the slow service. We had a great discussion about how hard it is to staff restaurants. I can’t recommend this Brown’s enough. Great place to go with two people, a small group or a large group.“

“First time in Coquitlam and the Cactus Club Cafe was recommended by a friend. We went at 1 PM and it was still busy from lunch so the 5-10 minute wait was acceptable. We were seated in the heated patio and our server was an absolute delight. Drinks & food were ordered at the same time. As we were waiting I noticed very nicely plated meals being served around us and really good looking cocktails. Our food came out quickly and was also plated very nicely. Two Chicken Pesto Quesadillas with Truffle fries and one order of Baja Fish Tacos with Truffle fries. All three of us had the same complaint. the Quesadillas and the Tacos were very light on the dressings. I could barely taste any sauce on the Tacos which made them dry & the Quesadillas had very little pesto, which should be a prominent taste. The fries were nice but not hot, just barely warm, in fact the parmesan wasn't remotely melted. The Garlic Aioli was absolutely divine tho! The patio was warm and comfortable on a cold day and the music was at a good level to still hold a conversation as the table. I will definitely go back at a slower time to see if the food can get a 5 Star rating. Definitely a great place for lunch, drinks or dinner and the service was excellent!!“

“It's not a fancy place, think a half step up from an IHOP or Denny's, but the food is outstanding and the service is very good. Their menu is really varied and they have some great happy hour specials. My entree was outstanding.“

“Celebrated our convalidation and my 3rd daughter’s baptism reception at Burnaby Mountain Restaurant on April 11. We had a buffet and our guests loved the food. Our guests enjoyed the bar service as well. The ambience was cozy and elegant. We love how it overlooked the golf course and the little pond. We had the patio open as well and it became a great space for kids to run around and play. The sound system was great — we played our own music! Overall, we had such a great time and would highly recommend Burnaby Mountain Restaurant for any gatherings or celebrations. The banquet was big enough to have a photobooth as well. “It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

“My experience is pretty good. I was greeted by a pink haired little lady who greeted me with a smile and was so excellent at quick conversation. I wish I got her name, but I’m pretty sure it was Micaela, because I heard a server calling her that. Our server, I believe was Jamie, was exemplary at quickly giving us our food while multitasking all of his other tables. The only thing I could complain about was the prices of the food, but the food was so. Dang. Good. I think overall the staff is what makes the experience and this time; I think the staff made the experience not only great but perfect. Amazing atmosphere as well, definitely come here for a good photo with your friends.“

But then the Staff is always friendly and the people there are friendly and always a good time . “My wife and I love this place. Food is always great, service is beyond. Olivia is absolutely the best!!! There was one time I spilled a very expensive tequila drink and they replaced it without even charging me for the second drink. It was totally my fault but they comped me another drink anyway. My wife and I have probably been here over 40 times in the past year and a half, and it's always excellent.“
