“We visited Home Restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful experience. Due to the size of our party, there was a longer wait than expected, but it was absolutely worth it.
The Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings was delicious and tasted like a true holiday meal. Unfortunately, the pumpkin pie was sold out, but we opted for the pumpkin cheesecake instead, and it was a great alternative that didn't disappoint.
A special shoutout to our server, Maya, who was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy and clearly having a lot on her plate, she made sure we were well looked after.
Great food, excellent service, and a warm holiday atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!“

“Had a very large party of 36 and special shout out to Brooklyn and Georgia who managed the orders of everyone amidst the constant moving around we all did visiting multiple tables. They are standout servers who worked very hard while remaining professional and friendly! Thank you for making our experience so memorable.“

“They are under New Management and I am impressed! I've tried nearly every Chinese Restaurant in Mission & Maple Ridge and haven't found one that impressed me until today. The dishes were properly flavoured without being overly salty. Nothing was over-cooked even though I had a 30 minute drive home. The servings were generous, even overflowing from their containers. Well done! I have noticed that they also have Dim Sum on weekends from noon-2 pm and look forward to trying that next.“

The food came cold because it was so busy but he jumped to fix it and we had the best time. The second plate of food was delicious and piping hot. Woman’s Bathrooms weren’t well maintained but we would come back just for the great service.“

“Finally a cactus with exceptional service. Shoutout to Hussain and Ryan who were great the whole night. Our reservation was late due to the previous party not leaving on time. Husain kept us updated and offered us alternatives to reduce our wait. He was a great communicator. He offered complementary appies and dessert for the inconvenience of waiting. Ryan was our server and he was on point and attentive all evening- even anticipating our requests and checking in consistently. We have been to many Cactus locations and this experience was miles above the rest. Thank you for giving our niece a wonderful birthday celebration.“

“We waited 10 minutes before someone came to the table. It was not a busy night. The restaurant was quarter full. I had 2 drinks and the last one came when we were ready to go.i love eating here and it is expensive to eat out on our budget so I was hoping for better service“

“Just popped in with friends after doing the 5k Foam Fest. It's a cute little restaurant. We had some fresh flowers on our table, and the women's washroom had fresh flowers too - cute touch. Our waitress was kind and we didn't wait too long for food. Our coffees were topped up a couple of times. Now I will say the cost of the food really doesn't match the portions and quality, in my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but this is definitely a place with a more pricey menu, which kind of surprised me honestly. It's not a place I'll go to often, but I could see myself coming back with friends.“

“Three of us friends have always gone to the White Spot for dinner before a movie in Walnut Grove, Langley, BC. After many visits to the area, we opted to take a chance and visit a different restaurant in the area. Wow! We were blown away. Ricki's in Walnut Grove will be our "go to" resturant for meals from here on in. Five star all the way! Thank you for such a lovely experience.“

“If you have any special requests for this restaurant be sure to call them and not use the open table messaging option for the restaurant. Even though go two tables were made under the same name they did not have the insight to put the two tables close to each other. Want until we showed them the message through open table that they acknowledged that they received the additional message requesting the tables to close to each other. Service is dependent on the serve you receive. Some are definitely better then others. This specific reservation the service was very lacking and slow.“

“Great place with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service!
I ordered the beef carpaccio, and the flavors were on point and beautifully balanced. The fried capers, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, and pickled onions worked really well together. That said, I think a few small adjustments could elevate the dish even further. Toasted bread or croutons would add a nice textural contrast, a more aged Parmesan would bring greater depth, and most importantly, a drizzle of good olive oil would help bring everything together, as the aioli felt a little too subtle.
The grilled seafood was also excellent, and the seafood itself was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were beautifully prepared, although I felt the dish could benefit from a touch more seasoning, acidity, and sauce. The miso butter cream was delicious but a little too restrained, and a more generous amount would have helped tie the whole dish together.“

“On Tuesday, May 12th, seniors group from Taproot Community Support Services and Staff had celebrated birthday and our annual spring lunch outing. Jann our server was excellent and worked so hard to make sure we had our lunch and drinks. She went above and beyond making our lunch so great. We highly recommend her and thank her so much.“

While it’s a chain, the food is consistently good, and they cater well to dietary needs with solid vegetarian and gluten-free choices. A big highlight is their multi-course Date Night special—the set menu deal is fantastic value for two people and hard to find these days! It’s also a very reliable spot for larger group gatherings. Parking and wait times vary depending on which location you visit.“
