“Good old style cafe favoured by locals. Travelled over the bridge to New Westb and enjoyed a good breakfast. Great value and food portions. Greater Vancouver is losing these essential neighbourhood Western- Chinese food cafe’s and this one is a must to enjoy a meal.“

“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.“

“Stopped by at Cactus Club Cafe in Delta on a Tuesday night and ended up loving the light by the windows for some casual phone shots of the food. The yellowfin tuna poke bowl was fresh and plated really well, and our server actually pointed out the best spot to sit for a photo without me even asking. It wasn't too loud for a weeknight, so we could actually talk and I could mess around with a few shots without feeling rushed. Parking out front was easy too, which made the whole evening low stress from start to finish.“

“Sat at the bar with a few of the regulars to watch the first half of the Monday Night Football game which they were kind enough to play while also having a playoff baseball game on one of the other screens. Enjoyed a bottle of Merlot at half price during happy hour which our bartender Taylor was prompt to be sure my glass was never empty, alongside a bottle of sparkling water. No food since I'd just had Thanksgiving lunch, however I did notice one of their staff Adam with a big jar of olives which when I asked for some, they were kind enough to share a handful in a glass to my delight. Super friendly staff and solid service will most definitely have me back for future happy hour visits to catch up with my mates.“

“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

“This Brown’s on Glen has incredible service, Incredibly compassionate staff, and their food, especially the blackened chicken cowboy salad is like it used to be and back to phenomenal….yum… the chicken was so so tasty and tender …yummy! We were there the last week in May and while the service was slow it was still great!! The manager came by and apologized and also insisted he pay for a couple of drinks for us. Even though we insisted on paying as we simply appreciated him apologizing for the slow service. We had a great discussion about how hard it is to staff restaurants. I can’t recommend this Brown’s enough. Great place to go with two people, a small group or a large group.“

“I ordered the Thanksgiving lunch special and found it to be okay overall. The butternut squash soup was quite light, and I think it would have been better with a stronger, more pronounced flavour. The turkey was decent, though nothing particularly stood out. I opted for the cheesecake instead of the pumpkin pie, as I’m not usually a fan of pumpkin pie. Overall, it was an okay meal, but there’s room for improvement in terms of flavour.“

“10/10 experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff who were friendly and attentive throughout my entire dining. The atmosphere is beautifully designed as well. The food and drinks were fresh, flavourful and made with care. I want to thank Mark for recommending the strawberry matcha latte and tiramisu latte, I found both drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness. He was very knowledgeable in the drinks and food as I was looking for something as a light snack and highlighted the BLT, thaimato & basil and the chocolate croissant. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for amazing coffee, food and service. Thank you again Mark and we will be back !!“

“Had my birthday dinner here on September 25 and our server Zen was amazing! He was so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. “Great as always. Can't beat the value, whether it's their incredible Mon to Thr specials, or regular menu. Tasty healthy food. Large portion. Service was great in spite of the fact that they were busy, as I'm sure they always are during peak dinner hours. This place has been here for years and they seem to always have great, happy servers in my experience! They must hire well, and/or train and treat their servers very well. Be prepared to wait in a line if you go during peak periods, but that's to be expected when you visit a popular place like this.“

Loved the Yorkies and yam fries. They mistakenly gave us extra fries too and just let us have it free. Will definitely consider going again if I'm in the area.“

“It’s a very nice concept and you can pick what you want. Choose from noodles, veggies and meat. Tofu and 9 different sauces to choose from. Only problem is that the flat heating plate they use for everything, if you are vegetarian, they will make same on the same where they made the meat one. They should have kept half of the plate for vegetarian people.“

Nice to find those spaces that feel like a step back in time; when things were less complex. Lots of space, many TV screens, Karaoke on weekends... you can't beat it! Great service too. Even my 82yr old mother loved it. Am a huge wrestling fan... hoping they may show some of the big WWE events. Gonna make the trek from Vancouver a lot more frequently. Its worth it! Happy they had colouring pages for kids and a very fun kids menu. Wait staff were helpful and kind, but sometimes hard to track down (maybe they were short-staffed on this evening?) but overall nice experience with family. Didn't take any photos, but it's White Spot, you all know what you're getting.“

“Nothing better than service with an attitude here for a hockey tournament, they closed the door said they’re at capacity despite several empty seats. The staff was super disorganized and only one waitress was bringing our food and drinks she’s run off her feet, while the two others focus on telling people they’re at capacity.
