For over $100 bucks this was terrible. Don’t know why all these good reviews. I’ll never eat there ever again.
They are under New Management and I am impressed! I've tried nearly every Chinese Restaurant in Mission & Maple Ridge and haven't found one that impressed me until today.
The dishes were properly flavoured without being overly salty. Nothing was over-cooked even though I had a 30 minute drive home. The servings were generous, even overflowing from their containers.

Best Chinese food in Maple Ridge!
We ordered the Dinner for 3A + 2 egg rolls, everything arrived hot and tasted delicious.
The sweet n sour pork was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, the pieces were not fatty at all and were still crispy in the sauce!
The beef with vegetables are so good!
Huge portions.
Woking Dragon used to be our go to but Kitchen on the Ridge won us over.

Kitchen on The Ridge in Maple Ridge is a beloved family-owned restaurant known for its fresh, flavorful, and homemade-style Chinese dishes. Many customers appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with friendly staff who make diners feel at home. The menu offers a variety of favorites, including sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein, and beef chop suey, with large, reasonably priced portions that satisfy every time. The Dim Sum selection, especially Shrimp Har Gow and 'Footballs' (#14), is highly praised for being spectacular and well-prepared. Guests often enjoy the food's quality, noting that it is not oily and feels made with care.
For some, the restaurant holds special sentimental value, serving as a comfort spot during difficult times, and a place to celebrate milestones like graduation. Most reviews reflect consistent satisfaction, with many stating they will continue to dine there regularly. However, a few recent experiences have been disappointing, citing issues with undercooked vegetables and bland sides in takeout orders, which has caused some to reconsider future visits. Overall, Kitchen on The Ridge remains a cherished local spot that offers a comforting, delicious, and authentic Chinese dining experience.
